Hi! Yes! As the title says, I finally got a job. A regular architectural small company in my city. They do various projects, but focus on revitalization. It means the end of my holidays, but anyway I'm happy- I will be more experienced AND earn money. I can still take commissions, but maybe smaller projects? I also have to do my training, so I will not have much time for the drawing :(

Today I had the worst exam, hope it went ok, we will see in the next couple of days. Also I have 2 projects to finish, but they're almost done, so I should get back to commissions and drawing soon, like even this week :3 See ya!

Hi, it's me again.
I wish I had better luck. I don't even know where to start. Yesterday, that is saturday, the running club that I'm a member of, organized a really hard 10k cross run on the motorcross track (you can have a look at these http://epainfo.pl/to-byl-bieg-dla-g.....iatkowisku-16/ https://fbcdn-sphotos-c-a.akamaihd......89687902_n.jpg ). I took part in it of course, because though last year edition was also hard- I managed to accomplish it with 1h15' time. This year's best time was 45', it's not a normal 10km track. But getting back to things- I run too fast on one of the steep downhills... I flew and landed HARD on my left knee and left arm/forearm. Went to hospital and it turned out that my bones are ok, but the wounds overall are pretty bad. So now I have two weeks of forced holiday away from my triathlon training... Two weeks taken out of a 12-week training is too much, and obviously I can't postpone the race date. So I either give up completely or try to take part in other, later olympic distance triathlon. That is a month later the 7th of September. But then I might need (highly possible) a triathlon foam wetsuit. 1,5km spent in cold water isn't nice at all.. and September in Poland is rather cold... The cheapest wetsuits start at 170$ in shops like decathlon etc. And that is the amount of money that I'll try to earn through commissions. Please, if you can't commission me, send the word further. I'll appreciate any help.

I still haven't uploaded prices and examples, but just out of curiosity, would anyone be interested :( ? I thought I'd get a job and manage to work and continue my studies at the uni, but it didn't work out the way I wanted... I also don't get my scholarship anymore, so it kinda sucks. I feel like a leech to my fiance :( So I'd greatly appreciate if anyone would like to support me through commissions. I guess it can be anything- I'd also love to get back to drawing, especially since my studies lured me away from it.

Anyway, running became such a mainstream...After completing a full marathon last year I decided to take part in an olympic-distance triathlon :D Have 3 months to prepare well for it!

Hi ! A lot has happened in my life since the last journal. I finished my uni a week ago, at least "the first step" and I'm officially an engineer architect, though I have to continue my studies to get the degree of master of science. But till march I'm free :)
Whew, I also run my first marathon, that is 42 km or 26 miles if you prefer. That happened on 29th of september. Also, much bigger surprise- I engaged with my boyfriend that day. I didn't give up, run from the beginning till the end! But just a few meters before the finish line my love asked me if I would become his wife :3 Dunno if my brain worked right at that particular moment, but anyway, I said yes :3
I didn't have much time during all my studies, tried to upload something occasionally... So I hope with the little free time I'm left with, I'll draw something good :) I'm sorry for not being overall active, but with school and other hobbies, meeting friends and family, it's quite hard.

I guess that before holidays I was just busy with univeristy work etc. Then I spent almost all of my holidays away from home (3 weeks in Ukraine, 3 weeks in England, 1 week in my own country but on the boat) It was like " O hai mom I'm back for a couple of hours, oh, bai mom, gotta go"
I didn't have a lot of time for art also, which is sad :( But anyway, I'll try to upload something here :)

I managed to make a 10km run under 55 min, 54:49 to be exact :D I also went for the first half-marathon in my life :) 21 km is quite a distance. Though I'm getting better, I try to cover about 200km per month :)

I've passed all of my exams, I must admit that it was the worst exam session so far ( the 3rd one, and there are many many more to go through in the future....) There's only one project that I have to finish yet, and that's it. I'll have two weeks of freedom. I feel bad for students who didn't pass their exams, as they'll have to retake them soon, leaving no break at all before the new semester, but oh well, life is life.

Like, really. Stupid exams, projects, school, damn it. I demand at least 40 hours per day :| 24 h is not enough

It's no surprise that always at the end of January things tend to pile up at my technical uni, that February is the month full of exams, projects to finish because it's the end of winter semester. BUT OH WELL IT'S ALWAYS A SURPRISE FOR STUDENTS YOU KNOW. Oh, it's January, oh well, oh the exams are coming, how so? TIME'S PASSING BY SO FAST DAMN IT.

Duhhh. The thing is that I can really drink a lot of alcohol. Yeah, experience :| So it was quite strange, and surprised me a bit, I guess the reasonable answer is just tiredness. Well, I had a blackout once earlier too, but that was like two years ago. Since then I've been at many parties, nothing's happened, untill now. I lost a lot of weight in the past year (I heard that people can't stand a lot of % then), but not so long ago I was at a party where I drunk a lot of vodka, still nothing happened, I felt good and everything....

Jeez strange, plus friends told me that I wasn't even drunk, so wtf :| ?

My injured knee seems to be okay now, yesterday I went running and made 5 km in 27 minutes which is a really good time considering me, lol. Tomorrow I'm going to run again (5-6 km only so I won't over-work my knee) , we will see how that turns out :3
I've also spent awesome holidays with my love <3 Had a lot of fun AND still have one more month of holidays left :>
Well, I also bought that huge drawing table for engineers with my saved money, and will soon get my lovely new rapidographs <3
If luck won't leave my side I'll get few more commissions and will save more money for those stupid papers, crafts and things for making models.

Jeez, btw. is fuel so f*cking expensive outside of my country too -___- ? From what I've heard the prices are slowly falling down, I'm afraid though that polish ^#%!%@ government will just add bigger excise for fuel, so the price won't change anyway. D'uh, greedy pigs (not to insult pigs, but you get what I mean)

I really need those 45 bucks, quite quickly, I've noticed an awesome bargain, which includes brand new set of rotring rapidographs. I don't want to bug my parents for money :C they have a lot on their heads already

In addition a few days ago I spent almost all of my saved money on a huge drawing board/table, which is super awesome by the way, but my old rapidographs aren't half as good as rotring's, I'm always cursing under my nose while using them :C They often don't want to work even if I take good care of them :C

So maybe if not you, someone else would like to commission me? I'll draw a fully colored and shaded character with a simple background

It would really help me with saving money from commissions :c

It's all because of
1) regular learning at school and exams at the end of semester, though luckily I've passed them all AND have holidays now C:
2) internet, rather the lack of it. But it's going to change, because I'm going to have a really good connection now (maybe even in a week if everything goes well)

my internet isn't working, most of the time, that's why I don't visit FA or dA anymore.... that SHOULD change in the next coming month, May of course, but I just don't know... I've lost hope.

Studies are fcuking HARD. I barely slept over the last few days, but it payed off. Now I have THREE weeks of holidays, because I 've passed all of my exams earlier, just not in the whole "EXAM TIEM", which is now btw and it will last for the next three weeks. Also now I can honestly say that I've lost 11 kg over this semester. YES STUDIES THANK YOU FOR THAT ONE LITTLE THING.

The other thing is that I need to save money.( I need it mainly for the gas, as I have to drive to my uni by car and I make 60-70 km per day, might I add that the gas is very pricey in Poland) I've spent a lot of money in the past few months and now I have barely nothing.. You know, christmas, presents, gas...so yeah. I also had a small job, so it helped me a bit, but since the new year I have no income... I don't want to waste those 3 weeks, and I want to open commissions. I guess that I will draw anything, I'm quite desperate (the only question is my experience) I can even draw a house, lol. I'm not going to post a list with prices, since people might get many diff. ideas? Besides, there are older journals with previous lists, so you might check them out. I guess that I will charge about 8-10$ for a sketch, depends on a complexity of the character. Yes, I have paypal.

Sorry for my absence, but I barely have free time, and if I have it, I spend it with my bf or friends in general. You know, beer and vodka lol. IT'S F*CKING COLD over here in Poland. And there is a lot of SNOW. Damned snow :C I liked it back when I was like 10 years old. Now I'm almost 20 and hate it.

Jeez, I don't know how, but somehow I keep going on. There's one exam that I have to retake... fortunately only one... yeah descriptive geometry really hates me and vice versa. Though this week I have another two exams, from Maths and Structural Mechanics. Hmmmmmm >_> I guess that the first one will be worse.

Oh, and I cought a cold about two weeks ago. Fun

Technical university= no fun. A lot of work to do. Stupid projects to draw from many subjects + lectures and exercises from subjects like math, building materials, structural mechanics, general building aaand descriptive geometry.

And believe me, the last thing is the WORST. I don't get it. Maybe a bit, but... I'm not sure. It's just stupid. I'm okay with everything else, but not descriptive geometry :C

Ahh, I thought that I should change currency from $ to €. Euro is a bit more stable.

So, the sketches I've been doing. They seem to be a good solution for me, as they don't take a lot of time. But anyway I won't be able to make more than 2 per month.

Seems like my 1st semester will consist of subjects like: building materials, descriptive geometry, ergonomics, free hand drawing and painting (yaaaaay), general building, history of universal architecture, introduction to mathematical analysis, introduction to architectural design, introduction to urban composition, structural mechanics and the principles of the art composition.....

Yesterday I had first lectures/lessons of general building, descriptive geometry aaaaand mathematical analysis. Fuuuun, I tell ya :B I have already filled like 10-15 pages of my giant notebook. Gotta read this shit again, I kinda get it all, but still my brain is slow :B Or it has to adapt to this new situation.

I'll be going out soon, for the second, wonderful day of my adventure ~_~I start with structural mechanics, which doesn't sound good or friendly, but then I have 4 hours of my main subject- introduction to architectural design, yay :D

And I've caught a cold. Because of my dad, I assume. He's been sick for a couple of days now. Argh. My head feels so heavy D: And I sneeze a lot, so my throat is sore. Thanks dad.

I was working on sandcastler's commission... the last save contained something like stick men, you know, just the plan of the future pic (even if it's just a sketch I pay great attention to the anatomy). I had the light outlines drawn of the two characters, so I was pretty close to the end... but then I decided to check something on the other computer... I nearly saved my current work, but then thought "nah, I'll be back in a sec'. JEEZ, that was the biggest mistake. When I was sitting in the other room, the electricity disappeared, as I said, for just a while.....but that was it.

YEAH. I'M SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW. somebody kill me please, I'm so stupid

I'm setting new prices of my commissions, after talking to some people on FAF. I'm just still looking for right prices, not too high, so people will want to buy stuff, but also not too low, so I can have good profit from my hard work (and I'm aware of my abilities). I might change these prices again, but don't know when, and if... at all.

I still have 1,5 month of holidays left. But hey, guess what I do in my free time? I learn about derivative and other f*cked up mathematical things from the upper level ~_~ When I was in high school I attended to 'humanistic' class with major subjects like Polish, English and History. Lol. I chose this type of class because I wanted to study law (if you want to study law and get to the proper uni, you first have to gain awesomesauce score from exam from Polish, English and History), aaand to jump into my dad's "lawyers' mafia" >:D But then I was like... Law is boring anyway, what am I doing??? Then it hit me. Architecture.

Unfortunately it was my second (and the middle) year at high school and I couldn't change my class for that Math one (which of course major subjects were Math and Physics). The problem was that I HAD to pass the exam from upper level math (because the basic one is for morons). I started to learn like a madman. Though I still couldn't catch up with everything that I had missed. I managed though. Still don't know how.
I'm going to study at technical university, which means at least a couple of hours with math a week. Stupid professors won't wait for me, I just have to learn some things now, as I don't want to be kicked out after first few exams....
I am still hopeful. I think that I made a good choice. It's kind of a challenge for me. I've learned to draw animals at the early age. I somehow managed to learn how to draw people, good, in the last three years. But buildings? They are just beautiful. I saw some breathtaking projects/pictures and I thought "I want to create these things as well!" There's something that I both love and hate about drawing buildings. They look amazing when finished, but you can't cheat an eye (like we sometimes can when it comes to people and such). If you make even a small mistake, it's clearly visible (at least for an experienced person). So you have to try hard, very hard. Still there's AutoCad :P
But the cherry from the top of the cake is when you can see your project rise in front of you, when it becomes real.
