BS Crap
Posted 15 years agoSo with this new BS about the AUP, it seems that everything adult cub art is being banned, even stories. And it seems to me that this all got started because of a spat between an artist and a commissioner about delivery of artwork and payment. Then shit hit the fan, total bull, and it ends up screwing over anybody who deals with the adult cub stuff.
Meh, so I'm going to take my adult stuff and move them over to soFurry. I'll still be here and hopefully add to Terra someday. Work and other things are slowing me down.

Home Again, Home Again
Posted 15 years ago Well, I finally got myself connected on the net again. Been back home for about 2 months, but I've been staying with my brother while I was looking for an apartment. While I had the internet at my brother's place, it's hard to get anything done when you have a 3 year old nephew wanting to follow you all the time and calling your name. I like him, but sometimes I just wished for some peace and quiet. Found a great place, and a great steal, the apartment I was supposed to get wasn't ready, and they moved me into a bigger place for the same price at the first one.
I should be getting a new story out soon, maybe next week, for the meantime have a happy thanksgiving.
PS - It's my birthday tomorrow, oi, I'm getting old.

Moving Home
Posted 15 years agoWell today is my last day here, tomorrow I'm moving back home. ROAD TRIP!! 3 day drive though, oi, that's going to be interesting. See you next story.
Pushing the Last Journal Out

Yay, I past those A+ tests, now I'm certified, but yet no job. It's hard find something right now. I was thinking of moving back home, but now I am going to, it seems that my mother's health is going downhill, of that's how it sounds. However though, I won't be able to move until late fall. (Sigh)
I've started to think about maybe about taking commissions for stories, but I don't know yet. Maybe I will, depends on if people are interested.

Moving on, & July 4th rant
Posted 15 years agoWell, I had to quit from my job. I didn't really want to, but with them scheduling me to work so much I couldn't really study for those A+ exams. It also started to cause pain in my feet, as I was on feet for hours on end, with no rest brakes. Doesn't really matter now, I'm taking those tests next week, and I'm ready.
July 4th, Independence Day. I enjoy a lot, love to watch fireworks, and get to play with it also. Though idiots around here, think 'Hey, it's June 30th, lets launch fireworks." Last time I checked, July 4th is Independence Day, not the end of June, not July 1-3, not July 5 & 6. And of course they want to launch them well into the night, when people are trying to sleep. Last year, I heard fireworks going off well after midnight on July 5th. I just want to go and launch fireworks up their asses, I'm trying to sleep, so is most of the city.
Sigh, I enjoy fireworks, but not the dipwads who do that crap. As much as I might miss it, I hope the weather is bad on Sunday, maybe it won't be as bad it was last year.
Back to the studying, and playing Civ IV and Oblivion.

Life
Posted 15 years agoSigh, as much as I'm happy I got a job, the place is killing my feet, and been working long hours. Oh well, at least I'm getting money. :)
But I can't just keep working there, so after talking with my older brother, I'm going to work on getting an A+ certification (computer hardware), then after that, work on becoming a MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer). Then maybe I can actually get to do something I like. Though the hard thing is either stay here where I'm now, or to move back home to NJ, where I might have a better chance to get hired, as my brother has a computer business and might have some contacts that I could use. But that comes later, first I need to take and pass those A+ tests. Back to studying and a bit of writing.

Finally
Posted 15 years agoI've been out of work since last August, sigh. And since then been looking for a job, with no damned luck. When you try to get a position with the evil empire (Wal-Mart) and they don't hire, bad times ahead. But finally, FINALLY, I got a job on Tuesday :) I start on Monday. Dances a happy jig.
