The Perfect is the Enemy of the Good
Posted 9 months agoHello all. Been a little bit, as aforementioned. I hope you enjoyed my latest story.
I'll spare you the tl;dr and say that I was struggling with OCD. After some encouragement from friends and some nice therapy help from chatgpt, I finally finished a story that had been commissioned over a year ago.
The kind of mindset I was in after finishing university delayed the story. It was a mindset of 'if I'm not in the perfect mindset I can't write it'. This was extremely deleterious to me, and my work, as the title suggests. If you're in this mindset, it severely limits the amount of practice you can get.
I'll give you an example: let's say you have two writers, two artists, whatever. One of them accepts he is never perfect and practices diligently. He accepts that his work is forever imperfect, as he is imperfect, and he knows there is always something to improve in every piece he publishes.
The other person is someone who has delusions of grandeur (guess who that was). He believes that if he practices at the right time and place when the planets all align he will produce the most profoundly perfect, impactful piece of work ever, with little or no improvements to be made. He practices sparingly and sporadically, once a week if that.
Guess who's going to be the better writer?
The writer who practices more frequently is going to be better than the writer who practices sparingly, even if the 'perfect' writer is 'more intelligent'. Both of the writers are imperfect, but one of them accepts his imperfections and therefore is much better off than the writer stuck in the poisonous mentality.
It is better to produce work that is terrible or mediocre or even just good, than to continuously 'work on' a piece of 'perfect' work that never gets published at all.
If it sounds like a personal attack against you, it's not. It's a personal attack against myself. If you're in this mindset, I hope you can free yourself of it faster than I did. Now I learned this when I'm young, which is right now, but maybe you can be free of this toxic mindset even faster than I became free of it.

Gumroad stories
Posted 2 years agoI'm collecting some data from my watchers to see if it's a good idea. Please comment.
Would you buy stories from a 2nd person perspective about being eaten? If so, what predators would you like to see? The stories would be priced between $5-$10 depending on wordcount.
Thanks for reading and commenting in advance!

Writing Commissions are open!
Posted 2 years agoHello to my 3 watchers.
I am opening writing commissions! I can write most things, ranging from story to nsfw to some mixture of both.
I can write about all sorts of tones, from serious and dark, to horror, to mystery, to silly stuff.
My main rate is £0.038GBP per word.
I also write poems, haikus, and other things. Please ask! I'll write in any format!
I can write about a large variety of kinks. My main ones are:
-Vore
-Macro
-Size Difference
-Vanilla Sex
-Romance
Not my personal favourites but can write about: inflation, gore and other unlisted kinks as well. Please ask if you have questions about what I can write about.
My limits are:
-Scat
-Anything underage
-Overly gross things
On payment:
You must be explicit on the maximum you are willing to pay, and the maximum wordcount of the story, from the start. You may not change this midway through the story, unless with both come to a mutual, specific agreement. If you decide midway through you do not want the story, or this wordcount, I will charge at least half of what the total story cost would have been, plus extra depending on how much was written.
Invoicing is usually done through paypal, but I am open to other apps, depending on how known and trustworthy they are.
I will put great effort into portraying your characters as In Character. This means we will need to be in close contact via discord for you to tell me how you want your characters characterised, for example, dialogue, actions, thoughts, etc. It is required that the commissioner tells me if something is wrong with the story, before I continue, after I send them a draft.
It is not permitted for the client to:
-Redistribute the story without my explicit permission
-Sell the story without my permission
-Use my stories to train any AI models without my permission
I hope I can write something interesting and fun for all of you. If you would like a commission, please note me.
Thank you for reading, I'll see you all soon!

The Fifth Anniversary
Posted 5 years agoSo I created a journal 4 years ago commemorating the 1st anniversary of Undertale, so I should probably do one for the 5th.
I'm still listening to music from Undertale, 5 years later, so it is that good.
The game has probably impacted me for a long time, affecting the shape of my tastes, and introducing me to a new world of video game soundtracks. I wish I could forget it all and experience it all again.
The soundtrack might be the only thing that's mentioned here, because that's the thing that you can consistently go over again and not get bored. Not to mention: how many indie games get several dozen orchestras performing their soundtracks? Though I also want there to be more Deltarune orchestras.
If for some reason you have not played it by now, go play it. It is well worth the money.
So congratulations Undertale, for being a worldwide phenomenon, and for your soundtracks lasting so long in my tastes.

Here's mine
S: Arcanine, Sylveon, Vaporeon, Luxray, Lucario,
A+: Glaceon, Umbreon, Lycanroc Midday, Primarina
A: Eevee, Typhlosion, Braixen, Zoroark, Zorua, Flareon, Liepard
B: Mightyena, Delphox, Espeon, Ninetales, Zeraora, Lopunny, Serperior, Ninetales-Alola, Leafeon, Jolteon, Mewtwo
C: Lycanroc-Midnight, Growlithe, Suicune, Pyroar, Decidueye,
D: Raichu, Pikachu, Samurott
Pokemon that aren't on this list are ones that I didn't think of or aren't sexy enough to warrant putting down. List can be updated
.
It doesn't take long; so be sure to follow up with your own!

Happy Birthday Mewtwo!
Posted 8 years agoSo, obligatory birthday journal for something I really like, again. Yay!
That time of the year again. According to the game entries in Pokémon Red and Blue, Mew, the mother of Mewtwo, gave birth of February 6th. The scientists part of the research experiment, named the newborn 'clone' 'Mewtwo' (real creative guys. XD. At least it sounds like, though I'm not complaining :)
Why make a journal about Mewtwo that no one is going to read? I don't know. I feel obligated since, if you check around in my Favourites, you'll find a 'decent' amount of Mewtwo artwork. Mewtwo has always been one of my favourite Pokémon, ever since I found out about the franchise. You can credit
livinlovindude for his cute artwork of Mewtwo I first found on DeviantArt, and then Furaffinity. Thanks dude. <3
I've got work to do, so there isn't much else I can state for this journal. Here's a few reasons why I like Mewtwo so much:
-Pokémon The First Movie made quite the impression on me. I wouldn't actually rate the movie anything stellar, maybe I 5/10 or 6/10 if I'm being generous. But Mewtwo's appearance, voice acting, sheer power, and the problem solving at the end were really touching and had me in awe at him for a bit.
Not infatuated at all here. :)
-Wouldn't be a journal on Mewtwo if I didn't talk about their sexual features. It might be a bit undignified, since I could be perceived as 'objectifying' Mewtwo, but then again, the amount of Mewtwo 'artwork' in my favourites shows I love him anyway. :D
-Mewtwo's thighs are thick, and they support lovely, digitigrade feet, which are quite nice when combined with an upright posture and bipedal stance. Mewtwo's large, thick tail, looks so nice to snuggle against. I would love to use it as a pillow. :D Who could forget that huge, purple tummy groin? Perfect for stuffing micros and larger preys into, always a joy to see prey sinking into it, through any given orfice~! And lastly, Mewtwo is just so damn handsome as a Pokémon. Look at his face! Would kiss if I met him~!
That's pretty much all I have to say. I can't think of much more; it'd take me hours, and I have to get back to my work. See you all next time!

Happy Birthday Undertale!
Posted 9 years agoA year already, since it came out... wow. (SPOILER FREE.)
This time last year, a game would come out that would change the gaming community, and the world forever: Undertale. For those of you that having been living under a rock for the past year, Undertale is an RPG game summarised as "A game where no one has to get hurt". No one expected what was to come by looking at the game's trailer, or graphics; it really showed that you didn't judge a book by it's cover.
Why it matters:
Undertale in my eyes and the eyes of many, is one of the most innovative, brilliant and revolutionary games of all time. I'll sum it up fairly quickly:
-The combat system is excellently designed, allowing you to go throughout the entire game without killing anyone.
-The graphics, while 16 bit and retro, are colourful and really do make the game look aesthetically pleasing; their simplicity is what makes them great.
-The storyline: It's one of the most deep and emotional storylines every found in a game. There are very few things to pick apart from the storyline, and so many twists and turn that it'll leave you in awe.
-The characters: "Humerus" and quirky, they all have individual and great personalities with awesome designs; you'll fall in love with them quite quickly.
-The soundtrack: Arguably one of the best things about Undertale, the soundtrack gives every moment in the game a perfect piece of music to listen to, ranging from calming to energetic, the soundtrack is one of the reasons to Undertale's huge success.
-The different endings: Rarely every seen, this is a game with multiple endings depending on how you play it. It really reflects what you've been doing in the game and gets you to think about what you've done.
This game is one of the most revolutionary and well-crafted games of all time. There is so little to pick apart and it's one of my favourite games ever.
If you haven't played it already, I highly suggest purchasing the game either through Steam, or the Official Undertale website here: http://undertale.com/
REMEMBER: Don't watch other people play the game on Youtube or search it up elsewhere. Play the game blindly first, you won't regret it. Undertale is a game best felt without hearing spoilers, and will be very fun when felt for the first time.
Happy Birthday Undertale! May you stand the test of time, and be renowned forever.
