So House Kitsune is hosting a bottle rocket/potluck event in Chugiak! I couldn't exactly copy all of the information, so I just took a screen shot of the event.

Basic information:

What- Bottle rocket making and a bbq potluck.
Where- Loretta French Sports Complex 18100 Old Glenn HWY, Chugiak, AK.
When- May 27th, at 2PM.
What to bring- Potluck food and bottle rocket kits (if wanted.)

Fursuits are also acceptable!

If you guys have never gone to the Extreme Fun Center before, they have an arcade, lazer tag, go carts, bumper cars, etc.
We'll meet up in the Foyer at 3PM, and go from there. Food is a bit pricey (especially drinks,) so there may be a get together afterwards at Red Robins or Valley Hotel for noms.

Hello fellow Alaskan furs!

There will be a FurBowl meet in Wasilla on Saturday, March 26th at North Bowl off the Palmer-Wasilla Highway! Come join furry friends for some fun times bowling, chit chatting, and snacking! Fursuits are welcome so bring your A-game and your finest suit to test your bowling skills!

This meet will take place during the North Bowl Bowling Alley's Neon Bowling session. This makes things a bit different; people pay for 2 hours of bowling plus shoes for a flat rate of $15.

North Bowl does NOT take reservations during their Neon Bowling. That being said, please be sure to show up BEFORE 6:15 PM in order to join up with the group and make sure everyone who WANTS to bowl all get their shoes and pay at the same time to get onto the same lanes.
If you have any questions, be sure to message (Ariel) via Notes to get more information about the meet up. Ariel will be bringing Raptor Dean with her, so just look for the Raptor when you get to the alley!!

There is also talk about going out to eat somewhere once everyone is finished up with bowling, so be sure to come to the bowling meet to find out more about that! That being said, bring a little bit of extra cash if you're planning on buying food. Or pack some snacks ahead of time (although outside food might not be permitted inside of the bowling alley.)

Who?: Anchorage, Eagle River, Wasilla, Palmer, Girdwood, and anybody else who wants to commute to Wasilla for a couple hours of fur fun!

What?: Bowling meet! The alley is fursuit friendly, so bring your fursuit, whether it's a partial or full, or bring just your tail and ears. OR, if you don't have any fur-gear, bring your pretty face so we can see you and have some fun! NO FURSUIT REQUIRED!

When?: Saturday, March 26th @ 6:30 PM AKST - Whenever you need/want/have to leave..

Where?: North Bowl - 3250 E Palmer-Wasilla Hwy - Wasilla, Alaska

Why?: Why not?? It's a chance to meet up with other fur friends and get the chance to fursuit! The more, the merrier!

Estimated budget?: $15-$25 ($15 for 2 hours of bowling AND shoes + food)

Hey all! Ariel here with a quick little update to post.

Sorry if it seems a bit last minute to be sharing this, but this event has been posted on Facebook for a bit and I wanted to go ahead and share it here, as well, for any Anchor-furs and furs around the Anchorage area that might not be on Facebook.

There is going to be an Anchorage Furry Photo Shoot THIS coming Saturday, February 20th @ 12:45 AKST. It will be happening at the Campbell Airstrip Trailhead, located just off of Tudor Road. The shoot probably won't be longer than 2 hours, just to give people a bit of a time frame of how long furs will be in the park.

A local Anchorage photographer has graciously given us time out of his day to come out and take some nice, professional photographs of us furs having fun in the snow (or at least what's left of it in this particular park.) That being said, for anybody who does attend, it would be greatly appreciated if you could bring a $5 donation to pool together for the photographer as a thank you and a small amount of compensation for coming out to this shoot. If you are not able to bring money, that's perfectly OK! Come to the meet for some fun, regardless of bringing a donation or not. The more furs, the better!

Concerning the prior FA page, access to it has been lost to the sands of time, both the account password and the password to the email it was tied to. So we've decided to start over!
