heres a protip on finding a way to enjoy the latest resident evil movie. after every scene, just say out loud, "eh, why not?" It solves all confusion. In fact, say it as a refresher every 3 minutes of so.

Not all gloom and doom, but to get the cons out of the way:

- I still haven't found a day job. No money is bad, given my current situation (http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/1090347/)

- My tax forms still haven't come in

- The apartment me and  Rankwolf were looking at is a no go.

- I didn't get accepted for the Exchange teaching program in Japan. But Rank got an interview!

Okay, anyway like I said it isn't all bad. I just finished my registration to attend E3, as did Rank. Hopefully that will turn out ok. Last year was amazing, but my roommate was a giant ass. hopefully I can spend my time in LA with someone I love

Also, like I said me and Rank didn't get the apartment, but there is another place we're looking at.

Things are rough, really REALLY rough, but there are people I love around me. so I know I'm at least strong enough to pull through.

Mom was diagnosed with lymphedema.

so, since May, this has happened to her

Breast Cancer
bilateral mastectomy
Diabetes
High Blood Pressure
medical leave from work (no income)
boyfriend left her
boyfriend didnt pay rent
boyfriend "borrowed" money from previous rent
High cholesterol
lymphedema
possible eviction...

I'm not sure why I'm posting this. I just needed it off my mind and onto the screen, I guess. Social security is ignoring us, and the state won't help either.

Okay, where to begin with this one....

I suppose I should start be saying I'm NOT trying to be a charity case.
Though I probably should.

About six months back, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer, diabetes, and high blood pressure all at once. She has since had a bilateral mastectomy. (both breast removed), and has multiple doctor's appointments almost daily. Needless to say, she cannot work.

During all this, I began to get shafted hard in numerous ways by the new boss at work. He had something against me, though I'll never know why. He even made racist remarks to other employees, who then told me. When I told the District manager, he went and told my boss. Yeah, that made things better. ANYWAY, I found a new job that promised more hours.
That was a lie. A big lie.

I went from making about 125 a week (bad) to less than that every two weeks (worse). And the manger ended up being demoted and transferred by a new DM the day after I left. Wonderful.

SO My mom can't work, and I can't even afford the gas to drive her to her appointments (I have about $400 of bills to pay on my own each month)

But that's not even the worst part.

My mom's boyfriend of over eight years decides now is the time to split, and does so on the 31st of October. Right when rent is due. On top of that, he also lied to the landlord and took several hundred dollars out of the previous months rent, which he told him was for car insurance. Funny thing is, we haven't had that in a long time due to money being so tight.

As of December, we were 2300 dollars in debt to the landlord alone.

A few good family members helped us out and arranged a fundraiser for my mom, getting us a little less than $1000 in the process. While this certainly helped, We were still in a hole. Our landlord has been extremely patient with us, but we're teetering dangerously close to the end of the month again.

I don't know what to do. I'm a full time student looking for a second job, and I'm not even sure if that will help. I don't want to be homeless again. I don't want that for my mom.  rankwolf has been here for us every step of the way, and I love him to death for it. I can seriously never repay him for his dedication to me. However, I still need help.

So I'm doing commissions.

Basically, I'll draw whatever you want. At this point I don't care. We need help, and I have to do something.

So here are the prices. I hate to even charge people for my work ever, but this is a pretty bad situation.

On thursday,  rankwolf came down to visit me to celebrate our SIX MONTH ANNIVERSARY (W00T). We went out to this amazing Japanese Hibachi grill restaurant neither of us had heard of before. The food was amazing. the chef was amazing. the drunk guy who looked like mario sitting at the next table spouting random pro american phrases was amazing. It was all... amazing.

But the night didn't end there.

After that we joined a friend to watch paranormal activity, and... holy shit. See that movie. And see it alone.

The next day, I had to catch up on homework (as did  rankwolf), so the day was spent together in my room listening to lectures on After Effects. Then I had to work, but Ranky was with me so I didn't care. The best thing about yesterday was that we came home together, watched Mystery Science Theater, and I fell asleep in his arms. He apparently tucked me in, and I never knew

Today we had breakfast and lunch, then more homework stuff. I had to work and rank had to leave. Both of those things sucked.

How did I make up for it?

I QUIT MY JOB.
