We have been under a ice storm warng since saterday evening and I have beed busy this weekend on getting another job. YAY!

Posted 8 years ago**This is a continued journal about the condition of our doggo.**
Of course the day of the appointment she starts to move and act better.
We still took her into the vet and they examined her and said the weather and her fat cells are bothering her legs, and for the rest of her they thing she had just gotten a bad case of some flu bug of some sort.
so our dog is either the biggest baby in the damn world, or it was/is something we are overlooking still.
Yesterday she was so bad guys, she could hardly sit up, her hind legs wouldn't move and if she had to move her hips at all she would drop. Our other dog was just as concerned as us and we were all certain we were going to have to put her down.
I guess not. its all good! HAHA just a wet food diet and some nice slow walks and she should be back into ship shape according to our vet.
Thanks for sticking through this with me guys, I was so worried I was going to loose a family member, but I am thank full for the good news, no matter how ridiculous all this is. XD

just a heads up, we are expecting the worst for one of our dogs, our German Shepard mix has been going down hill fast in the last few days and we are fearing the worst for her.
She has had Runny stool for the most part, but as of this morning she is very stiff in her hip and back legs. she doesn't really want to get up and move at all..
we fear that she might have parvo, but we wont know until hopefully tomorrow, and that's if we can get an appointment.
I'll keep you all updated, because depending on how serious it is, I may have to get emergency commissions.

I've had some thoughts recently and I've been thinking about my art recently. One of the major questions I have include your opinions. I've been concerned about my traditional/digital art clash. with as much experimenting with digital art that I doodled up, I am very wary about uploading it onto here. Mainly due to the fact I am a very strict traditional artist, i'm just worried that if I post digital here as well the traditional will be overlooked. I'm just concerned and worried.
So the big question for all of you.
What do you think? Should I upload both digital and traditional art here, or create another profile for my digital so that this one stays Traditional?
I would love to hear your opinions and thoughts!!!!

Sadly I woke up first thing this morning only to here that one of my older sisters had passed away. I'm in a bit of shock still, so I may not be on a whole lot with in the next several days.
My Friday/Saturday art upload will still happen, I just wont be on for long, nor much.

I saved up a little extra money, and I bought a Laminator and lamination pouches.
I thought they'd be fun to do, and they are popular among Furs.
The badges will be opened sometime next week. I would like to test it out of course.
I'll have a journal up once they are good to go. :D
Also an update on artwork!
All of my art will be posted Friday evenings; it may be Saturdays some times due to work.
If I have free time I'll throw one in on Tuesdays/and or Wednesdays as well.
I'm trying to stay active on here, You are all lovely people.

More. Bad. News...
What could possibly be the cracking foundation under my feet finally broke free and vanished.
My main job. the love of my life and main source of income is closing.
We had a locker in this town for over a hundred years, but its building was moved 75 years ago to its currant position.
Our locker has been around for only 75 years. A good run, but it had many more years in her. :(
A meat locker was the last place I would have ever imagined working at, but now after I have worked there, I can't imagine working in any other place...
The guys are amazing, the fun we had and the shit we got ourselves into. hahaha. Our boss has taught me so much in the year and 4 months that I have worked there. I saw myself grow there as a person. from a shy, klutz right out of high school, to an adult with enough skills that I could almost run the place as a "sou chef." :'D
And, its sad. looking back on the year and thinking this was my first independent job per say. away from home... unlike a Casey's were you know everyone... I honestly planed on being there for at least another year or three.
I was torn when our boss told us the sad news. more sad then worried that i'll be loosing my job! I was sad that our little town will cease to have yet another business fall under, and it so happens to be the closest locker in our district unless you want to drive for 45 minutes to the next closest one.
I was sad that I wouldn't be able to work there any longer...
February 1st the doors will lock forever, and it will most likely be demolished for the bank to have a new parking lot. "That's just a guess me and a co-worker had. I don't know if its actually happen or not."
R.I.P Little Locker. I will cherish those memories, the skills I've learned, and all the jump scares my co-workers squeezed out of me. Update...
Posted 9 years agoHey guys, I'm back at it, but we'll see for how long.
You see, a lot of things have happened in these last two months, a lot that I'm not proud of.
I'm in dept of $3,000 USD to our landowner who is also my brother's dad. a lot is rent and other expenses because my mother's arthridus decided to spread throughout her body when it was only just her arm last year, thus preventing her from working so she quit her job. leaving only me to work at my much lower paid job.
We got behind Eletric, water and soon rent. Luckaly my sister got into a huge fight with her ass of a boyfriend and moved back and got her old job back, witch paysvery good! Thanks to her we have been able to get steady again.
All and all she is planning on moving out soon, and I am picking up yet a third job...
I'll keep you all updated, but just a heads up I'm going to be active on here as much as I can!!

To get started, I have some art on the way!! I know I've been saying this for the past week, but I promise,
a lot of it consist of just regular drawings and not so much colored ones. I just haven't had a whole lot of time to color the ones I want to color.
also, I have changed a majority of my commission prices.

Sorry art has been really slow....
I'm still getting about 3 days of work a week and its been a bit nerve wrecking. haha
I've been working on some pieces in my new sketchbook, and fyi I found my other new sketchbook that I lost Friday, so there is that. yippy!!
But the state fair is finally here, and I can finally have some serenity and relaxation.

i'd be on and posting a bunch more, but I seemed to have misplaced my sketchbook when I returned home from my vacation.
I've been scrapping up what I already have as files on my laptop, but I've been DYEING to at least sketch this weekend.
So sorry for the slow operation,
plus I have a HUGE Pokémon GO addiction and I need help. :'D
I'll try to find it, but for now I'm forcing myself to go through very old sketchbooks and look for spares. (I have a bad habit of doing that...)

Sorry I've been busy planning my VACATION! witch is this week!! i'm going to be gone Wednesday through possibly Sunday..
this is my first vacation I've ever gotten through a work force, and I plan on going out and camping. 4 days in a tent and by a river fishing and grilling!
Sadly the days I have planned are at the start of yet another up coming heat wave, witch is the reason I had to cancel my original vacation in June, but i'm not gonna let it stop me this time!

Both battery and data...
I don't mind it crashing every four minutes, but OMG! I barley got to play two days before I used up what little remaining data I had for the month, and the town I live in is off the interstate by a couple miles so stock day at our Casey's general store takes awhile...
Also my car got a flat tire on Wednesday so I haven't been able to actually go out and do anything!! AAHH!!
I'm Two days behind on The game and I keep seeing everyone getting Beedrills, and pidgeots and I have my starter, "bulbasaur" two Weedles and a rattata. I feel so behind!!!

Posted 9 years agoOkay first off, its 90 degrees fahrenheit here!! its hotter then hell. 32 Celsius for those who use the other system.
Anywho my boss was a dear and let me get off work around noon, and I still really wanted to go fishing since that's all that my co-workers were talking about.
As soon as I got off I raced over to the next town over, go to the bait shop and buy 5 blue gills, bait fish. I race on home, get some poles together and head down to our town's dam.
3 hours later and 3 bait fish gone, I was dying off from the heat, but I have a very nice shady spot so it wasn't as bad as it sounds. ^.^
My river pole starts to bounce hard in the rapids and so I decided to start reeling in when it abruptly stops. Next thing I knew my line is pulling back out and is darting back into the rapids.
FISH ON! I reeled and reeled, and just as I got it out into calmer water, I saw this flathead catfish's tail hit the surface, the thing was huge and I began to tremble with excitement and adrenaline. the turd darts back down and my hook, slips off the damn line!! I sat on the rocks in shock and awe for a good 10 minutes laughing and crying. both tears of happiness, disbelief and sorrow.
I couldn't stop shaking...
After I calmed down I went back to my bucket and took out my last bait fish. a thought came to me as I hooked it on.
"good chance i'll just get another snag, and no one will probably believe me when I go home to tell them. but I will treasure this day forever. "
I casted in, and within a matter of a few minutes my pole gets hysterical in the rapids. my first thought was, "oh great, the current is to strong. I better reel it in just a bit just to get out of the current,"
And that's what I did.
My line got tight instantly, and I froze to see if it was a snag. that line took off!!
I had another fish!
I was much more careful with this one, and I took my time. I landed her and pulled her up to the bank. I had just caught my biggest flathead catfish, weighing in at 10lbs!! doesn't sound like much, but she was a big fish!
I sat beside it and cried. I was so happy.
now im here at home, cleaned it up, and getting ready to have some catfish dinner.
god bless you my boss!!

Me? well I've been great! I went to graduation parties of many friends, crashed 8... hahaha then messed around in down town Des Moines and the fallowing Sunday we impulse bought a helium tank and went swimming.
My weekend was packed but was a blast!! Wizard World Comic-Con of DES MOINES!!!

Its official, I'm going to Des Moines Wizard world comic con this year!
Unfortunately because I've been Laid off from work I can't go all three days... :'(
And I just found out that Billy Boyd, the actor of Merry from "The Lord of the Rings' is only going to be there Saturday and Sunday, and I'm bummed about that. TT0TT
But I'll be there Friday, afternoon. If you are also going and would like to meet, look for a short hobbit like woman with brown hair, a bright orange fox hat with steam punk goggles. :-P

I got the security fixed on my PayPal, so my account is active one more, and free from "lock down." haha
Now I think I just have a few more things to do before I open commissions. I don't know if they need to be done, but...
(I need to link a card, witch is odd. I have a savings account, and an ATM card, so it wont let me link it. :/
(And i'm not quite sure on receiving, and making payments. But i'm sure i'll figure this out quick. :D
So keep an eye out! Sooner or later i'll get this done! XD
