Not great for me.
I won't lie that I've dealt with alcoholism, a busy work schedule ,and little to no drawing. This does not excuse the amount of people that I do owe art or refunds.
I'm in the process of paying off a credit card in collections, which won't be for about a year or so out just because of the amount that I owe (thank you (redacted!))
However. I do wish to pay off everyone or be able to work out soooomething if people still do want art from me.
I think that... in the yearish that I've spent not really drawing that I've come to miss it, it's just because of how expansively physically taxing my life's been that I've barely had the time to actually be able to work on art, but I still have those... big desires to work on art again.
I don't want to spare the bullshit that I've been through, because on a professional level it doesn't truly matter, however in the time that I've been able to take a "break" (mentally and physically, just because of the fact that I've deal with so much mental fuckery that's caused me to really hide how bad my mental instability has been... uh...) WELL.
It's not been great. I've been silent everywhere, minus my twitter. I've been through a lot of self discovery, which made me think if I wanted to come back to this account or not, but I am, because my conscious alone and the amount of people I do owe work to.
BTW. DESPITE ME STILL OWNING THIS PARTICULAR ACCT... I DO NOT GO BY AMANDA/FEMALE PRONOUNS ANYMORE

This job's been one of the hardest ones I've had, not only in terms of just...
Being here.
But everything.
I wake up at 8, leave at 9, get to work at 11, work till 8, get home at 9-10 (depending on when I can get out of work), and then immediately fall asleep.
Rinse and repeat.
On my two days off I have doctors appointments and therapist appointments depending on the week.
The other parts are just doing a lot of chores and such.
I really do apologize that I haven't said anything, especially not in the last months.
It's been a combination of multiple breakups, trying to let go of a lot of past things that've molded myself into what I am today, my mental health faltering, my general health faltering, hospital visits, a suicide attempt, multiple mental breakdowns and just working constantly.
It's a lot of protecting what little of my mental health I have left but.
I've been constantly just thinking "fuck, I owe all of these things to people, and I haven't gotten to a computer to update anyone about what's going on."
I'm going to try to give you guys an update, even if it's just a life update. I hate leaving people in the dark and that's what I've been doing.
Once I'm able to clear my debt I can start doing refunds for those who want it, but until I can clear it, I literally am grasping at straws at any extra money I have.
But for now. It's all.

General | Posted 6 years agoSo currently the following stuffs been going on in my life: There's been a huge downswing of myself actually taking commissions this month
I've been more focused on getting my backlog out and also... getting a job. While I haven't been able to land one just yet, I'm not discouraged!
Also I've been getting out more and walking more and trying to get my health a better priority.
Because HOOOOWIEEE its time for me to stop bringing myself to get worse and worse (where I can, the rest of it's extended to myself getting medical help B3b)
I am still workin on stuff though, trying to plow through my backlog... but from here on out, I'm taking commissions differently.
I'm being more on the ball and proactive with giving myself deadlines, and if I don't make those deadlines I will offer refunds/prorated refunds if the commissioner wishes so.
I still do, don't worry. but I've been focused on trying to get shit DONE before the end of 2019.
2020 gonna be a good year, I can feel it. B)
