FINALLY got a letter from Concord fire. UNFORTUNATELY I have heard nothing useful from them haha. interviews are all next week and I still don't know what day. oh well. I guess they will call.
Also,. GETTING A FUCKIN PAYRAISE #feellikeamillionaire
Armed Guard position should be pulling through. practice shooting quals. are tomorrow and the final Cert. Qual. is Thursday. wish me luck, my manager said if I fail he will beat me....and not the fun way either.
I'm sure I'll do fine.

Posted 11 years agoabout 12 hours ago I got up from the couch and did a little stretch and felt a sharp pain on my spine, level with my shoulder blades. and it's been hurting and aching ever since. no idea what the hell happened. doubt I'll go to the doctor unless it doesn't go away in a few days.
any advice on how to deal with this? been popping 800mg of ibuprofen every 6 hours. and it's still not working

as for me, work work work, had to get a new car, think I went over this a few weeks ago. ended up getting a little dodge neon for like $5200 after taxes and tags. had to pull another loan, but, it Is what it is.
ON THE BETTER NEWS (which I may have told I have really forgotten since I have told like ERRYONE I know it)
I have not ONE but TWO professional fire departments (was three but I failed the mess out of their agility test cause I was a dumbass and didn't get any sleep the night before)
anywho, one is like 30 or 40 minutes away and the other is well over an hour from where I live currently, and BOTH im expecting around anywhere from 28 - 35k a year.
which would pretty much solve my financial issues for the next like, forever.
I CAN GET NICE THINGS
AND PORN
AND COOKIES FOREVERYONE
but yeah my best friend was all like "yeah concord fire starts rooks out at like 35 to 40 grand a year"
kinda taking that with a grain of salt until I pass the agility tests, interviews and HOPEFULLY job offers!

this job search suuuccckkkkssss.....it seens most of the fire departments arent going to be hiring people for a couple months. I CANT WAIT THAT LONG... GUUUHHHHH. they need to just start hiring now. T.=.T i REALLY dont wanna go back to the factories, but it looks like thats what im going to have to do.

Posted 11 years agoWell ended up getting the boot on tuesday from my job. Huzzah for unemployment! I "wasnt a good fit for the position" even though they went on and on about how much of a great employee i am. whatever. time to move on. I really have no idea when I will be able to get another job. Ive already got my unemployment benefits claim sent off so, i should be able to get a weekly supplement to pop into my dwindling bank account. maybe 100 bucks a week, just enough for gas and some change to bank for further emergency funding. well, thats that.
ON THE BRIGHTER SIDE:
Applied to a local fire station near my house and was talking to HR when i asked about my certification, because i havent received any paperwork in the mail yet. I wanted to know if they needed it now or could pull it up somewhere. So she ended up printing off a copy of my state transcript and gave me a copy
Which means: I AM OFFICIALLY A STATE CERTIFIED FIREFIGHTER!
which is pretty exciting. i REALLY hope a department calls to pick me up soon, i wouldnt really care if it was part time, ill just go back to like walmart and work part time there, i KNOW they would be more than happy to barely give any hours *laughs*

Posted 11 years agoYet another reason I have a shitty relationship with mom and dad: we share no common interests...I try to start up a conversation about something interesting its either dismissed immediately or I get bitched at about how it doesn't matter or pertain to anything.
If it doesn't involve God, politics, or current world affairs...it doesn't matter...politics though interesting are a devoid of any enjoyment because again...my political views tend to clash with my parents ..leading to the bitching and the "you've got to be kidding me" *chuckle and that look like I'm some sort of dumbass*
world affairs though they can be interesting are almost always the same..*someone or some country did something stupid or radical and suddenly everyone gets into a world wide "whose penis is bigger" pissing contest.
and God...I like talking about God. if it'd one thing my parents do right its giving good spiritual advice (and that's as far as Ill go into it because if I go further I'm sure some dumbass will get butthurt that I mention Christianity (oh the inhumanity.....) and bitch about how I'm forcing a religion on them. anyway...anyone else run into this?

I keep having wonderful ideas for comics of Mera and my other lovlies. bit I can't bring them to fruition. this is why once I move out .pn my own and can finallymanage more time for myself I'm gonna start training myself on how to draw.
anywho. one of these days I'm gonna be able to afford a comic or two.
General Ideas (mostly comedic)
-Phantom of The Opera role reversal
SWTOR: Sith "YOU KILLED MY SON YOU MONSTER" (had this one planned for a while cause that inquisitor quest made me cry....but I got shinies!!!!)
The Gallagher/Meraxes Blackmail Saga (won't go into detail cause wanting that series to be hush hush)
The Mask Chronicles (mayhem and mischief caused by a team of Gallagher, Mera, Xanth and a hyooman...*cough cough* a representation of mah hyooman self...should be fun but a VERY long and expensive project)
I have a few more I'm cooking up. these range from single page/multiple panel comica to full length page after page comics...I'm wanting The Mask Chronicles to be a lengthy web comic ...but that will be a long while off
blehhhh. well...that's my journal for the day...off to the land of beer popcorn and The Blacklist

dunno if I mentioned this. I ended up getting a new job. working at a lumber mill running a saw and stacking wood. (lol I play with wood) about 50 to 60 hours a week.
fire school is going well. I've kinda made up my mind on my life's career path. tonnage Firefighter obviously. but then I'm going to get EMT, then take the 13 month class for Paramedic and continue on after that to get a Bachelors of Emergency Medical Services.
I'm pretty excited. a profession where I can help people! AND I RIDE THE BIG RED TRUCK! *squeals like and excited child*

She said I should totally go as Ash Ketchum...I'm definitely considering it. Sooo I wanted to get other cosplay ideas (that won't break my bank) that are similarly epic.
