I've been looking everywhere and can't find a pattern for spike, either free or purchase-able. I tried making my own but I only have limited sewing experience. I think I did ok with the body but I can't get the head right.

I was wondering if anyone has modified a pacifier/dummy before and could give me some advice. Basically I've got a plain Nuk5 and want to put a different shield on it. I did goggle it and found a few methodologies.

These first two I either couldn't get to work. Maybe I'm just not that strong but even using a knife (and yes I got an owie so be careful if you try it) I couldn't get anything to separate on a nuk or mam paci.
