it's a short journal that details everything about his situation, and I don't have any good advice. If you do have good advice please share.

I've spent the past week and a half on a Ninja Turtles binge. I've watched the first two movies, a great video that rips the third one apart (because I'm not going to try and sit through that), the anniversary movie "Turtles Forever" and I'm almost finished with the 2003 animated series. It's definitely better than I originally gave it credit for, except for seasons 5, 6, and 7 with a huge emphasis on SEVEN! season five was good about half the time, six had enough enjoyable moments for me to get through it, and seven is an exercise in willpower, fortunately I get to end this binge by watching the 1987 series. That will be awesome!

I just wanted to give you all some advance notice. Come June my livestreams will be moving to Tuesdays and Thursdays. They will be at the same time of day (16:00 MST). See you there.

I hate myself. I know I have good qualities, but if I were to make an itemized list of my good and bad traits, the bad list would be substantially longer. I know what kind of person I want to be, and I've given up on the idea of ever being anything close to that person.

Before you respond, I don't want any advice or uplifting words. I just need to know if anyone else understands how I feel.

So as many of you probably know I'm currently in the middle of a rather large picture for  xofrats
I really enjoy large projects for multiple reasons. One reason is the challenge of putting them together. There is so much more preparatory work that goes into large pieces because starting over is much more daunting than with small ones. This preparatory work is much more enjoyable that it sounds, and I learn a lot of things while doing it.

Another reason I like large projects so much is because I'm able to have multiple projects going at a time if one of them is a large one, and so I try to keep at least one large project in the works, and then I can bounce to other projects when I need a break from it to clear my head and gain a fresh perspective.

I have had a flash of inspiration for 3 other projects, in the form of short comics, that would all be a good way to keep my head clear while working on the picture for  xofrats. I don't have the time to do more than one of them alongside my current project; so I'd like to get some opinions on which one you think sounds most interesting. Whichever one people think sounds most interesting is the one that I'll start on first. They are:

The Song of the Icarus: Brief back story about the Icarus mentioned in Homecoming

The Abraham: Brief back story about the Abraham, mentioned on the same page of Homecoming.

Steamroller: Textless comic depicting entrenched infantry defending against a full assault from an opposing force

Feel free to ask for more information. I eagerly await your opinions.

As you've all seen, I posted a 9 page comic a few months ago. What you may not have seen is my signature hidden in each page.
So here is the contest: everyone that notes me the locations of all 9 signatures by March 1st is going to be put into a drawing for a free commission (which will hopefully include free shipping as well *crosses fingers*) By the commission piece is going to be 18"x24" with a character cap of 5, so it's worth the effort you'll be putting in.

and I just came back to 403 journals and 948 submissions in my message box XD I'll never catch up :P

Two of my room mates moved out this month and rent is going up accordingly. As a consequently I have to cancel internet service to save money until I can move into a cheaper place. I'm trying to line something up right now and if all goes well I'll be back in no more than a month, just want to keep you guys in the loop.

I've decided to start taking commissions. I'm not 100% on prices yet, but I'm thinking $12 for a sketch, $12 for linework, and $20 for a fully shaded piece. Shipping costs are $5 inside the US and $10 everywhere else.

I won't do pornography, but so far everything else is on the table.

I'll put up a post later this week with some examples and a more substantial list of what I'm good at and what I'm not.

My laptop died last week, and is beyond reasonable recovery. I'm currently using a desktop that's on loan from my parents. Hopefully I can have a few new things in soon (no promises though).

My net dies for a couple of days and I come back to see over 200 new submissions to look at. It was awesome.

Nothing big here, just surprised at how fast submissions can stack up. I've got 234 to sort through and it sucks, not because there are so many but because I can't give them all the time they deserve. I'm pretty sure I've got one from back in January that I've been holding onto to make sure I read it. I'll get around to it eventually . . . which is kind of like saying I'll have a snowball fight in Hell someday. But enough about me, how are all of you?

I always find myself staying up till some strange am hour that no one should ever see and feeling social. Problem is everyone I know has been asleep for at least 4 hours and waking them up would be terribly rude. Get's lonely :|

Good news: Laptop works again, yay.

Better news: I've got some art to scan and post, yaaay.

Bad news: Internet is a piece of stupid wrapped in irritating and smothered in malevolent hatred and disgust! booo.

Haven't been around at all recently. My laptop busted and I haven't gotten it fixed yet, and I doubt my room mate would like me using his PC for . . . stuff.
