Tragic News
Posted 14 years agoI do not know how many of you read my Journals or what not. But a piece of my childhood was lost today.
well, the news of the loss came out.
Over this last weekend a Beloved Children's Author passed away of a heart Attack. Brian Jacques passed away at the age of 71.
I am sure that a good many of you know who he is, but for those of you that might not.
He wrote the Book Series Redwall. A series of Good Vs. Evil in the form of Anthromorphic animals. The Good Guys were Mice, Moles, Shrew, Otters, Squirrels, Hares and Badgers.
While the Evil forces were Rats, Stouts, Foxes, Weasels, and a Wildcat.
There were more species but these are what I can remember.
With character of Martin, Matthias, Mattameo, Methuselah, Tess, Lord Broadstripes, Constence the Badger, and Cluney the Scourge, Slager, Azmodaez, and many more villain names that could be paragraphs long.
These were a part of my childhood, a time that rose my love of reading and created a means to where I wanted to be a writer, He was one of the authors that through his own writings, edged me along to declare I will be an author someday.
He will be dearly missed.

Posted 15 years agoWell, I am going to be a little more active. I am deciding to draw a little more, But it all depends on what I feel like.
I am still alive as well, and frankly after a year without something new in my submissions I better get cracking. I just need to decide what to draw next, hopefully I can do something, and like it enough to show to the whole internet.

Fa Editions: Fake Friends
Posted 15 years agoNo offense, but... There are some people who are getting too fake on FA. They only want posts, comments, or to see how many friends they can get. So let's see who will actually re-post this. This is a test to see who's paying attention. This is a test to see how many people in my friends list actually pay attention to me. Copy and re-post in your own bulletin. Lets see who the true friends are and I think I know who you are... Re-post this if you are a friend... Don't reply... just copy and paste this in a new bulletin as "Fake Friends".
True friends will read and re-post this. Fake friends will just ignore it...
I think all of my friends are great, but i just want to know for sure. If you are busy please just comment, Cause i know that some of my friends are almost always busy doing somthing.
Then again, Some of you i am unsure of...

History Alive!
Posted 15 years agoYesterday,
I got to see two items of awesomeness.
I got to see a B-17G Flying Fortress and B-24J Liberator
Both of them still fly, and I got to see the 17 take off at the end of the day.
I have over 800 pictures combined with my dad and I.
I hope to get some pictures uploaded soon, but.... amazing just to be on them, and imagine being over Europe against Germany....
And a huge windstorm came up, the planes actually shook a little, and it was so fun. They even had mocked up fake bombs on them. IT was very, very cool, and I can't wait till they come back again next year. So very sweet and cool.

Update
Posted 15 years agoWell,
First off, I am still alive, and around.
Second part.... I haven't had that much to really post in the past 6 months, but I hope to get some new photos, or post old photos I have in my computer system. I hope you are all enjoying the February weather... it is snowing again where I am, and it is cold. But that is the spring time where I am.... Snow, snow, warm weather, snow almost melted, more snow fall.
I wish you all a be-lated Happy New Year and a Happy future Year.

Day after RMFC
Posted 16 years agoWell....
It is over and the night after the entire con, and I am finally putting together a lot of idea and information. Consider this my activation journal entry, this site will be considered active and live, I plan on checking this at least once a day.
There is way too much fun there and a lot of people to hang out with to not be commuting all over the place.
Second, my feelings on the entire event.
AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know a lot of exclamation points, but I cannot truly describe all of the cool stuff and great people I got to talk to, and being still new to the fandom, and this being my first Con EVER! I got to meet a few people, from Calamity Cougar to Strill and... Well a lot of people that I cannot remember, I will be posting pictures of the events, mainly the parade first, and go from there. All I can say is that the staff at the RMFC or Rocky Mountain Fur Con was great.
If you see yourself in any of the pictures, or remember seeing a human wearing a conductor hat during the con and talked to him, that is me. Yeah, I did have a tail but still, all I can say is, everything was just amazing and a lot of fun.
American Otter signing off for now.

Day One
Posted 16 years agoWell,
Here we go, my first day on Furaffinity,
I am here and I am hoping to have a good time here,
and hope to upload some of my work that I have, or at least start drawing again, I am more of a writer, but I think drawing is something I can improve at as well.
