Commission Updates/Prices for 2021
Posted 4 years agoHi everyone! After my prices pretty much had stayed the same since 2017, I wanted to do a little update of my current rates. I reviewed how long and how much work my different offerings usually take me, as well as created a new website for my prices and TOS found here:

I have mainly switched over from the highly detailed fur style, which often took days to weeks to finish a single piece, to working primarily in a softer/more cel-shaded style as it's a much quicker work flow for me and produces nice results! When I open commissions, I will announce slots primarily on Twitter (https://twitter.com/alaitallon) and on here, and I may open for just specific types at a time, depending on how much time I have available.
Feel free to let me know if anything is unclear or you have questions about the process or anything in my TOS. Thank you for your continued support, as I love and appreciate all of my followers more than I can adequately convey! I hope to have more raffles/freebies this year, and they will mainly be on my Twitter, as it's easiest for randomizing entries, but I'll make sure to update on them here when they happen! I also have plans to maybe start producing a small amount of merch this year such as charms, stickers, etc., depending on how well it goes and how smooth the process is! I will be sure to announce here when this happens!

FWA 2017 wrap up!
Posted 8 years agoHello friends! Made it back safely from the con and just working on a few things to update my work queue, unpack, and generally get settled back in to "real life." I'm already suffering from some post-con blues, but this too shall pass.
This was probably the best con I've had in long time (and I've been to many! This was my 6th FWA) and all of you people are amazing and fantastic. I was happy to make new friends and catch up with old ones, and I want to give a big THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by my table, whether it was to look at my art, buy a commission, offer candy (food is always welcome!) or just chat or cheer me up.
had a much better time than usual, too, because he pushed himself to be social (with a little help from me, but mostly him!) and meet people, which made him so much happier in the long run! I also got for the first time in forever to just chill out with some people rather than work the entire con and it was great. :3

Dealers Den at FWA!

All the way in the back of the room this year (lol not my choice!) but I'll have some awesome traditional badges, digital badges (I'll print them for you there at the con!), and sketches! I may have a few adoptables for sale this year, too, in case you want to bring home a new character to get commissioned at the con! :D

Looking for a fursuit maker by mid 2017 completion!
Posted 9 years agoI am trying to find a maker that's open right now for a full toony or semirealistic digi suit of nazear's Kovah but it has been so difficult finding anyone that's open! We want it in time for Anthrocon 2017 if possible and have a budget of $2000-2500 or so. Just having a lot of trouble searching through makers and would be super grateful if anyone has any leads! Thanks all! :3

I'm going to be in the Dealer Room at Anthrocon in Pittsburgh, PA this year! It's been several years since I've been able to make it but I'm so excited to go again! Distance is a big factor, since the last few times I went, it was a relatively short drive from New York, but I've been back in Georgia for several years now. Kovah and I are driving up starting Wednesday and rolling into town on Thursday to start setting up and getting ready. We will be here:

FWA 2016 wrap up!
Posted 9 years agoI've actually been back from FWA since last Sunday, I've just finally now had a chance to catch my breath and write! I had to go right back into work when I returned on Monday, so being thrown back into a full-time 40hr work week after a con is exhausting!
I arrived with Nazear on Thursday and immediately was stressed out by the check-in/traffic situation. Even though we live south of Atlanta, and actually were in midtown for a few years, I have to keep reminding myself of just how utterly awful traffic is in Atlanta. :P We survived and were able to get set up in the Dealer Den without too much trouble!
In the Dealer room on each day, we noticed that traffic and business was really slow in the mornings and early afternoons, then seemed to pick up significantly towards the afternoon, usually after 1pm or 2pm. Though I still got quite a lot of work that kept me busy all con (Kovah lost so much sleep because I was staying up late to work on badges in the room), I would have preferred it spread out a little more evenly. :P
I met some really cool people who stopped by my table! I can't recall all of them, but many thanks to
yamatoiouko, arrowman, 
whitewulf, 
decemberrain and 
morpheushusky, Urso and Serai, 
azulangel, ShadowPuppeh and RebelSheppy, 
toddwolfox and 
christofur~, Frank the Husky, and everyone who stopped by my table just to talk! I had some great conversations with people from all over! It was great to see 
daggerleonelli who I have known from waaaay back in my Lion King fanart days and has continued to do art and become amazing!
I also want to promote
goldendruid and 
talenshi who are both fantastic! Kovah and I got badge commissions from them (I think this is our first con actually splurging on some art) and we are really excited to see how they turn out! Both of these artists are incredibly talented, SUPER nice and pleasant to talk to, and just such a positive influence to have at the con.

Posted 12 years agoGiving my Species Saturday (and adding Sunday as well) another shot! I had fun with the last one and want to keep going. :)
This week's theme is deer and antelope! Gimme those whitetails, gazelle, bongos, kudu, moose, you name it! I realized too late that these guys are actually in different families (deer are Cervidae, antelope and their cousins are Bovidae) so it's a bit of a bigger category than most Saturdays!
Each Species Saturday has a different theme. My goal is to work on animals/creatures that I don't have as much experience with or think would be fun. I'll be taking slots for badges/ACEOS that follow the theme for a reduced price, so it's win-win!
I don't have a lot of examples up yet, but the vast majority of these will be in real media for now (mostly markers and/or colored pencil). I have several examples of my normal marker work in my gallery if you're curious!
I also am offering what I call "guinea pig" slots. For these, I'm allowed to try out new techniques/styles/media for your art, and it might not always come out how you expect. How I decide to do it is entirely up to me. It's a surprise!
Now for the prices:

This is a FREE icon day. Everyone who signs up and follows the rules (There are only two rules!) will get ONE lineart icon.

Why donate, when you could get one for free, though?
- If the donations reach $100, all icons (not just donations) will be flat colored.
- If the donations reach $200, donators will be upgraded to cell-shaded icons.
- If the donations reach $300, everyone gets a cell-shaded icon.
- If the donations go beyond this, we'll work something out! :D

I will be working on these in spurts. They will not all be finished today, especially if I get more than I expect. Donation icons will be finished first in the order I received them, followed by the rest. Please be patient!
