Hi guys!! Its my birthday today!!! <3
Because its so close to Christmas time, alot of people are usually out of town visiting family and such and so I dont get to celebrate it much!
In fact- I'm actually sick today of all days! Around 1 am when I began winding down for bed, I caught a really bad cough and fever :( Ricola cough drops are my one and only savior right now, it kinda feels as if Im wasting my bday bc I have no energy to get out of bed - but if you'd like to make my day better I wonder how many Birthday wishes I can get?! :D

Kindergarten started for my son finally, fantastic! Could you believe it though, I sent him with a note and even asked them to call me before school let out so I could speak to someone myself about him (To make sure something wouldnt go wrong, I seem to have terrible luck with leaving my kid in anybody else's care - and so I try to prepare ahead only it never seems to help them ahhhh?!) and they STILL sent him home on the WRONG bus!! OoO""" I was standing at the bust stop and his bus passed me, when I called the school they said "let me find him and call you back" I waited for 15 minutes as they tried to track my son down and I was dyinggggggg. They had sent him on the wrong bus, but luckily his dad walked in as I was on the phone with the front office to fill out some forms for daycare so he managed to just bring him back here to me after meeting the bus at an intersection....BUT MAN WAS THAT ROUGH FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER SENDING MY KID OFF.

Surgery! So the 10th of September this past Monday was also my sons next laser surgery appointment!
Typical stuff, go and check in. Wait a little while then we go back and let him wear his "space mask" as he drifts off. Takes him hourssss to wake up though! Man if I did not get my fill of puppy dog pals and paw patrol though from the television in his room haha!

I do send out a WIP sketch first to be approved - so yes you will be able to get a sample and give input on the piece.

Well guys! I am returning to the community!
It's not really as nice as what I had, but the replacement part will still do the trick for all my art needs! 😁

Now for some of the more shitty news. Looks like I also got my external hard drive ruined in the spill, it was already on it's last leg of life and we did the stupid thing by removing it from the case so that my wonderful mate could work some magic on it the first time it died on me. (I know, I should have replaced it and moved things over...but it's like 100 gb external & it was so much stuff!!!)

What does your external hard drive have to do with anything?
Well, my external hard drive was also labeled "Art" and it had literally every piece of art I've ever done on it so that I could take my work from place to place if I'm out. From 2013 all the way till 2018 I've been keeping my art stuff on the drive >< That also includes any freebies I've gotten or paid commissions.

What do you plan to do?
I'm definitely rejoining the community once again & getting involved again. Not sure if the new replacement piece will allow me to do my original plans I had set out before the PC broke, but I figure we could always try it and see so be on the lookout for those!
Upon leaving, I lost a couple art pieces I was in progress on which were commissions. A few of you also donated despite me saying there was no need, the good news is that I will be redoing anything owed as far as paid commissions go & I'm going to try and also find the time to gift a few to the donors as well.

Also, what do you guys do to keep your art files safe? Do you store them on external hard drives as well or do you use an online storage space guys?
Many thanks to anyone who can help me prevent the external drive failure in the future.

If you've stuck with me for a while, you'll have an idea what all went down over the past 2 years for me & my family but I won't go into it here because I am just tired, the just of it is that life kicks me while Im down and the minute things look better it happens again, all the events were freak accidents beyond my control as well which makes things feel a bit more hopeless blehhhh...

Im not /leaving/ as in I'll be gone forever - but I am leaving as an artist sadly for now because I just dont have the means to do art; aside from traditional; as I just spilled something all over my pc....

I will still lurk; I will still purchase art...
I am sulking hard; trying not to have a meltdown about all that money literally burning away. Also that I spent a year waiting to replace it and finally DID -last saturday xD....then I dumped milk on it, thought it was thirsty :')

Update: After some recommendations from some pc-smart pals, we took the pc into a place to be looked at! I should know something by 4/9/18 afternoon on that.
Apparently, just because its wet it isn't ruined & it can actually air dry out and be okay - but the milk that spilled on it can apparently leave some weird residue that they want to make sure is not on anything; I can short out everything else out if it were to heat up again with the PC running if it's not all out, so I'm gonna let them do their thing.

Just apologizing to everybody for this, Im in alot of pain, my back right shoulder hurts ALOT from my poor posture when I spend too much time looking down at the screen & will be taking some breaks.
Update:
My dad has passed away today, nobody has seen or heard from him in 2 days until he was checked on....Needless to say, it may be a little longer than planned... He was only in his late 40's, Autopsy report awaiting.

Update: Im working again, I plan to have things done by Christmas if all goes well :D Autopsy has not yet come back, but they said it's been completed and are waiting on the labs or tests to come back!
Update: Autopsy came in. He was on seizure medication but refusing to take them. He was a heavy drinker, so he refused his medicine so that he could continue drinking. They say he likely had a seizure but drank too much earlier that day to wake up, & he ended up smothering himself face down.
