After taking some time away and settling into my new position at work I've decided to return here. I don't know if I'll be able to muster the willpower to get through any of my 250+ backlog, but someone rather close to this drgn (which can have many meanings if you know me ;)) will possibly be helping out in that regard.

I have also recently pruned my IM accounts (telegram and discord) getting rid of well over 100 contacts, a vast majority of which I have had little to no interaction with over the past 2 or more years.

Although my contact information is available on my page be warned that I am likely not what you expect, and although I do my best to respond to folks I'm not much of a conversationalist or roleplayer at this point in my life, so you're free to contact me but I make no promises.

Hey all, it's been a little while since my last set of uploads. Honestly I can no longer find the time or motivation to keep this up to date and go through all the work involved in uploading stuff.

I do have a Telegram channel that contains all of my stuff, but due to the nature of the content I'm not really willing to post a link here in the open. If you're interested though just drop me a note and i can throw the link your way.

Just that dumbass dragon again, here to give a life update and all that nonsense.

Honestly things haven't been going so great for me mentally for quite a while now, plenty of ups and downs but it seems largely downs. Those of you who have me on instant messengers have probably noticed I don't talk as much as I used to.

I was promoted to team leader/supervisor a number of months back but I have recently resigned my position for a number of reasons, whether or not my manager will accept it is another matter entirely though.

Life at home hasn't changed a whole lot, I work nights so I never really see anybody I live with, haven't got a spare room anymore as my mums rented it out to the brother of one of our neighbours, still kinda looking to find someone interested in lodging but I suppose it's a bit crowded here now.

Also please don't comment with the standard "I'm here if you need someone to talk to" I've heard it many times now and it really doesn't help, but thanks for reading those of you who have, hopefully I can get back to uploading some of my backlog soon, but don't hold your breath haha.

back up to 24 images that need uploading, far too much of a chore like most things in the community, keeping up with people is just impossible and i always seem to be around at the wrong time.

So firstly I'd like to apologise for not being so active/talkative. I pretty much spend most of my time working so i'm pretty much not with it a lot of the time. But please do remember i will pretty much always respond if you have messaged me! I'm just terrible at poking first haha.

Also i still have a few images that need to make their way onto FA, but with the lack of time and motivation I don't really have the ability to work out titles and descriptions and the like for getting them into a state for uploading, if anyone would like to help out with that feel free to give me a prod on any of my IM's!

So... does anyone really read them? I know this is probably counterproductive as the people who read journals are likely to also be the ones who do read descriptions, but i can't help feeling it will probably be far easier and not really detract much if i just dump art with titles and tags.

So I've been slowly working on getting my art collection to a state when I can finally upload it. But certain events in my life have caused this to be slow, they've also pushed me to something of a limit mentally so i'll probably be staying dark for a while on IM's (i've removed TG completely, it's just more stress than it's worth.)

But for those of you interested, I co-own the property I live in, which means i also share the mortgage for it. This is all well and good but it means i'm stuck living with my mum until we decide to sell up (she is the co-owner.) Recently she split up with her partner and threw her friend out... on the plus side we've now got a spare bedroom, on the negative side we don't have anyone to fill it.

Work has also been pretty political lately, people making the job far harder than it needs to be and management assuming I can just switch between days and nights whenever they need me to, which is not so good for my mental wellbeing.

But uh.. yeah, that's the short of it, might eventually get some uploading done, but probably not given i'm drifting further and further away from the community.
