I can't believe the entire year has flown by so quickly. It feels like I barely accomplished anything all year. Even though nothing specific was necessarily weighing on me, it still feels like it's been very rough mentally/emotionally.

I recently got a new job, which is great because it means I have a reliable income again, but it also means that I'll have less time for art.
However, I feel like things are generally in a comfortable place now, so I might actually be able to start drawing more consistently. We'll have to see how things go, though.

I still have a lot of commissions/trades I've received that still haven't been uploaded yet (some even from a couple years ago...), but I'm going to resolve to finally get them all up for real this year. I've also finally caught up with my own commission list, so I'll be able to officially re-open in the new year. Thank you so much to everyone who's been so patient with me.
A couple things that I'm also resolving to do this year:
-New reference sheets for Maple, Jazz, and Koni (these three only have minor tweaks at most from their existing designs), and hopefully Robo-Kitty and Ammy as well (these two may need bigger changes)
-Creating a cast of Pokemon girls set in a fantasy world, possibly with "modern day" versions as well (I'm still looking for the right aesthetic)
-I forget what else :(

Last year was an extremely rough year for me. Besides many personal/RL issues, I accomplished basically nothing that was on my to-do list last year, which was already a virtually-untouched to-do list from the year before. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for your support and well wishes. At the moment I'm still trying to get 'back in the saddle' in regards to art and activity. This year hasn't gone at all the way I hoped it would. I'm afraid commissions are still going to be slow for a while, and I may need to take a break and/or draw some personal stuff in between. Thank you all for your incredible patience while I've been closed for the last 2-3 years. I never intended for it to be that long; I've been struggling with anxiety, confidence, and other issues, but I'm finally ready to do commissions again. PROCESS

If you're interested in a commission, please send me a note here on FA, and make sure it contains all the relevant information:
-Quality level (sketch, flat color, etc)
-Character references - clean refs heavily preferred (small nipples are fine); if you must link NSFW refs, please make sure they're marked as such.
-As much information as necessary to understand your idea, including poses, personality, sizes, clothing, scenery, etc. "Artist's choice" is fine too, as long as you can give me a general direction and/or personality.
-Your Paypal email address
-Please use proper spelling and grammar

If I can accept, I'll confirm a price with you. I'll provide a rough sketch for approval, and if there are any changes to be made, please let me know now. Once it's approved, I'll send a payment request to your email and begin cleaning up or coloring (unless it's only a sketch). Minor changes can be made at the finish/color stage, but major ones may require an extra fee. I provide extra 1.5x resolution versions of colored pieces, and transparent BG versions (for scenery-less pics), but you can let me know if you want any custom resolutions. Once it's finished, I hope you enjoy :)

You may post your commissions anywhere you like, as long as you credit and link back to me.

First things first: COMMISSIONS ARE COMING SOON. I've been trying to make myself re-open again all last year, but just couldn't gather the confidence or courage to do so. But I will have a new price sheet and info journal up by the end of the month, and start working on people I've had on the "reserve list" the last couple years.

It's been another year where I accomplished very little. Anxiety (and maybe depression) have been a big hindrance toward progress. Here's a partial list of things that I wanted to do last year that ended up not happening:
- Re-opening commissions (coming soon, but I intended to early last year)
- Updated reference sheets for my characters (only Niko and Rina so far; likewise intended to start early last year)
- Fantasy versions of my characters
- Pokemon characters?
- That "boob shirt cut" meme (and probably other memes that are no longer current)
- Niko's desk and figures
- More suggestions from my suggestion journal
- Graphical ROM hack(s)
- Simple animations (boob bouncing or growth, for one)
- Finish uploading commissions I've received
- More frequent streams (ideally having a regular stream schedule, but my weekends tend to be full...)
...and more that I can't remember at the moment. This doesn't count any of the projects that I mean to do outside of FA, either. I'm really terrible at using my time wisely. Lately I've started getting a little better at sitting down and working on things, but lack of sleep has been another recent hindrance. Hopefully this year will be more fruitful.

Does anyone know who to ask or where to look for Banjo-Kazooie or Mario 64 rom hacking? Is there a specific forum or other hub centered around either of them? I'd like to work with someone on something, but don't know anything about it myself.

I just thought I should make a journal for people to drop suggestions for me, since I tend to have so much trouble thinking of ideas on my own. This is NOT a place to ask for requests or free commissions, and I don't guarantee that I'll do any given suggestion. Any characters involved need to be either my own, or cartoon/game characters that I've already drawn or commissioned before; not anyone else's OCs, or characters that I've only drawn for other people as commissions/trades/gifts. Here's some of the kinds of things I'd prefer to see:

I'm considering doing a sketch stream tomorrow, Friday April 9, probably sometime after noon PDT (3pm EDT)? This would NOT be a commission stream, but rather just a stream to try and motivate myself to draw a little more. But since I usually struggle with thinking of ideas on my own, I wanted to open it up to viewers to offer suggestions for me. The ideas need to involve my own characters and/or characters that are already in the "Other Characters" category of my gallery, not anyone else's OCs or obscure cartoon/game characters I haven't heard of. It could be simple poses, scenes you'd like to see (hopefully not more than 2 characters, maybe 3 if I like the idea), or character expressions/emotes such as https://www.furaffinity.net/view/41372897/ , etc.

Again, these are NOT requests, only suggestions. I'd pick and choose whatever suggestion(s) I like at the time. I'm not sure how long the stream might be, but hopefully I can at least do a handful of sketches.

Apparently Picarto did some kind of update recently, and since then I haven't been able to load the site at all. Streams never appear, neither does chat, and I can't log in either. I've tried on both Firefox and Chrome but it's the same on both? Does anyone know how to fix this? The 'Help' section didn't provide anything. If I can't get Picarto to load, then it means I can't watch streams anymore, and that I can't stream anything myself either :(


EDIT: It seems to be an issue with my VPN? It's really weird, and hasn't happened before, and doesn't affect any other sites either. But at least I can get Picarto to work now.

A while ago I sort of introduced a new character, Koni, who has a very similar appearance and personality to Niko, just as a girl, but I haven't really done anything with her yet (well, I really haven't been doing anything with my other characters either, but that's beside the point...). I guess it's because I'm really not sure what direction to go with her, because I didn't want to portray her one way and then change my mind later? So I thought maybe I should ask what other people might think instead. Here's a simple poll to vote on, and you can vote for multiple options if you think there's more than one good choice. I'll take the results into consideration, even if I don't necessarily stick with the top choice.
