I wanted to update you on the latest events discussed in my previous journal entry, and I'll try to be brief because, I must admit, this was all very painful for me to write.
The hard fight ended in April, to our great despair when the harmful effects of cancer suddenly accelerated and, as I told you, we feared the worst. Alas, the worst did indeed happen, and my mom has finally gone to a better place where, I hope, she will never suffer again. She was brave and combative, and fought until the end. I stayed by her side as long as I could to support her with all my being. No one wanted it to end like this, and it is terribly unfair. We said goodbye in our own way, sometimes a look is enough. I had also made a small post to talk about this heartbreaking moment and pay tribute to her through a small drawing done the same day:

As you can easily understand, the last few months have been extremely difficult. Emotionally, I am a wreck trying every day to rise to the surface, to heal from this irreplaceable loss. Not to mention all the heavy and burdensome administrative procedures that followed and are still going on, only rubbing salt into the wound. She will be with me every day from now on, as that's what many people who have had similar experiences have told me but I miss her terribly. The family has pulled together and we have united to support each other. I have lost my mother, and my grandparents have lost their only daughter, but I am there for them now and watching over them. Fortunately, I am well surrounded.
Speaking of support, I wanted to thank you all so much for the immense and invaluable support you've given me over the past few months.
All your donations and messages of support not only helped me cope with these sad events, but thanks to your kindness and compassion they have kept me afloat when I could no longer draw/work at all. Thank you for showing me all your support and affection, and for showing me that I was legitimate in your eyes as an artist.
I haven't drawn since April, but I've been able to focus on big side projects that have kept my brain busy every day. It's a technique I've found that has helped me quite a bit over the past few months to avoid sinking into despair and allow me to stay active. My moods are up and down, but being able to stay active and work on projects that are personally close to my heart has brought me a lot of positive vibes.
So I wanted to thank you again with all my heart because it is thanks to you that these moments of physical and mental respite were possible during these last months. Thank you for your immense generosity which prevented me from sinking even deeper. I truly consider myself lucky to have a wonderful community that enjoys my work and is always ready to give a helping hand. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me through this ordeal.
I also plan to gradually get back into drawing silly green, big fluffies, mighty beasts and posting brand new content at my own pace. I also have some Hrothgars to draw as well.
So brace yourself for new drawings. I deeply hope you'll enjoy these future upcoming creations!

Help Needed / Life Updates

As you probably know, I'm not really used to writing journals, but certain events I've been dealing with for too long now unfortunately force me to keep you updated on certain things.
Even if some of you already know:
January 2024, on my birthday, my mother was diagnosed with a very aggressive cancerous tumor, an extremely rare tumor. She was able to undergo surgery, and following this difficult operation, which lasted over five hours, I came very close to losing her. Throughout the year, she had to undergo a difficult experimental chemotherapy protocol given the rare nature of her cancer. As misfortunes never come alone, other serious family problems erupted in my little family and occurred one after another throughout last year, which was extremely difficult for me to cope with. I tried to hold on as best I could, continuing to offer you content and my services, revealing to only a handful of people the problems I was going through, the constant stress that was gnawing at my stomach and greatly affecting my work. We lived almost day by day because the protocol was experimental, and even the doctors couldn't predict the effects in advance.
On a positive note, the end of the year offered us a respite when we learned that the cancer was in remission and that the chemo sessions and the protocol could finally be paused, allowing us to spend the holidays in a very pleasant and joyful atmosphere.
Unfortunately, a relapse occurred in January of this year, which was even more aggressive and widespread. In less than a month, all the progress of the previous year was suddenly wiped out, and we were shocked to learn what the follow-up scan had revealed. Despite the efforts of the doctors, the nursing staff, and a new immunotherapy protocol, it only took four short months for my mother's health to worsen day by day, and we have reached the point where things are at an extremely critical stage. She can no longer walk, she can no longer eat or drink. Everything is done with the help of tubes, but it's not enough to allow her body to fight.
Let's be honest, today the doctors only talk about hours or a few days left before the end. The fight is nearing its end. My grandparents are absolutely desperate, and I know how hard this will affect them.
Since, things have drastically worsened, I have stayed by my mother's side, I have watched over her, helped her with my presence, made her forget all that, just been there for her. Unfortunately, I'm not a doctor, but that's all I can give her: the gentle affection she's given me my entire life. From the beginning, she's been my shining star, supporting me in my life and my projects. It's thanks to this gentle encouragement that I've become an independent artist today. She's proud of my journey, and I've fought hard to show her I'm capable of it. She is and remains my compass in life, my inspiration, the woman of my life.
Now you understand why I've been much less present lately, even though I've tried to stay consistent with my posts. That's the problem with being an artist: as soon as you stop posting, you lose visibility, which is very harmful.
Writing these lines breaks my heart. I didn't write this journal to earn your pity. I think it was time to share what I was going through because some people were starting to worry or realize something was wrong. We always think that cancer only happens to other people, but when it enters your life, it's a hateful and vicious poison that destroys you because it takes away everything you love. With my current work stoppage, no longer having time to work, no longer taking on commissions, things have become very difficult, and my family has advised me for the first time to ask for donations from my community, you who have followed me for all these years. I am deeply sorry to have to announce such terrible news, all so suddenly.
Now it's up to you. Only if you want to and only if you can, you are free to decide whether or not I am legetimate to receive a donation that will allow me to stay afloat. I have a Ko-fi page, Paypal or Patreon as well. This is probably a desperate plea, but knowing that I'm no longer working to make the most of the time I have left with my mother, every small donation will feel like extra time you're giving me to spend with her.

Evolution and Changes

I hope you're well and safe!
The year 2023, in addition to having a particularly hot summer, is a big turning point for me as an artist.
A few months ago, after several years of hard work in the world of furry commissions, I was finally able to declare myself administratively as a freelance artist.
The administrative part is settled, as I now have my own SIRET number (certifying I'm a self employed artist), which is something that I could not have imagined when I embarked on this adventure.
However, these changes don't come without other changes.
I must now pay my taxes again and regularly pay bills to the government (30% of my total salary).
I feel these taxes more and more, especially since I haven't changed my commission prices for 3 years since then.
Over the years I have given the best of myself to perfect and improve my artistic style, as many of you have pointed out to me.
I have always been so supported by this community and I do not want to stop now, not after coming all this way by your sides, and after all the hard work and effort.
To overcome my new situation, taxes I have to pay, justifying the quality of my work, continuing to live decently from my work and displaying my content under no sort of paywall (Patreon is purely support with no paywall content), I have to increase the prices of my commissions.

2021 Wishes

2020 was quite a year, I think everything was said about it and there's no need to bring back this on the table.
Even if some people may say that 2021 will not be better, on my side I prefer to stay optimistic and see the
bright side of things. We all did our best and went through the previous year bravely.
I tried to do my best, just like many other artists, to spread some love and positive vibes and put some warm
and happy feelings in your hearts with my work. Be sure I'll keep that up.

By plane from France to Berlin and apparently lot of french furies will be in this plane ^^

that far, just eating or chilling out somewhere but I always come back in the Artist Lounge

Of course! Events like this EF convention are definitely made to let people meet each others!

Can I take photos of you/with you?
As long you're not directly pushing them on social media, maybe. I really want to stay anonymous

A few if you want, previous years some got me drinks in exchange of a little picture or autograph ^^
For "lots" it might be wiser to go directly to a bar outside of the Hotel, alcohol will be better and cheaper!

I'm a good drinker, my gator character isn't a bartender for nothing after all. However, NO smoke!
Can I give you lots of money?
This question definitely sounds like a trap or something! xD
Can we hang out?
Sure! Depending the moment of the day, during eating time for example or when searching some drinks.

I hope! I mean, noboy told me that I'm a monster of evilness so I suppose I'm okay ^^

But sadly for me, even if I keep things well hidden from you, at some point it's impossible to say that everything goes as expected.
Being a freelance artist isn't that simple. Some of you already know that I deal with some money problems. With some taxes increasing,
bills to pay and some money issues, I feel in a way some kind of ashamed to organize a donation event. Only 1$ is already okay if you
want to participate. By this simple donation you not only help me to pay taxes and live but you also help me to keep uploading my work
for free on FA or Twitter. Avoiding my commissions prices to increase too for example.
Since the first day I shared my work with you I always considered to put my pictures on display for free and always doing my best to show
you everything I created to this day. Why? Because I'm simply happy to share with you what I'm creating and it's always a great pleasure
and very helpful for me to read your feedback. It helps me to improve and that's also my goal. Your donations will keep me, my work, and

UPDATES for 2018

I hope everybody is fine!
Here's a little journal to share with you some news for my general organisation for 2018.
Maybe some of you noticed already, I updated recently my commission infos with new fixed prices and some art changes too, I think it'll suit better to my actual art-style.
The changes are not really enormous and all the prices you can see here are fixed for 2018 and will probably never change (unless in case of a huge havoc or emergency)
I increased prices for some evident reasons. It's pretty obvious now that my general art-style evolved (and in a good way I hope), most of you spoke to me about it a lot
these times. The resolution fully changed since all my pictures are in 5K, each one of my drawings is also available in many versions (Doodles/Lineart/Shadows/Final) for
my commissioners. I'm actually drawing (always with my little finger, I can"t change it ^^ I'm accustomed to it now) on an professional tool, my Ipad Pro in which lot of
money was invested to improve drastically the drawing/picture quality.Because of the picture resolution which improved, I also spend more time and more effort on each
drawing since I consider that each one of my commissioners deserve the best. As some of you know well, I'm deeply involved during the creation of the picture and I try
to do my best to give the best I can.
For 2018, I'll open more often than the previous year, I know some of you were waiting long time before I open again for commissions. Of course, my openings depend of the
actual list and the difficulty of some pictures. Yeah, it's quite obvious that I spend more time on some pictures than others. However, during the end of the previous year and
the beginning of 2018, I managed to do more personal works which helped me to improve my own style but also the way to do it more effectively, which means more fast
without losing in quality.
The new commissions opening is about to come very soon by the way. So stay tuned for more information if you're eventually interested to take a slot.
I deeply hope this journal will not make you afraid, in any case, you don't have to worry nothing will change. I'm always very happy to work and share my pictures with all of you
here on FA. Your warm feedback, comments, messages and notes are always a great pleasure for me to read (and that's why I try to do my best to reply individually to each one
of them) and you can't imagine how much I appreciate your strong support! I'll never be able to say thank you enough for it! It's because of you that I became what I am now.
It's something that I obviously can't forget! Thank you so much!
I deeply hope we'll spend a great year 2018 together! In any case I'll do my best for it!

To start well, I wanted to thanks all of you for your warm support, all your wonderful notes and comments on FA. You're amazing ...and each day, you amaze me
more and more, so yes BIG THANKS for everyone!
As I said in my previous "Major updates for 2017 journal" ( please read it here if you didn't already do it : www.furaffinity.net/journal/8034422 ) I planned
since many months to create a Patreon account that will able to give me a monthly money entry (sadly it's a thing I still don't have actually). Since I still don't have
a job and have to live from my drawing passion, my general money situation is becoming not really good. I still think that my actual FA commissions combined with
the Patreon will be a very great help for me and will be able to make you happy on some points too.
As I said previously, I know some people are afraid of artists going on Patreon, some that become impossible to commission without going through the high cost
bonuses of Patreon. Please don't worry about that, it will not be the case for me. Most of the subcriptions will give you the access to all my pictures in full-res, same
for all the alts and versions (lines / flats - SFW/NFW). Some other subscriptions will allow you to have a discount percentage on commissions too. So, I tried to do my
best to help/reward you in return. Once again commissions will be always be managed on FA as currently, no changes on that point =)

I wanted to THANK YOU lot of my followers and all my friends who remembered my birthday some days ago ^^ (January the 26th)
Your kind presents, drawings , surprises and warm words (some in FA notes too) touched me deeply. You all made me happy at your
own scale each one in a different way and I can't thank you enough for that! =) You are simply adorable !
As I said last year for some who missed that, it's really not bad at all! I'm surrounded by all of you, incredible followers, during all

UPDATES for 2017

First of all, thanks for all your watches and all your very sweet comments ! It's an amazing support!
2017 is finally here as you know (yes, yes, yes) so I think it's time for me to share some updates and announcements with you =)
The year 2016 was an incredible year for me, you were all here to show me your support with warm words, all your notes, all your messages and all your comments!
On my side, it continues to help me a lot and keep up working on pictures, commissions and also to improve days after days, months after months.I have to thank
you once again for this unexpected encouragement ! I'm really happy you like my work and of course I'll do my best to continue in the same way. Never Stop! =)
I also try to live of this passion since as you maybe know, I still don't have a job for now. For this main reason and to make it more convenient for me (since I live in
France) I decided to move my prices from Dollar ($) to Euro (€). It's not a really big change in my commission info since all the number-values stay the same:
(20$ ---> 20€ for example).
Only the symbol value changes. I thought it was a good way to "up" my prices not TOO MUCH. But I really wanted to be franc with you and not do it suddenly
avoiding or without explanations. I wanted to be forthright with you. As I previously told you, it's because of my actual "no job" situation, no help from government
and I want to stay independent with my own money. I really hope you understand this situation. Nothing will change in my art, commissions, all still the same as
previously, I still the same, just I leave "$" and return to "€".
To tell you everything I'll intend to open during the year 2017 (the middle of the year or a little before) my Patreon page. It will be a really cheap monthly subscription.
From the moment I'll have a monthly money entry (sadly it's a thing I still don't have actually), I could lower my prices of my commissions. That seems logical to me.
I know some people are afraid of artists going on Patreon, some that become impossible to commission without going through the high cost bonuses of Patreon.
Please don't worry about that, it will not be the case for me. I do not want to use Patreon like that. Basically the person will subscribe and will have access to all my
pictures in full-res, as well for all the alts and versions (lines / flats - SFW/NFW). The subscription will be really cheap. The only consequence of the Patreon will be
that if I make a enough of monthly money, which would allow me to live well, without worry too much, I pledge to lower ALL THE PRICES of my comms. They will
always be managed on FA as currently, no changes in it. I'll try to create this patreon in the middle of 2017 so don't worry, it's not tomorrow xD
Once again my goal is not to steal people. I hate speaking about money in general, it's not in my nature and some of you who commissioned me knows really well
that I'm a really bad seller xD . I think that furry-art is a good alternative and can resolve some financial problems I faced during the previous year. I really wanted
to be franc with you in this journal and I hope you'll understand. An other more "visual" point, as my art-work improved during all 2016 I think it's also a good way
to start the new year with new solid bases.
Hehe I really hope I didn't afraid you, I wanted to put you at ease the best I could with this journal and be 100% franc with you. I think that a good relation between
the artist and the followers is a relation based of trust and respect. All of you made me grow in this amazing community and I'll never thank you enough for that!
