General | Posted 13 years agoSo exhausted~ I've been so busy this week with work and school, even on my day off from work I had to go out and do writing assignment that involved watching a local court case. I sit down and want to relax but then remember I have other things I have to do also, I can't catch a break! I just want to lay down and sleep for a day. That's life, though. :[
I came home today and got a Bowser keychain in the mail. And a new set of Micron pens for art. LITTLE THINGS MAKE ME HAPPY SOMETIMES. And I've kind of got a pounding headache.

Portrait updates
General | Posted 13 years agoSo, I think I'm gonna make this a little easier on myself and organize this better. I'm gonna work on the portraits that I owe in groups, three at a time, and keep going down the list until I'm complete. I think this'll stop me from jumping around and doing random ones at a time, and let me get these out in a timely manner.
I have a lot to upload, and a lot of other art I want to upload too. Sometimes I take short breaks and work on personal art or other things too, so I'm hoping to submit some art this week and the following weeks~ @_@
Also, the portrait queue has been updated a little. I still gotta scan some sketches, and such.

General | Posted 13 years agoI went out of town briefly, for only about a day actually. It was kind of shitty, the drive I mean. I hate drives that are 8+ hours. The graduation party was great, though. I think I had one too many margaritas.
ANYWAY, gotta work on some school work, and hopefully I can squeeze in some time to work on commissions tonight. I did draw a few Colors! doodles on my 3DS while I was hone, maybe I'll post them~

General | Posted 13 years agoI saw my name get posted on artist's-beware and it kind of brought a damper on my day, but I was probably asking for it. I can't really defend myself because I don't have much to defend. I know I suck at communication and I've been slacking off a lot.
I have been sending out a few WIPs to people the past two days and was going to upload some personal art, even now I'm currently working on pictures that I owe. This week's probably been the first time I've picked up a pencil and actually drawn anything in months.
I know you're probably all tired of hearing me say I'm sorry, or that I sound like a broken record. I'm trying my best. My sleep schedule is really wonky the past month or so, so that's really something I gotta work on, and prioritizing my time.

I got a part time job the first week of February.. been all workin' basically 5 days a week since then, and I get home tired and stuff. :[
I haven't really lifted a pencil or pen in quite a while. I forgot what it's like to draw, shiiit. Just been too tired to draw :I
I'm gonna be buying a new laptop or computer in March, so I'll actually have my own pc. Hopefully I'll be productive then too. I miss art.

Attention Commissioners
General | Posted 14 years agoHi, I'm making this entry specifically for people who are currently waiting on commissions from me. Yes, I am very aware that I still owe a ton of portraits from some months ago, and I deeply apologize for the wait. It was really stupid of me to overwhelm myself with so many, I'm not really sure what I was thinking at the time. I'm definitely still working on them, procrastination is getting the better of me, and I'm going through that phase where I'm just not happy with my art process, and it makes me lose motivation to do any art. I'm not trying to justify the long wait, that's inexcusable. I want to make my commissioners happy, it'd really kill me to know that a commissioner isn't happy with what I'm doing or why I'm taking so long. Believe me when I say I'm sorry.
I'm really trying to better myself this year, and that means dishing out everything I owe, and expanding my art. I'm not gonna try to bite off more than I can chew anymore, that's why 2011 was such a shitty year for me, because I kept taking on more than I could handle.
Concerning the status of the portraits, I think I've found a definite look and way that I want to do them, so i'm really going to push myself to have something to show for it. Look forward to it! And again, I deeply apologize to all of you for the long wait, no one deserves that. I appreciate everyone that follows and commissions me, I've come a long way since last year, and it's all because of you.

General | Posted 14 years agoRecently, I've been noticing my prescription glasses aren't working as effectively as they used to. Most likely because they're really old and I haven't visited an optometrist in over 5 years. I'm getting a slight double vision with my old prescription, and it's making me uncomfortable because I feel I'm putting myself at risk while driving, etc. Not to mention my glasses are kind of fucked since I dropped them and tried to glue the lenses back on. I just need new glasses in general.
Unfortunately, I'm low on funds right now because of the holidays, and I need some money to take an eye exam and buy a new pair of lenses. I want to do this ASAP, so it means I'll have to dish out icon commissions again. I'll most likely take 2 or 3 batches within the next two days and work my ass off to complete these one after another, not like my last batches.

I will offer few minor revisions to the drawing, such as something being left out, or wrong colors. However, I will charge extra if something big is being changed, such as the perspective or angle.
-Please let me know if you'd like the commission to be finished on a specific deadline for a special occasion, such as someone's birthday
-You are welcome to post any part of the commission on your own page. That includes the sketch, the lineart, and the completed work, so long as you credit me for the art.
