It has been brought to my attention that someone has recently tried to essentially steal a character of mine; claiming that they "have permission to rename and claim them."

This is, for one, not cool. You know who you are if you are reading this, and you need to cut this shit out right the fuck now. You have the ability to go out, and make a character of your own instead of trying to steal one of my characters (which by the way, are all essentially part of me. So you are trying to steal me).

I do not have any intention to ever sell or give away any of my characters. If someone spots this going on, please let me know and I will squash that down right away.

I really do not want to be forced to go through my gallery, and smear a DO NOT USE watermark over all the images that I have commissioned artists for, because people don't know how to not steal things. Honestly. I hate those kinds of galleries. Don't make me do that.

On a lighter note, my Youtube channel has over 150 subscribers now. Woo! Yay! Much celebrate! 15% of the way back to monetization again - because for those uninformed, in order to be monitized now you must have 1000 subscribers, and 4000 watch hours in the past year. So, hopes are still up that one day I'll be able to make some money off of this hobby. Got some interesting things planned for this year in Youtube, so keep an eye out!

Trying amidst all the work between actual work and YouTube, to psyche myself up to post the entirety of the art backlog I have (again). Currently writing descriptions and tags for each image to a file, in the unlikely event of FA burning in a fire again when I decide to upload everything. It's just a bit intimidating when its almost 100 images I have to prepare for upload. @_@

With the advent of the new end card system that was implemented, expect a change in our end-slate starting with the next new series to air. Secondly, now that FA seems stable and I have a bit of free time, I will be mass uploading my backlog of art (again). This includes things that I have colored that will go into the folder in my gallery of things I specifically have colored.

And finally, if you are interested in getting art colored, I am going to start accepting color commissions (as long as you have proper permission from the artist to have their art altered).

Price will be $5 for flat colored, $10 for shading. +50% for additional characters, complex characters and backgrounds to be negotiated. Art without a background can have a simple gradient background added for free. Hit me up via FA note if you are interested!

I got kinda busy with editing and work, and just haven't been motivated to post any art because half the fun is the ridiculous descriptions I put on the images. However, I have a backstock of about 40 images to go up, which I promise will start filtering in soon.

We will be uploading a Star Fox Zero episode every day for the next 4 days (as well as today, which already has it's bonus video up). We may even try to squeeze in another session to complete the game, which is really damn fun now that I got to play it too!
My friend   Ennek and my other non-FA-having friend John are commanding the playthrough, and you should check them out! I promise there are some really good moments, as we are getting better at being interesting. Also be on the lookout for the edit comedy. I'm working on episode 2 and it made me chuckle at least for a bit. Promise!

Whelp, the art backlog is starting to hit critical mass, so in the next week or so I'll be doing a mass upload.

In other news, for anyone wanting to check out the YouTube channel I made with my friends, we started up our next game!   llgqpm and I are playing Luigi's Mansion (the gamecube one). As has been the case, our "professionalism" ie show quality has increased some starting with this series. We now have title cards and episode names, and the sound quality is improving as we fixed things in the room and how close we stay to the microphone.

Also, I've been thinking about starting to do color commissions (I can't draw very well yet, but damn if I can color and do simple shading). Has anyone ever taken commissions to color someone else's art before? Do you get notes and then check with the original artist if they are okay with you coloring their art?

If I start doing colors, it would probably start cheap, and I probably wouldn't start for about a month or so anyway. Just trying to see if there would be any interest.

Several of the pics that I end up commissioning are very spur of the moment, or random thoughts that eventually turn into pics (all the alternate Enek's, the Kali tail prank pic, etc).

I would like to field some possible potion ideas that Amarith might use either on herself or others. Maybe come up with a few decent ideas that will turn into commissions later down the road. Moving some of the commissions I've gotten a while back to the main gallery, so I can start using favorites for, well, favorites. Included in each submission is a link back to the original, so be sure to click those links and show the artist you love em more than you love me.

I figured I should at least give a bit of back-story on this character of mine, if people are interested.

Amarith was raised by several others of her kind, but not her parents. She does not know exactly what happened to them, and no one would tell her. They were wanderers by nature, going to many different parts of varying forests near villages and towns. One night, Amarith was caught stealing from an alchemist, who used a potion to paralyze her so she was unable to escape. He bound her and kept her as a warning to those that would try to steal from him. He kept her for many years, over which he applied a serum to her that caused her physical proportions to be as they are now.

Growing very old in his age, the alchemist got more and more lax with what Amarith was allowed to do. Eventually, he felt he could trust her and made Amarith his apprentice. She was quick to pick up on most of his teachings. The alchemists trust in his apprentice grew over this time, as he showed her more advanced potion making. However, one day Amarith was tired of being stuck here with the old man. It was also very unwise of him to show her how to make poisons. With a single dose in his breakfast he was taken care of, and she was free to go do what she wanted to do.

However, she was unable to find her old traveling companions. They seemed to move on from the village ever since she was captured. Being unsafe here with the old man dead, she left to find a new town to live in. After much searching, she found one that was much more accepting of her kind (mostly because the town was filled with gamblers and people who didn't care about you unless YOU owed them money). She proceeded to do what she did best by now, and opened up an alchemy shop of her own. Being the kind of town this was, people would have a want for varying medicines, poisons, or potions of very specific effect. Business was not booming however, so Amarith decided it would be worthwhile to extend her services to include bedding people for cash on the side.
