Some news concerning my "Real Life": Right now I'm in the process of looking for a place where I can do an internship for a couple of months. I've contacted two studios which both work in the animation business. One of them wants me to send them a written application, the other one has invited me to visit them at some point and show them a portfolio of stuff I've done - which means I somehow gotta draw lots and lots of pictures quickly. And you know how lazy I am... >.< so no new furry pictures this month, maybe next month - I dunno. Currently I have no time to work on the trades, sorry, I'll continue next month again.

As some of you might have read in my last journal, I had a meeting with a freelance-artist yesterday who has been doing storyboards for advertisement-companies for more than 18 years now and is a lecturer at a private art-academy. I first showed him some of my drawings (no digital stuff, mainly very old pictures) which he seemed to like, my style looked ok to him. Then I showed him some of my digital pictures, actually he seemed to be really impressed by those - be assured that I'm not trying to praise myself here, (you guys know that's something I never do - usually rather the opposite) - I'm just writing what he said ;)

He suggested I should definitely continue with my digital work. So yeah, finally something motivating since I do now know that I might be able to do some design-related stuff later in life... however, this might mean that there will be less and less furry-art for me to show here since I could never put some xxx-rated picture into a serious portfolio. I'll have to concentrate on other things. Right now I don't even know if I have the will to finish those WIPs I have in my gallery. There are more important things to do now, y'know...
Might this be the end of my interest in creating furry art? Maybe, ask me again in a couple of years...

In case you're wondering what digital pictures I'm talking about - since I left DA I haven't uploaded those anywhere on the net (except for a small forum-community I regularly visit)

uaahh.... ehem... now it's roughly been two weeks since I posted something on FA and more than a month since I uploaded any serious artwork (which was only a WIP as well). Two of the reasons for my absence are:

- A new PC and thus excessive playing of TESIV: Oblivion (if you guys want I can post some screenshots of my Khajiit-Char ^^)
- FA seemed to be offline most of the time again

This thursday I'm going to visit the cousin of one of my father's colleagues. He's working as a freelance artist and does storyboards and designs for advertisement-companies. I phoned him last friday and he said I should bring along some of my drawings and digital artwork - don't expect me to show him any furry porn, though ;) .... so finally I'll find out wether or wether not I should really consider doing something art-related later. Maybe he'll start laughing as soon as he sees the first of my pictures (I actually wouldn't be too surprised if that happened), that would probably not be too motivating and mean I'll stop drawing and start doing something else instead. This meeting is important for me nevertheless since what I really lack is an objective evaluation of my artistic capabilities - a lot of people tend to over-estimate themselves and I have no clue wether I'm maybe even more untalented than I already think I am o_O
Expect a reply to all of the comments you gave me last month and which I haven't answered yet, during one of the following days - provided FA is still online then... Let's see if I get to finish one of those three WIPs I still haven't done... ^^
