After doing some thinking about it I’ve decided to open up to being a gun for hire writer. This frankly hasn’t been an easy decision to come to. I’ve done commission stuff for folk in the past, and lets say while the money was nice, the experience wasn’t. I’ve got a steady IRL job, I’ve got money in the bank, I’ve had no urge to deal with bullshit. Let’s put it like that shall we.
But recently, and with a need to get over a mental slump with burnout and trying to actually to get back into the grove, actually taking on a commission for some shorter work might help. Or at least I hope it will help.
At the very least it will put a few more things on my page here, given how threadbare it is. Yes my last work did great thank you! The number of page views is amazing, and to those of you that looked at it, thank you again. Thank you even more if you read it (FA never says how many people viewed or opened the file). However having more work to put here is good, given that my more personal works are clearly going to take more time to write.
Oh and extra money is still very nice, a bit toward getting a new desktop would be great given that my current one is developing issues from being the type of thing that was built during covidgeddon.
Anyway how is this going to work?
I am going to open for a one off tester slot for a NSFW com. This will be open for a few days (or a week, depending on interest or lack thereof). The starting bid will open at £50GBP ($65.45USD, €58.90EUR) , and will have a AB price of anything exceeding £200GBP ($261.80US, €235.61EUR). Bid increments will be in a minimum of £5GBP ($6.54USD, €5.89EUR).
For this you will get.
-A story about 15,000 words in length (about the size of the third chapter of SSM, which was about 13,706 words in length).
-Featuring two or three main characters* (you can take your pick from my roster of characters if you don’t have anyone to pair off with)
-At least three to four scenes of sexy (or gloopy, I know what folk round here are like) action.
-Choice about what the story will be about, and what it should feature**
-Something resembling an actual story, and not just a short written scene.
-Work that will be at least triple proof read and edited before final publication (you will be posted WIP).
-The same layout and presentation as Solid State Memories***
I have been told that this is something of a bargain for the price.
The temp post for bids, along with full info will be up this weekend (Most likely Sunday morning UK time). I will answer any and all additional questions in the meantime here.
*There will be an extra charge for a third character that isn’t mine, or any other named character you want after that.
**Yes This includes kinks, but do bear in mind that I may or may not agree to write about certain things.
***This will be minus the front cover, I am NOT an artist (or at least one of exceptional skill, SSM’s cover was a one off that I asked for permission to use).

General | Posted 2 years agoSolid State memories update.Practically done now. Might be one or two small things but at this point it's ready to be published. I'm sticking to the set date however as it will give me a chance to change or add things before it comes out. Oh and as always, thank you to all those who checked out the previews it means a lot!
Also, make sure to read all the credits and end stuff when it finally drops. Just saying

Month off.Solid State memories have taken a lot out on me. It's been a fair bit of work (mostly editing to the best of my abilities). So I am going to take most of November off as a mental health break from writing, and well I have other hobbies that I want to catch up on. It's not to say that I am giving up already, I just need to recharge my batteries a bit. Follow me on mastodon for polls concerning the next story.
Solid State memories update

Just an update on the story that I've been writing for the last month or so. I've made more frequent posts over on Mastodon but here I can give more full detail on here as to what is going on.
Right now the First editing pass is done. I'm actually much more happy with the text now, and it frankly reads back a lot better. Word of advice to writers, use a text to speech program and have it read back to you. Yes modern word processors, namely word 365 do and can catch silly mistakes. However you will be surprised how many more caught when they are read back! The biggest ones, and ones easiest to miss, are things like sentence structure, and word usage!
Anyway, I am liking how the story is right now, and it's almost in a state where I could feel like publishing it. However I am still catching small things here and there. That and there are some other things, namely
1, There was a paragraph that is about a character who's mostly in chapter 3. I really HATED how it read when I looked it over on the first editing pass. Why? Well it sort of read like some kind of nationalistic chest beating. It's crap, and isn't what I ever want to promote, I think that kind of stuff is trash and shitty, not to mention is liked by people who are frankly garbage. Not only that, it's NOT EVEN what the character it’s talking about is even like! I will admit that it's a world building issue, but I think for now its something that I am going to dial back. Yes the world I am building is mostly set in the city of a nation that has been overtaken by capitalists (and the capitalists are the outsiders). However this fact is better talked about more in a later story, let the garbage people BE the garbage people, show them being jerks. I shouldn't have to say or do that with this character.
2, Chapter 3 is a dream sequence, well of a sort. There's not enough to remind people that is the case, and that's probably due to chapter 3 being where most of all the sex is (which is mostly what the story is being written for mostly). I'm going to be writing a few 'insert' sections to remind people that this is mostly something that is going on in the head of the main character. Oh don't worry! These will too be a bit smutty as well, after all this story is based off a picture of the main character post wanking herself silly. So I think you can expect what they are mostly going to be about. So bring some kleenex! That said, you might also want them when the 'actual' context of the picture is actually revealed, for other reasons. Just saying.
3, Release date.. I am setting it in stone now! October the 28th! I am very confident that I will have the story, edited, and presented for that date! The second pass won't take that long, and I've already been experimenting with presentation. Bollocks to Times New Roman and point 12 fonts! FU! To the lack of a front cover! I WILL get these things done! I promise a quality product, and I am god-dammed gonna try to deliver on that!
And on a slightly different note.
Future projects.. I have been thinking ahead to when Solid State Memories is done. I have ideas for a few follow up stories set in the same universe, some are sort of both direct and indirect sequels to the events of Solid state memories. One is a direct sequel hinted by the end of the story, another is linked via some of the events in the story. Not every story I am planning to write in this universe is going to be porn. In fact one is going to be something that I've been wanting to write for a while now, a detective story.
Also I've, at least over the weekend, I've been toying with writing commissions. Now I've said on Mastodon that I've been off the idea, and I still am. I would rather want as much control over the story as possible, and frankly the last time I took money for doing furry stuff the experience put me off. However if things go places, well I might think about it. As with thinking ahead about story ideas. I did have a concept for one that might work, and to keep some control over the narrative it would be a sort of 'YCH' type thing. Oh and it would be kinky, very kinky! However for now I am going to leave it on the side and see what people make of my first story first before I do anything more.
Whatever happens though, I am going to take a week or two off before I start hitting the keyboard again regardless first!

A new start

I'm not really sure if anyone at all really reads these journals, heck let alone has even seen my page here. Well if for some reason, and god knows what that is, have checked up on me here you may have suddenly noticed a bit of a change.
Well, a number of things have happened in the last few months. Maybe it's that I am feeling a lot mentaly better. Maybe it's that I've started to want to reconnect with the whole furry thing after a real life disaster (don't ask it was kind of painful IRL crap). Maybe its over the last three years I've started to feel a lot more creative again.
So yes a fresh start.
First thing to go was that header text... Oh boy was I letting that hang! It was a whopping 15 years out of date, and I almost died of cringe reading it. Yep first thing to go!
Second thing, all my old artworks... Don't worry that cringy crap isn't gone. I dislike other artists deleting stuff on a whim, and while I think that its probally stuff that's, well you know, bad, I also know that their are peoples coms and stuff. It's all moved to scraps now. Not gone, but it's not stuff I want to showcase front and center now.
Third thing, well I am writing now. Well I was always writing, I just didn't really wrtite anything furry. I just don't know why.
If you haven't already noticed, I've already posted a sample of "Solid State Memories". This is the first of a line of works I'm calling "Palavan City Tales", It's what I call a 'VapourPunk' Setting. A world where the tech level is set to that of the late 70's to the early 90's, with a good dolop of the 80's. Think cyberpunk, only with less retro future tech, and more tape players.
Oh and since it's the main thing that people come here for, yes the first story is a porn. Well a porn of sorts, I have a thing of liking to put a lot of this thing called 'A STORY' around it. You know since it's at 2700+ words long! Yes I'm putting a lot of work into this.
Oh, and while I am on this topic, to everyone that took a look at that preview, from the bottom of my heart THANK YOU! I hope you enjoyed it!
270+ views, that was fairly good for just a preview. I hope it means that I am doing something right.
Anyway I have a ton of things to do right now. Expect this place to change a bit over the next few weeks when I get a chance to update it. Oh, and I may post a few updates on the story as well at time to time.
