Over the next couple of weeks I will be migrating to a new account on here. It is not yet created, but it's going to be a new name and a fresh start. I will be transferring my best images onto that account, and officially move there when that is done.

This journal will be updated when the account is created. You may watch it whenever, as I will be submitting there regularly.

Also, I will keep this account open, since I have many commissions and such on here, but it will become inactive.

First of all, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all~! I hope everyone has a memorable time with family and friends, and stay safe

I haven't made an update journal in a long while. I am now on my 2-week winter break from school. Ahhh feels so good lol. And of course, I immediately come down with a sickness. My throat is sore and scratchy, I'm congested, and I can barely hear out of my right ear. :(

In art related news, I was planning to start finishing my last commissions tomorrow, but that's not looking likely right now. If I do draw, it will be privately(no stream). And starting today, I will probably be gone until after Christmas, just to be with family and such.

People have also been asking about trades recently, and here is my "plan." If I do manage to finish all of my commissions before break is over, then i will possibly take a couple in the month of January. I honestly do miss trading with people<333

Today is going to be quite an interesting stream, and hopefully be fun as well! I am inviting all of you to come along with me on a journey to learning how Photoshop CC works. This is in no way a tutorial on anything, but just playing with brushes and all the neat things on this program.

i will have my mic and camera on, so you guys can see my voice, ohgodthehorrors. But who else has a pet peeve when people talk and you can't see them? just me, okaythatsfine.

But this is just going to be a fun and great learning experience for me and hopefully some of you too. Learn from my mistakes, since I make a lot of them.

I don't know for how long. I really don't.

I will just need some time for emotional healing, as lame as it sounds. When I feel better ill come back.

I will give an explanation though. I've had a German shepherd since I was 8 (9 1/2 years now), and over the last few weeks we noticed he was becoming slower, unresponsive, and losing weight.

All day today he's been at the vet, having blood tests and X-rays. It has been confirmed today that he has stage 4 liver cancer. In other words, his liver is failing slowly and painfully. He is also deaf, but due to old age. But he won't eat or drink, and wants to just sleep.

So, either tomorrow or Friday, he will probably be euthanized. We don't want him suffering anymore than he has to. We know its really painful for him to do anything.

But as I said, I don't know how long I will be gone. I'll try to work on any art if I can but right now all I wanna do is just lay in bed.

I hope everyone has a happy thanksgiving too.

Some commissioners have expressed concern in the past on why their art takes me so long to get done sometimes. So I figured an explanation is a good thing to do since I opened again.

Currently in my senior year of high school, college is creeping up fast. The past few weeks I've been applying and gathering documents and the like to submit to them, as well as making sure my counselors send the required papers. I'm also taking 3 AP/college courses right now and they tend to give out a lot of homework during the week. This leaves little time for art, since I don't want to get too behind and never catch up.

Weekends are usually the times when I do work on commissions, but sometimes I either have to devote to my family or, if it's been a particularly busy week, I just rest my brain. If I try to force myself to draw when I'm too exerted, it won't come out very good quality and I don't want that for my commissioners.

So yes, sometimes it can take weeks, even a month or two, but I promise I give it my all on my commissions. And with patience, your commission will get done and you will (hopefully) be satisfied with the result. I'm always willing to email you an update or picture proof if you are worried about never getting it.

I was trying to delete my livestream submission but FA won't let me do it. When I move the cursor over the remove button, there's a small ? that appears. D:

I have seen a lot of artist do these and I'm just wondering how they work?

The past week I have been completely exhausted, no matter how much I sleep. I can barely even wake myself up in the morning to go to school. And even then I end up falling asleep, or close to it, in my classes. On the weekend, I can sleep for 11 hours straight and be ready for bed again not long after I wake up.

The time I am awake, I feel so out-of-body and barely comprehensive. It's hard to think past the daze in my head. Even writing this is difficult for me right now.

I'm hoping to get to the doctor soon when I am insured again, just to make sure it's not some other cause, and to check my red blood cell count. RBC destruction can cause anemia as well. But in the mean time, I've resumed to taking my iron pills, hoping they can help at least a little bit.

Checking online, I have most of the symptoms of moderate anemia. Including :

Easy fatigue and loss of energy
Unusually rapid heart beat, particularly with exercise
Shortness of breath and headache, particularly with exercise
Difficulty concentrating
Dizziness
Leg cramps (sometimes)

I will still try to work on art this weekend, but when/if I stream it will probably be for short a duration. So if I don't end up finishing much, if anything at all, this will be why.

But I hope everyone else is doing well<33

So I was reading various posts on Tumblr about being a better artist to commission and be friendly with all around. One post really made me stop and think, and now I look at my art in a new light, hopefully a more positive one. But reading these posts, I have realized some major issues I have as an artist taking commissions.

The main problem I have is my art is under-priced. I've been told my fellow peers as well as commissioners that my art is worth more than what I am currently charging. I never wanted to charge a lot because, being new at this, I felt like I was already charging too much. But I see now that it's the exact opposite. And I also learned about the negative effects that under-pricing can do in the long run.

With that said, tonight I will be adjusting my prices accordingly. I'm not sure how much they will increase, still have to crunch out the numbers. The new prices will be found in the Commission Tab on my profile.

I will also be making alterations to my ToS, and enforce new payment policies and negotiations for those who need it.

Another problem, which I've known for awhile, is I end up taking too much of a work load, not calculating the time balance of school and art. So from now on, I will ONLY accept 3 commissions at a time. This can give me a span from a few weeks to a month to finish them. It will also keep everyone less stressed and aggravated with any delays that might occur.

And the last apparent problem is my lack of communication with my commissioners. I always said, "If you want an update, don't be afraid to ask." But I realize that I should be the one going to you and giving you status updates on your commissions, especially if you have been waiting awhile. Tomorrow I will send out status emails on where your commission is currently at, and an ETA on when it MIGHT be completed. If I am taking a while, or I have school work to do and am unable to work on art, I'll be sure to contact you letting you know about the delay.

I hope all these changes will be a good thing in the long run.
But I am gonna go nap now XD
