A tiger's Birthday

The Anahi is Sad.
Posted 14 years agoYeah... last journal I posted I mentioned my ferret... Da Weasel having cancer. The vet told my mum 3-6months.... well that didn't happen the way I had hoped.... I was gonna go see her on Tuesday as she lives with mum. that is also not gonna happen. She passed away today. My mum was there literally holding her little hand as she slipped away.
But here is a little clip of her when she was being her happy, rambunctious annoying self...
RIP Weasel I will always remember her as the panty stealing, marshmallow hoarding ankle biter she was.

Updates & crap... mostly crap
Posted 14 years agoSo here we go a decent update.
MY ferret 'Da Weasel' has cancer. She is still living with my mum and is still a hyperactive little fuzzball. She's still doing good and mum is making sure she is spoiled absolutely fucking rotten and has all her meds and what not. She's an older ferret so 50/50 for surgery.
Right wrist is too fucked up to draw anymore... ever.
Seradhe and I will be going out of town next month. We need a trip together. Seriously.
Work has gone down hill, I am no longer in the manager training program because thundertwat is back at the store.
Also. If you all have made it this far into the Journal. I will probably be adjusting my watch list as well as my messenger lists. Frankly it is easier for me to cut a few people out of my life then it is to keep them in it. If you are having thoughts as to why or if you think you are on the list to be cut, Note me.
Also. When I tell people I want them to be happy with me in their life or not. stop questioning this; I mean it. It doesn't mean I am gonna be all happy sunshine and rainbows, cause it still hurts when you open up to someone only to have them dump you on the wayside not long after. But as long as they are happy, I can put on my happy face and deal.

Personality profile
Posted 14 years agoI keep seeing this personality profile and decided to give it a try.
Upbeat
You enjoy being around others and others enjoy being around you. You have a "live and let live" attitude; because you know that no one's perfect, you are forgiving and happy to give the benefit of the doubt.
You don't feel the need to be controversial or express contrary opinions all the time. You see no reason to go around rubbing people the wrong way.
Aesthetic
You appreciate art, beauty, and design; you know that they are not superficial but absolutely crucial to living the good life. You have good taste, and you're proud of it. Those with a high score on the "aesthetic" trait are often employed in literary or artistic professions, enjoy domestic activities — doing things around the house — and are enthusiastic about the arts, reading, and travel.
You don't think it's pretentious to be moved by art and beauty. You're not one of those who believe it doesn't matter what something looks like as long as it does its job.
Innovative
You come up with a lot of ideas; if one doesn't work out, there's always another waiting in the wings. You often have interesting solutions to difficult problems. You're practically a one-person brainstorming session.
You are less interested changing the world than in dealing with things as they are. Unlike those who spend all their time trying to solve problems, you prefer to zero in on things that work and stick with them.
Intellectual
You are thoughtful, rational, and comfortable in the world of ideas. People find you interesting to talk to. You're the living embodiment of the saying "You learn something new every day." In general, those with a high score on the "intellectual" trait are employed in such fields as teaching and research, and are enthusiastic about reading, foreign films, and classical music.
You do not avoid abstract conversation, experimenting with new ideas, or studying new things. It bores you to stick to the straight and narrow of what you already know.
Friendly
You would rather hang out with others than spend time alone, and you'd far rather be doing something with your friends than just sitting around. You're happy in a crowded room, club, stadium, or auditorium.
You're not a private person who is ill at ease in a group; you don't view excessive socializing as a waste of time.
Assertive
You behave in a confident and forceful manner, take charge of the situation, raise your hand in class, stand up for what you think is right, and lead others. Among those who have a high score on the "assertive" trait, many have jobs in which they are valued for their organizational skills as well as their talent for supervising others.
You are not interested in fading into the woodwork, leaving everything to fate, taking more time than necessary to accomplish a task, or avoiding confrontation.
Warm
You have a genuine interest in other people. You're a natural host, and are always thinking about how you can increase the happiness of those around you. When friends have problems or are in trouble, you're usually the first person they turn to for aid and comfort. Scoring high on the "warm" trait suggests that you are among those who enjoy domestic activities — doing things around the house — and are enthusiastic about charitable work, helping others, and making the world a better place.
You don't always say exactly what you're thinking; you don't like the idea of causing anyone pain because of your criticism.
Organized
You like to think a task through before you embark on it. If it's the slightest bit complicated, you make a list (even if it's only in your mind) and methodically work your way through it. When you have a goal in mind, you're not satisfied until you reach it.
You are not one of those people who ignore the details, and you don't understand how anyone can get anything accomplished without thoughtful planning ahead of time.
Introspective
You like your own company; you're a very interesting person. Tracking your own mental processes, knowing what you're thinking and why you do what you do, is important to you. Often, what's going on in your mind is more compelling than what's going on outside. For the most part, those with a high score on the "introspective" trait enjoy reading, taking long walks, learning new things, and other solitary activities.
You are not someone who is constantly looking to be among a group of friends; you never feel bored when you are by yourself.
Creative
You are good at solving problems, coming up with original ideas, and seeing connections between things, connections that most other people miss. People with a high score on the "creative" trait often are employed in such fields as finance and scientific research, and enjoy avant garde and classical music as well as literary fiction and scholarly non-fiction.
You do not shun abstractions and concepts in favor of the concrete and tangible.

Et tu Taco Bell
Posted 14 years agoSo... Steve the asshole manager who wanted to boink my tiger quit last week... I have been telling the GM for a long while now that if he didn't like the managers he had start training me... as I end up running the fucking shifts anyways.... Figuring out what food to prep and how much of it, Doing drops on the registers, figuring out who gets breaks and counting down drawers at the end of shift... Well come to find out that they have either already hired someone who is going to be training to be new shift manager or they are bringing in someone from another store to fill in the blank so to speak.... But nope.... The Anahi is not gonna get a promotion.... She's getting passed up yet again... Fuck you taco bell...
Kunt was the manager tonight.... he tried to raise shit about me asking to make a quick phone call... He ended up taking seven 10 minute breaks during the duration of my 6 hour shift. The only other person to get a break was a closer... and he took a 45 minute break... fine whatever don't care... I asked to be let out a little early because I really don't like having to walk by the bars on the way home (Yes I do have a knife on me when I walk .... doesn't make t that much better...)
Tonight... they let out the two 18 year olds so they could go to a party... Regardless of the fact that I had nicely asked about it before hand and hadn't been a whiny ass little bitch (The male of the two 18yo) The fact that this little shit for brains father is buddy buddy with the higher ups means he is the golden child of the store... He patted one of the female cashiers on the butt and said 'nicely done' and has not and probably will not get into trouble for it.... Why the fuck hasn't he been fired yet.... oh yeah.... the golden child... He's flat out said he wouldn't help with any of the cleaning because he refused to do 'Woman's work'...
After the two were let out.... Kunt disappeared again with the line worker to have a smoke... leaving me and the other cashier alone... with massive orders... to handle... by ourselves...
am two steps away from coming in when the GM is back and telling him he can fucking go to hell for being so oblivious to the things going on in the store...
Oh yeah and almost forgot... last week the thermostat read 99F(In the back) & 85+ (In dining room) all evening long for 3 days in a row at least... there is no air circulation in the store... we cannot bring in fans.... It's easy to get dehydrated because we constantly run with the bare minimum staff and can't always get a drink... a few of us had minor heatstroke....
So yeah... that's what's going on... Also my main comp took a shit and died so had to use the old tower....

.... So a fun thing while I was at work....
Posted 14 years agoAlright tonight was interesting... working hand outs for a while while the boss man (i.e. Eric) was taking a small break to eat. Anyways our newest cashier was up front and she is 'Lil Miss perky' well we had a pair of buddies come in and they are ordering at front as I am handing out an order and I notice that she is "Subtly" trying to get my attention... She thought they looked odd and all I could see from my view was one of them had an awesome looking hoody... So I walk over there and she's like, "Look at them.... they look like they are like some freaky ravers" At that point I noticed a tail... Then my mind got going a little thinking could they be furry? I thought nah not my luck... then I noticed the other one.... and I saw another tail... At that point I was like ya know what? I gotta know now. So I told the front cashier I'd be right back and walked over to the drink station and in my nice open way of asking questions went "This might sound a bit odd but.... Are you guys Furry?" The one grinned and right away went "Yes!" my first thought and words were 'Oh thank god," So a little chitchatting and what not and well now will stalk said person on FA and yeah... brain is not completely working right now but that was my night. ^^
