Hey, followers! There is an upcoming art book planned by a really good friend of mine and even better artist  bass, titled 'Fluff'!

I've been seeing a lot of art books lately and they're all pretty fantastic, so it's pretty exciting seeing a handful of artists I'm familiar with get inspired and plan their own. I really wanna get it more exposure, so if anyone of you are willing to donate even a dollar, it'd be a big help!

Finally moved out of my parent's house (again) and I am exhausted from spending the entire day unpacking everything.

Day 1 and I can already feel the stress melting away. My home life with my parents was extremely chaotic, always made me anxious.. and finally getting to leave again is almost surreal. I guess it was so bad that I'd forgotten what it was like not to have to wake up every day to chaos? Haha, something like that. But also, I now live with 3 of my best friends, so that's even better.

So, I'm hoping that getting all this stress off my shoulders will make me more productive with art (and in general), since I can breathe now and not get anxious when all my family is under the same roof. I pretty much actively avoided them this past month, even the last day I was home there was fighting. I just wanna feel relaxed and not constantly tense, so this move might be a good thing for me.

Today feels like a good day and I want to draw a special someone something nice :^)

Whether it's a friend, or a lover, or family, who makes you feel genuinely happy?


I've probably said it over and over, like a broken record, how important friends are to me. Sometimes I wonder how life would have been if I hadn't moved here and met the friends that I'd know for a lifetime. Would I have found other friends in another town? Would I have been as close to them as I am now, almost two decades later? Not only local friends, but online friends too. What would've happened if I never met that one friend, would I have ever found my other friends? When I think about it, the only reason I have the friends now is because I met them all through one person. What if I never met them?

I feel like, despite all the crap I've been through, somehow I was blessed with the most accepting friends, friends that I know deep down I'll know until the day I die, friends that I love more than my own family.

The past two years, I struggled deeply with my own self-worth, and even had a mental breakdown to an old friend, lamenting my own existence and purpose, and ended up saying really nasty things about myself I'd never say to anyone, things hidden deep in my heart.

Since then, I looked at many things differently, and began holding all those that I really do cherish and love closely, and do my best to make sure they know what they mean to me. In the process, I kind of built a wall around myself. If you manage to break down that wall, and I start opening up, it probably means you're doing something right. After spilling your guts everywhere, gruesomely and ruthlessly, exposing your heart for the world to see, you kind of close yourself up to others, as to not repeat that mistake again.

In the end, I feel like if there are people out there who can make someone like me happy, then they deserve to have that favor returned, because happiness is an unusually rare gift. I love my friends so much that I wish I could take away all their problems and sorrows and let them be unconditionally happy. You don't have to be amazing, you shouldn't have to live life trying to prove to others your own worth, you don't have to be perfect to be loved.

I kind of went off on a rant and I'm too lazy to keep writing. I just was curious because a close friend told me I make him happy, and I didn't really know how to respond, because I don't think anyone has ever said that to me directly. I know sometimes it's obvious if someone likes your presence or your friendship, but it feels different when someone says it outloud.

I realize that I forget to come back and tell all the people following me and the one's that leave me comments that I really appreciate it all. I love you guys and hearing your words of encouragement, compliments, and everything. Not one word goes unread. Still working on the whole... art problem.

I think there are just so many different reasons that I'm stressed out, not just the art. I sleep fine but sitting down and trying to draw puts me in a mood again. I've also got my own emotional issues that I haven't resolved, or don't know how to resolve. I've even considered just getting away from the internet all together for a little while, because I find myself always feeling bad, because sometimes little things get to me and just put me in bad moods for the rest of the night. It's really shitty, and I just hate it. I hate feeling this way.

This doesn't mean I'm putting a hiatus on commissions, I'm still slowly working on those. School and work just end up absorbing all my time. I sometimes just want a night where I just lay down, listen to some calming music and curl up in a blanket and not talk to anyone. But then I realize I should be getting things done instead. It's just really crappy not having all the time in the world. It's really crappy having emotions sometimes, too.
