Elizabeth Peña passed away a little more than a week ago...didn't even catch it on the news :/ I will remember her fondly for her TV shows like Modern Family and especially her movie roles in Tortilla Soup, Rush Hour, La Bamba, Lone Star and The Incredibles (she played Mirage). She will be missed deeply >.<

holy crap it was amazing! I remember I saw the pilot episode a while ago, but I had a little free time today so I thought I'd give it a try... Every episode was captivating, and by the end of episode 3, I knew that I had to watch the entire season tonight XD I think what I love most about the series are all the subtle (and sometimes obvious) nods to the first Avatar series, of which I was (and still am) a huge fan :D

If you have any free time and are looking to start a new series to watch, I'd highly recommend The Legend of Korra. Along with the new Thundercats, it has become my newest favorite epic series ^w^

...and it was awesome! It was really a lot better than I had expected. I think the music (by Alexandre Desplat) and the great cast (Chris Pine, Alec Baldwin, Jude Law, Hugh Jackman and Isla Fisher) really made the film wonderful. The characters were anything but cliché and there was some wonderful development throughout the plot. Not a perfect movie, but definitely worth the watch and a new fav in my heart :3

So, I'm a big fan of classical music, and one of my favorite pieces is Jean Sibelius' "Finlandia." The ending part of Finlandia was arranged into a hymn (called "Be Still My Soul"), and this one my favorite recordings of that hymn...sung by Libera. Hope you enjoy! ^_^

I haven't given an update in a long time, so I thought I'd just share a few things.

First, a big THANK YOU and *big wolfy hugs* to all my watchers and favers of stuff in my gallery. I am truly grateful for all the appreciation you guys have shown. Really, you guys are awesome! x3

Second, I just wanted to give a friendly reminder that I myself am not an artist, and that all the art in my gallery was commissioned or won from someone else. If you like a specific piece in my gallery, please check the info to find the real artist x3 They're all great artists and it'd be nice to show 'em some love ^^

Third, some of you may have noticed that I'm not giving as many shouts as I used to for favs. It's not that I don't appreciate all of it xD On the contrary, I just wanted to cut down on some of the shouts so I don't clog anyone's page x3 I try to at least thank all my new watchers, so I apologize now if it seems like I'm being ungrateful or if I forget to thank you... Believe me, I love you all very much :3

Lastly, I wanted to say that things have been gettin' a little busy for me recently, so I don't come on as often as I used to. Yet I still try to check my FA at least once a day. ^^ Due to my busy schedule and my poor internet signal, I'm not IM chatting anymore (sorry), but if you ever want to talk, just shoot me a note :D The PM system seems to work the best for my schedule and shoddy internet x3

Today, or at least October 2nd, 2012, is a special day in the world of palindromes. Both 2/10/12 and 2/10/2012 are palindromes! ^_^ I know that this probably isn't really exciting for most, but I find it interesting xP
