Laptop Dead: Selling Lifers/Designs
Posted 11 years agoMy laptop is totally fried. My IT buddy was able to pull my files off, but the eleven year old desktop I'm typing this from just cannot handle even the simplest of art programs.

I'll be posting more designs as I gather art of my old characters that I no longer play. The ones that were my mains will come with a TON of additional sketches, so $15 is an insanely reasonable price for them. Also, if I can salvage the .fox files for the remappable portraits, some of them will be getting extra portraits! :)
I can buy the computer next month because I have an extra paycheck, but until then I'm just... screwed... and unable to work on any official game development for Furc. I REALLY want to contribute to this project, so any little bit helps!

Possible account migration
Posted 11 years agoI'm probably going to be creating a new account for personal work to split off from the name "Alluvial" for as long as I'm doing volunteer and contract work for Furcadia. Seems only right to keep my work associated with that name more kid-safe.

Seeking Artists: Prepaid Commissions for Raffle Prizes!
Posted 11 years agoI run a fabulous monthly raffle for my Furcadia guild (New Versailles), and part of the joy of it is offering character art prizes to my group members.

I am seeking $10 ish sketch/bust/chibi commissions. I prepay at the time of commission, and names are drawn for the raffle on the first day of the following month. I really love to have repeat featured artists, so I'd love to establish some who would be willing to offer me a monthly sketch commission slot.
I'm trying to branch out and get away from just offering digos in the raffle, since players have responded very positively to character art. Donations are accepted, but I am more than happy to compensate you for your work! My hope is to establish mutually beneficial relationships with artists in which I get reasonably priced commissions monthly, and they get tons of advertising and exposure in my guild. (We run about 40-50 people online during slow hours, up to about 100 at our peak times!)
If this is something that interests you, please note me with your commission information and examples. Artists should ideally demonstrate strong humanoid rendering skills, but plenty of the characters in my guild are werewolves, beasties, and whatnot when the moon is just so. Anthro artists are also very welcome for that reason! :)

I'm winning her over. I can feel it.
once I get these shifts filled, I will no longer be bound to the desk three days a week, but instead will be able to complete all of my administrative tasks. Then I will be able to sleep and also have a life again maybe.
Someday...
I've just had almost zero inspo to get anything done because I've been so tired. It's a problem. Interviews all week. Hhhhhhhhhhhhh.
