General | Posted 2 years agoFor nowon, I'll devide commissions into 2 Categories:
The Larger Works, which included The Colored, The Colored and Shaded, the Sequences, the Comic Pages and the Character sheets
and
The Smaller Works, who are pretty much Pencil Works, Black and White pictures and Coloring Commissions....
PRICES ARE UNCHANGED!!!!
It just allows me to do more Smaller Works along side Big Time consuming stuffs instead of Constanstly doing Big Works one after the other....
Since indeed, I will now only have 3 Spots for the Larger Works and will only free a spot when it will be done and paid, while I'll have in paralelle 5 Smaller Works spots that, logically, will be renewed/freed more frequently....
That way, I kinda hope to avoid, well... Huge gapses of Empty Void between the releases of Larger Works....
So for NOW, Only SMALLER WORKS ARE OPEN!!!

-After the first 5 Edits/Changes in the making of the picture, each edit/change will now cost an Extra 10€!!!!!
- But most importantly.....If I dont feel confortable with what you are asking, I will NOT do this drawing, no matter how much you offer.... I try to keep my work "mostly SFW " .....mostly....
I'm okay with hyper, Macro, muscles and some others.... but I'll only do what I feel confortable making and will flat out REFUSE to do some of the most "exotic" stuff out there like Quicksand, Feets and stuff like that! NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU OFFER OR BEG!!!!

Small Update Thingie

Just letting you know that I am not Dead; I am still working on my commissions; dont worry!
The issues is that I am REAAAAAAALLYYYYYYYY F*CKIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING SLOOOOOOOW....
Very sorry about the wait you may feel...
I guess "Slow and Methodical" is how I do things.... even though I somewaht envy those you can do some many commissions in a single month WHILE STILL having great quality!!
But I still wanted to post a lil journal to break my Radio silence...
I am okay, even with the Big Summer Heat ( was never a Summer guy to begin with but Global Warning REALLY DO NOT HELP!!!) and some Mental issues...

But I wanted to alter a lil bit how I organize my Work...
So for nowon, I'll devide commissions into 2 Categories:
The Larger Works, which included The Colored, The Colored and Shaded, the Sequences, the Comic Pages and the Character sheets
and
The Smaller Works, who are pretty much Pencil Works, Black and White pictures and Coloring Commissions....
PRICES ARE UNCHANGED!!!!
It just allows me to do more Smaller Works along side Big Time consuming stuffs instead of Constanstly doing Big Works one after the other....
Since indeed, I will now only have 3 Spots for the Larger Works and will only free a spot when it will be done and paid, while I'll have in paralelle 5 Smaller Works spots that, logically, will be renewed/freed more frequently....
That way, I kinda hope to avoid, well... Huge gapses of Empty Void between the releases of Larger Works....

I hope you are all doing okay....
Me? I could have been better.... Been a lil while I have some "Tech Issues" with my PC...
It's taking to the point I will need to bring it to a PC Repair shop....
For now, I have NO IDEA how long it may took or even if it will fix my PC and basically, I will probably not have a PC for a short while ( might be a few days or even more)...
So basically, if you dont hear of me for a while, THIS will be the main reason....
I apologise to the people who where waiting for more content from me....

Bad News: Well... I checked the exact date of WHEN the Lunar Calendar New Year suppose to happend and yeah.... chances to make a piece for it are small than slim....
On the plus side, it also happend to be my Mother's Birthday!
I'm no statistician but I think that had a small chance to happen so I'll try to mark the occasion well!!!

Taking part of a « Big Project » that may be reveal soon….

News Friends….
It really feels like, even if it isn’t all easy, this are all steps toward something better…
That I finally moved to a New Chapter of my life and finally got out of a dark phase I was somewhat stuck in since the Death of my Brother…
I mean Technically speaking, I suppose I mostly snapped-out of it some years ago but for somereasons, 2022 was the moment I made the biggest leaps forward for the better…
I was kinda stagnant until then…
Like I said, felt like I took very long staring at the same pages for a while before finally flicking to the next Chapter !!
It feels both quite nice and yet a lil scary… But deep down I know it’s for the best !
As for my art, I know I didnt posted much, between the moving, « the Big Project » and other issues but I suppose this is the price of all the changes happening in my life all at once…
I’ll try to be more productive in 2023, making more commissions, maybe even re-doing YCHs and other sorts of thing…
Now, I dont want to make it a « New Year Resolution » !
Heck ! I kinda dont really want to call them « Resolutions » !!! I heard that saying it like that put more pressure than necessary and make you quit/fail easier at them…
So instead, let’s call them « Intentions » !
My « Intentions » for 2023 !
So the First One, like I just said, would be to be quicker in my art, since I’m quite slow to say the least….
My Second Intention, would be to get back into Tabletop Wargaming…
I have very often mention my wish to start making Warbands/Troops for Warcry, Kill Team and some others and with last summer’s release of the Warcry Core Rules for Free with the new edition AND my Gaming Club wanted to expand their Tabletop Wargame activites, AND all the new stuff that got/will be released in Warhammer and co, the Time seems ideal !
I was planning on Mostly using GW miniatures , even for Non-GW games so to keep a coherency within the scales and look to the miniatures but if I can find other Minis in a easy way that are somewhat close to GW at least in scale, I would use them…
That kind off lead me to my 3rd Intention….
I want to Game-Master (or GM-ing if you prefer) one day !!!
I recently got more into D&D 5e with some new friends and I was quite nice !
In the past, I were more familliar with Pathfinder 1e and Call of Cthullu but I started to learn the Lore and the Rules of the game and I liked it !
Looks like a Game that would be not to hard to start GM-ing ….
…Even though I do plan on GM-ing the Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay game ( ANOTHER reason to use Warhammer Minies to GM !!)
And yes : One dream I have would be to GM a Roleplay game and using Miniatures that I would have done for the all mapping and such !!!
Off course if wont be cheap but would be amazing to do it !
I was even thinking to maybe share pictures of said miniatures and models in my gallerie if anyone is interested…
Off course, In general, I would also like to maybe do more pictures than just Commissions, maybe do more experimental stuff, or some spontanious ideas… I feel like I dont to enough pictures for myself anymore…. Would be nice to do that BUT STILL making commissions….
I mean who knows ?....
That’s the all thing when the Year come to a close like this….

My Christmas Eve went well and I got myself some 5E D&D Books For Christmas ( among others)...
The "Monsters of the Multiverse" and "Tasha's Cauldron of Everything"...
I may develop this more in my End of Year Journal but I recently got into 5E thanks to some friends in my Tabletop Gaming Club...
Even played a bit of "Descent to Avernus" , even though I missed multiple cessions..
So I kind of also make this journal to ask the D&D 5E players who watch me what additionnal book would worth while to get, especially with those rumors about a 6th Edition coming soon....
I heard "Fizban's Treasury of Dragons" was quite worth it but I dunno much about the rest....
Any recommandations?

Updates Before Christmas

I just wanted to give somewhat of a small update in a journal BEFORE Christmas/Christmas Eve so to NOT share some "Vibe Killing" news that could be fixed before New Years Eve - with Luck- ....
So I wanted to get those out of the way so to be Properly Jolly for Christmas!!
So...
I am still making commissions but, Clearly, "The BIG PROJECT" delayed my work considerably....
I am still try to catch up a piece or two from Month back and I still hope to finish it before New Year Eve...
Kinda worst still, the Creator which commission me that "Big Project" still didn't openely revealed it to the public so I cant show what I did during all that time....
For me, who has a tendency to always justify myself, it's a lil bit frustrated to not being even allowed to shared what I worked on so much during this summer....
Hopefully, it could be revealed soon...
Also I have some Tech issues with my PC that I hope to fix before the Christmas Vacations ends....
This is what I meant about getting them out of the way before Christmas/New Year Eve!
Because I didnt want to spoiled the good vibes and more postives news I most likely share THEN but those issues are still bugging me NOW so I felt I had to make you aware and apologise for it.....
I mean due to all this delay, I'm not even sure I will be able to do a "End of Year's Summary of Art" thing I like so much to do around the new Year...
I was even hoping to make an hommage to an old Fan-Comic I drew on the Forum of one of my Favorite French Comic Book artist years ago since 2022 was the 10th Anniversary of that old Fan-Comic!!!
Off course, I have some better news that I plan to share but I felt it would be more fitting to do so for either Christmas Eve/Day OR the New Year Eve....

I FINALLY finished that big stuff I mentionned Long ago and I am Re-opening Commissions!!!
Altrough due to end of Year stuff and make up up for the long time with new stuff,
I'll priorities the Pencil Works Drawings and the Coloring Existing Drawings Commissions....
Technically, you can STILL Commission the other kinds of commissions I takes but I will do Pencil Works and Coloring Existing stuffs first, thos it may take longer....
And Yes: I did started a Fully Colored and shaded commission for Regulus62 but was interruped by that "Big Project"....
Sorry about that, mate!
It's also a reason why I'll not take much other stuff BESIDE Pencil Works and Coloring Existing Works: so I could make up for that HUUUUGE DELAY for their art!!!!

some small update first.... that big ass project is STILL not over!! ( very sorry)
But Commissions will come back this month ( even if it will probably be Pencil Works Commissions).....
Because, see, I am a perfectionnist.... that's why many of my commission ( especiaally my inking) takes so long .... and because of this, I feel like I need an alternative way to have more revenue....
But I dont like the idea of Hiding my drawings/ content behind a Paywall....
And I'm pretty sure YOU dont like that either....
So I thought of something....
I did shared that I have a Ko-Fi Page....
So maybe let's make it more like Unlockables/StrechGoals/Sidequests/whatever....
So Instead of hiding stuff behind a Paywall, what about make so I'll do additionnal unplanned works if I reach certain Goals?
Like here's what I have in mind....
