Something From The Heart
Posted 2 years agoThis is what I've been thinking about for the year of 2024. Which is, that...
It's a chance to gain new perspectives. On pretty much anything that's of interest to you, or otherwise totally new to you, and then some. To elaborate, and this may sound blunt), or maybe "too corny" to some people here— but, it may actually have some decent amount of significance to some of you.
You see, we've all experience various forms of change in my lifes: some are good, others bad or tragic, even ones that are overwhelmingly eye-opening... But, that's true for everyone. The stormy moments, hard times, or those harsh crushing periods in life, they don't last forever— in fact, there not meant to be the end of our journeys, or our passions. Turns out, those moments can be like motivation for us to get back to or even start slowly with our true passionate gifts.
Like, for people who (for a living) make videos or clips for YouTube, TikTok etc. They can be epic to watch, whether simple or complex in content; and even really inspiring too. I've seen a lot of artist and writers around here and in other places, take their time and build their skills and talents with practice patience, and encouragement from the community and through the years, they've gotten better and faster in their pursuit of their dreams for their craft.
But that being said, you should always let yourself get stagnated in doing the same thing. Ive found that creative people need to give themselves time to try new things; to change things up a bit after a certain number of years. Some artists I've seen here and there actually try to re-create a whole new platform somewhere else—or— just take their time and revamp their account(s) they already have...
Anyway, what I'm trying to say, is this; how ever you spin it, don't let one or a number of set backs get you down this year or from last year. I challenge you to take your time, and try to see those moments as a new beginning. Like an opportunity for a setup towards some newer versions of what you've done, or are passionate/interested in doing.
I like to think that I've learned enough to say that, when bad things happen—or—are taking place in our current lives, it can often times be a way of slowing us down, so that a something better can come about. Changes are occuring in us all; but maybe they just need a chance to start. I like to believe that the unexpected can often be beneficial for us, and our lives— giving us the ability to look at what others may be in need of; or maybe, have been trying to work towards themselves.
