This morning I am happy to say that one week ago I was blessed with the Birth of my Daughter on 2-10-14 at 2051. Maggie Elizabeth will be making a few appearances at future conventions once she and Felina are up for the travel.

Have kept this under wraps for a bit now.

I am going to be a Father!!!

That is right, the Woofbear has started the clone process!

It has been quite some time since I posted a journal entry.

Since the last post, I have purchased a new house, got my motorcycle running again, rejoined the board of directors for RCFM and joined the board of directors for MFM, Paddlefoot built a new fursuit head for me, and Tisket is building the body. Overall, life is going pretty good for my pack. Now I will ask the powers that be to please just let the good times roll for a while.

MFM will start up in just a few days, and it looks to be the best MFM yet. There are new staff members on-board who are chomping at the bit, and with a team of directors, the daily workload will be spread out more efficiently.

I hope to see many of you at MFM.

Greetings my fellow furs, and welcome to my little piece of the FA universe. I want to shed some light on a topic that has irked me for a long time now.

The Truth, there is only one. We all think we know the truth, but in all honesty the truth is a stranger to us all.

Unfortunately, the internet allows anyone, who wishes to stand on their personal soap box, to proclaim their personal truth to be the only truth there is. However, since the truth is a stranger to us all, we can only conclude that someone's personal truth is actually just a point of view. A personal point of view that is affected by the unique perspective of the individual speaking it. Therefore, the only thing that can be said about the truth is:

Do not believe everything you hear, and instead investigate those things that catch your interest before you make up your mind.

What can I say right now about Rocket City Furmeet Lucky 8?

Wow.

I have worked staff on numerous cons, and I work very hard to do a good job. However, for RCFM, I give all I have, take a nap, and keep giving. I have not laughed so hard ever, thank you Corsi, Setsu, and the DERP crew! I feel so alive again and RCFM has re-ignited that Love and Spark for the fandom. What made this year so great? The attendees! You all made this such an awesome weekend. There are so many people to mention this year, and I do not want to forget any of you. I will however mention just a few before I fall asleep at the keyboard.
Guests of Honor Robert King and Xian Jaguar, you both are the poster children for Great Guests. Thank you so much for all you did to help this year. I can see that our choice for GoH was spot on. Xian Jaguar, just seeing you Laughing so hard that you had to sit down was priceless, and your manicure looked awesome :D Brody, I hope you enjoyed the ride. Your first year as Chairman went very well. The Embassy Suites and Ruth's Chris Steakhouse did an awesome job this year. We have such a beautiful hotel with very good staff, and OMG the free cooked to order omelets each morning were full of WIN!

I want to give a very special thank you to Setsu and our security team, Onyx, Fox, Kenyn (sp?), Tisket, and the numerous volunteers who worked so very hard this weekend. Now it is time to start Preparation for RCFM 2011 Dressed to the Nines!

I hope that everyone at FAU3 had as great a weekend as we did.

Hi there Everyone.
I am safe and sound in my new home and job. Things are going well, and I am excited about so much of my life for the first time in a long time. Hugs to you all!

First thing I want to say to you all is MERRY CHRISTMAS! I hope you all had a wonderful and blessed day.
Second, I know many of you are aware of my situation, and desire to get out of where I am. Well, I am happy to announce that I have accepted a Position at the University of Louisville working in the Department of Education IT department. This is a huge move for me, and a serious change in my life and future path. At the start of 2008, I made the statement “New Year, New Life” Well, that has come to pass. I will be departing in January to begin a new job, and a new life.

Things are Looking up for Alex!
If everything goes as planned....Wait, NOTHING ever goes as planned.

Alexander is spending the last few moments in the office today, and then he will be on the way home to finish packing for AC. I really need this convention. The time away to have fun and be free spirited with my friends will really recharge my spirit. So, to my friends who are not going to AC, Please have a safe and relaxing weekend, and to my Friends going to AC, WE NEED to make the MOST of this Convention. Take every Moment to enjoy the time spent with friends, make new friends, and most of all be who you are.
I will have my Room Number posted on the bulletin boards, and I really want to see you at AC. So, keep your eyes open for Alex, he will be the Skunk Striped Wolfbear Running all over the convention.
