i'll provide proof if i must!
i just work in retail and buy a lot of art
and then i repost it SO THAT
I CAN GET THE ARTISTS A LITTLE BIT OF MUCH DESERVED ATTENTION!!!
even artists who draw my character as a gift or a prize-
I WILL GIVE THEM CREDIT TO SHOW THEM OFF TO OTHER VIEWERS!!

Posted 9 years agoSometimes I have interactions with people that are just so negative that thinking about them afterwards makes me physically ill! I get nauseous and lightheaded... I really don't like conflict!
I feel like I love being a loner so much because it saves me the stress and unease of terrible stressful interactions with others...

Posted 9 years agoYesterday I got promoted to assistant manager at the store I work at!
I worked really really hard to show that I want and deserve the position for many months.
My boss and I both cried after our district manager told me that I would get the position!
That was pretty funny and sweet because my boss isn't really an emotional person,
but she is one of my best friends!
She really kept me sane and calm through all of the drama our coworkers were creating,
and together we made it through.
She taught me all the things I asked to know and now!
Now we are side by side, running the store together!!
I'm very very lucky!
I worked really really hard to show that I want and deserve the position for many months.

Recycling glass in my state

For some dumb reason we don't have many places that will recycle glass?
It really doesn't make sense to me.
When I spent time in Belgium, they had to separate all of their trash
like ALL OF IT.
They had to put their paper and cardboard in a bag and set it out.
They had to put all their plastics in a bag and set it out.
They put all their glass (this one was optional) in a bag and set it out
OR they could go down the street and put all their dark bottles in the green dome
and all their clear bottles in the white dome.
OR!!
If we bought a case of beer at the grocery store, we could just take it back and put it through a machine which would scan it and we would get money back immediately for it.
Then they had their regular trash that they would put in a bag and put on the curb and it would be taken away, whatever.
However, they get fined if there's any plastic or cardboard or glass in that bag....
Why can't we have a system like that here??
This country is so big and has so much waste, and is supposedly SO WORRIED about 'global warming' or whatever...
you'd think we would have more environmentally friendly ways to deal with waste??
But we don't....
It really irks me....
