Hello everyone! Who would like the opportunity to try their hand at being a Pokemon Master?

Off of FA I have been hosting a Pokemon RP, which I started several years ago. However this is not some durpy, half assed, poorly thought out fanfiction akin to the ones that pollute the internet. I really put some detailed attention to every aspect of this story. What makes my story different is that you actually have the freedom to do what you want to in the story. You can of course be a trainer and compete for badges, or you can actually join Team Rocket and participate in organized crime. Or you can leave the status quo all together and join up with Nurse Joy to be a Pokemon care doctor, or become a police office with Officer Jenny, or become a firefighter or a Pokemon Breeder or Professor or Coordinator or anything that you want to be.

It is basically the world of Pokemon how everyone would WISH it would be. I successfully incorporated realism into the Pokemon world. First of all, Pokemon can die. If a lvl 100 Gyarados uses Hyperbeam on your lvl 5 Caterpie, it doesn't just faint. It's gone. You also have to account for travel time, you have to eat, and you have to remember to actually train your Pokemon. Also, the RP is easy because there is no math involved. There is no keeping track of experience points or damage. It is just based on writing and keeping track of about what average level your Pokemon increase to.

Also, from previous RP testimony, one of the most popular aspects of my RP is that once a Pokemon learns a move it knows it forever. There is no 'only have four moves' nonsense. Pokemon can keep all of the moves they learn. Also when you begin your journey and get a Pokemon from the Professor, you are not limited to just three specific Pokemon. I have a list of about 95 different Pokemon that you can choose to receive from the Professor to start from. Then, there are more options that are 'possibly available', but only under circumstances of an extremely well written justification for why a trainer should start with a stronger Pokemon.

So getting to the story now, everyone starts off as a beginning trainer. Yes that's right, waking up in the morning, saying goodbye to your parents, rushing off to the laboratory, and getting your first Pokemon to start your adventure. Furthermore, everyone should start off as close to the age of ten as you can. You have to be at least ten years old to be allowed to leave on a Pokemon journey but being any older than that when you are first beginning is supposed to be a bad thing. I mean come on, really, in the Pokemon world would you have wanted to wait? Of course not. The point is that no one joins this RP at like 25years old with all their badges already and fully evolved Pokemon. You get to enjoy having the journey and building up to that point by actually earning it. Also, there is a nice mix of progress levels at this point also so it is the perfect time to join. The story hasn't gone too far but there are some RPers who have their first badge and others who don't yet. So there is a nice diverse balance between both NPCs and other RPers that you can encounter.

Now on to some sad news. Unfortunately, the RP had fallen out of activity for a few years but that was mostly my fault. I had left on my own Pokemon journey in real life, just without any Pokemon. I was stuck wandering around and hungry and just all bad stuff. But my life is back on track now and with a little encouragement from a couple friends I am reviving this RP. There still are many of the RPers from before who are still around so there will be plenty of people to interact with, but I would like to have a few new faces to liven up the roleplay before I really kick start it back into gear again. So, this is why I am writing this now. Writers are needed! Come and join and make this story your own. We highly encourage quality writing. No one liner posts or godmodding, etc...

Crap, I think I'm in shock. I didn't even know he was sick. I was so looking forward to going back and seeing him again. I said a prayer for him welcoming him to a better place. I really can't believe that he is gone.

Ok so yesterday was the second time I went to Prancing Skiltaire and I enjoyed myself. I went last month also and I have to say that both times were a very different experience. Both the drive and the event.

On he way up there we drove passed a catering truck for Hotdog on a Stick! I mean, how ridiculous is that? Who caters for Hotdog on a Stick? The vehicle looked as ridiculous as the idea was lol. Anyways, as many of you know Myojo is off in Japan having a great time so she wasn't there at PS this time. Actually with the exception of my carpool ride I didn't know anyone at PS this time. None of my SD friends could make it and none of the friends I made at last months PS made it either.

I did meet a couple new people of course. I got to introduce myself to Scruffy the Fox who is a very dear friend to another mutual friend of ours. For the most part though it was not as social of an event for me like the last one was. I didn't find anyone to talk to or really connect with until right before it ended, and that was over trying to help someone get a metal sliver out of their foot haha.

Thankfully my night didn't get to end there though. I got to go to Norms afterwards this time which is something that I didn't get to do my first PS. I definitely had a blast there. I was laughing so hard with the group that I was sitting at the table with that my chest was hurting before the end of it. I even ran into the friend again who I made during the end of PS.

Over all it was a very good experience and I had a lot of fun. Especially at the end. Just a fair warning for any of you who know about it though... steer clear of Ken Lake lol.

1. First thing you wash in the shower?
Soap and dirt fall downwards so it only makes sense to me to wash from top to bottom. I do leave conditioner in my hair while washing the rest but I lean forward when rinsing it out.

No. Everything that happens in life is really up to chance, cause and effect, and karma. But God's ultimate gift is life and the possibility of anything. I'll gamble money, time, things, fun, anything IN life but the gift of life is the only thing I would NEVER gamble with. God provides. So no matter what situation you are in, you live in a life where anything can change including for the better. The only way things won't get better is if you throw away that gift.

Scar from Lion King but before he took control. Too much ambition for his own good, too little means at his disposal to do anything for himself, and far too often too overlooked by the pretty boy in the spotlight. Plus we have a similar sense of humor.

... Austin Powers, eat your heart out lol. No seriously though probably back to the roaring 20's. Love the zuit suit look, I'd start a business to survive into today, and I'd be around for the creation of Betty Boop in the 1930's and everything else wonderful in that era.

58. If they were to televise a live execution, would you watch it?
Depends on the execution style. I'm not saying I would specifically wish for something gruesome... but I think that watching a 'death by lethal injection' on tv would be really boring. Don't you think?

59. If you could be the president of the USA, would you be willing to do it?
Yes. But after doing too many things to actually HELP the country I'm sure that some private group would have me assassinated before long.

60. If you could choose the sex of your unborn child, would you want to?
Depends if I already have kids or not. I'd like a nice balance of boys and girls.

61. Would you rather live longer or be wealthy?
Wealthier because the statements, "Money doesn't buy happiness," and "the best things in life are free," are both lies. Yes love, family, children, good health, and friends are more valuable than money. But to have those things you need money. You can't feed yourself or your family if you have no money. CPS will take your children away from you if you are homeless, good health is expensive, no one wants to date you or be friends with you if you are a bum or a mooch. So, I'd rather live shorter with the means to properly care for those I love than live a prolonged miserable life with nothing.

Hello everyone. I hope you all enjoyed your Independence Day and celebrated the fact that we are able to dress up as furs and be our true selves.

So someone tell me how the July 4th furmeet went! I am really bumbed that I missed it. I definately wanted to go but things just didn't pan out.

The fireworks were nice though. I didn't really get a good show because you cannot see them well from where I live but I still managed to see a little. It just kinda sucked watching them alone from home. I think I need to get out more. I'm going a little crazy just being at home all the time lately.

On a cool note, a neighbor had a sparkler sprayer or something. It looked like they were blasting off a firehose of sparks which they were playing with in the street for safety. I had never seen one of those before and it was really cool to watch.

Ok well that's really it for my 4th of July. I hope everyone else had a better time. Feel free to fill me in on your adventures!

Ok everyone, as at the moment I am of course new to the real life aspect of the fandom. I've been a furry for nearly ten years but online only. So no it is time to branch out.

I need a furry head. But not just any will do for me. I am looking for someone who will do a customized design. I am wanting something with a sleeker look, a more natural fit. So any fursuit creaters out there, or anyone who knows a good one please send me a nate.

So it has begun. I just received my first commission artpiece of my fursona. I am totally marveled at it and I look forward to more in the future. I have one more pic commissioned out there for me atm for a different form of artstyle and I have my eye on a couple other artists to experiment with as well. But I will definately be coming back to  amorpheus again.

Hello to all pokefans out there as well as furry fans. This may be posting a little off topic for the site but eh, it's my journal right? This rant is dedicated to my undisputable favorite Pokemon Haunter.

That's right, I am a Haunter trainer. No, I do not specialize specifically in Ghost Pokemon. My lineup is not type specific because I value diversity however my one Ghost Pokemon is my pride and joy. Just to save questions later on though, my final line up is Haunter, Scyther, Kabutops, Ditto, Porygon Z, and Garchomp.

Now as for Haunter, this thing is a demon... almost literally. His biggest advantage is that to combat a Haunter that is truly trained to its full potential is to combat three different opponents! Haunters arms are not physically attached to his body so that gives him the edge of being able to attack from three directions at once. Each hand or the head are capable of casting a Shadow Ball, the claws can use Shadow Punch and Sucker Punch while the head combos with Night Shade or Hypnosis, and he covers all his bases by being able to learn Fire & Ice & Thunder punch as well. That's still not even touching his full capability.

Haunter can turn invisible and there are many moves that have no visual effect to see where it is coming from. So a hiding head using Psychic combined with Sucker Punches can be devastating leaving nothing to attack back at. Now as if this was not overpowering enough, most people know about his Hypnosis/Dream Eater healing combo but there are even worse capabilities since this Pokemon can also use Pain Split for healing as well as a table turner. To top it off, with the Egg Move Explosion all rationality would suggest that Haunter could use that devastating force without causing itself to faint because Ghost Types are immune to normal damage.

Alas, the more terrifying aspect of this monstrosity I have saved for the last... for when night falls or when lighting is dim ghost Pokemon have the ability to make you see anything that they wish. How distracted would you be in a Pokemon battle if zombies were rising from the ground at your feet? How horrifying would it be to see both your Pokemon's as well as your own worst fears turned against you as an invisible force tortures your friend with Psychic attacks before your very eyes and then eats its soul with Dream Eater and Nightmare combos.

What's that? Had enough? Too much you say? ... Never. It is never enough with Haunter. No matter what you do there is always more, there is always another strategy. Oh you say you have a Pokemon who for sure could defeat my haunting friend? That may be, that may be. But Haunter in turn will take yours down with it no matter what you choose and I am not talking about Destiny Bind. Haunter was given the most deadly move in all of Pokemon...

Curse! No not the stat boost, I mean the ghost effect. It is undefeatable. There is no cure for it... There is no way to block or avoid or protect against it... There is no way to hide from it, even switching out will cause it to continue when you switch back again. There is nothing you can do but accept that you WILL be taken down... painfully. >;);

Oh and as for the girl who introduced me to all this... We spent plenty of time together that day. Being a feline I never expected to end up with a canine but it was love at first cuddle. <3

I don't think I had ever popped the mate question so fast before lol but there was just no way I could let this one get away. I couldn't believe it when she told me, the universe must have torn a hole in the fabric of logic when she said she wasn't already taken. I don't know what everyone else's excuse was but I sure wasn't going to be foolish and hesitate on a good opportunity. I put myself out there on the line and she said yes.

So not only have I finally branched out into this world that I should have been a part of in the first place... I am now mated with someone who I am very happy with. I've heard opposites attract but this canine down right makes this cats heart with complete.

This has been long overdue. Greetings and salutations to everyone, my name is Almus Rayne the panther.

At present date, summer 2013, I have been a furry fan with my own fursona for about eight years now. I have only recently joined this community even though I have known about this site for a long time. I am happy that I finally did.

---The Past
I have always had an interest in this concept. Now yes every little boy has that fascination with monsters and dinosaurs and I was no different. But instead of just ogling whatever was in front of me I always wanted to customize my own. So taking to hybrid forms just comes to me naturally. I remember in elementary school there was an Animorphs book (or something like that) which I became fascinated with the cover of. But I never actually read it because the book wasn't mine.

My first sight of a real furry was in high school though. I was a chat junkie just like many kids that age and it didn't take long for someone to introduce me to IMVU which is a chat program based entirely off the creation of customizing your avatar and building rooms for them. It works a lot like Second Life but on IMVU people will actually talk to you whether they already know you or not lol. Anyways, it took me less than a week to see my first furry avatar and I still remember the muscles on my face pulling my eyes open wide as my jaw dropped.

From that point on I was hooked. Now of course the capabilities of what you can do with a furry avatar on IMVU have come a long way in eight years. My first avy -shudders- well lets just said I did the best with what I had to work with. But the look has come a long way since then and I have always been a black panther since the beginning. I am not like many others who have multiple fursonas and I do not change my look on frivolous whims. I am who I am and that doesn't change. So why should my fursona?

---The Present
To be honest, the concept of enjoying my fursona outside of online chatting never really occurred to me. It wasn't until one day at work during our lunch break that it all changed for me forever. There was this new girl they hired who I kind of had my eye on but hadn't really spoken to her yet. I was sitting down with some friends talking about some nonsense as I do when suddenly my ears picked up the word 'furry' from some ones lips across the room. I got so excited that I shot up, ran over almost knocking down a few people (namely my boss lol), and then sure enough there was that cute girl talking about furries. I asked, "Did you just say furry?" From that moment we started talking and she explained to me that there was a dress up fur community spanning across the whole world. I don't know what I was more excited by. Learning about this, or that a super cute girl was the one explaining it to me. It's like when a video game geek first discovers that there are girl video game geeks also haha.

So I do believe it was that very weekend that she took me to my first furmeet. I had a blast! I saw everyone else who had their furs on, some already wearing them and some putting them on later. I liked hers most of all though. I didn't really know what to expect but I had a great time. There was a bbq, people of all ages, we played baseball and I came in towards the end and pretty much helped wrap up the victory for the team I was on. Then just when I thought things were coming to an end, they set up a furry dodge ball game which was awesome lol.

So now of course I can't get enough. I already have someone tailoring a suit for me. I just need someone to help with the head and paws. I have joined FA to hopefully make more friends in the fandom. I invite anyone to message me whenever you wish. I have even ordered a few commissions now so that I can have some better art for my fursona than just my IMVU avatar screenshots. They should be posted up soon.
