So that time of year again everyone, well what a year for me it has been, especially with all the things I've done thus far;
I attended my first furry convention of Confuzzled
I won 2 major Intermediate tours on the golfing circuit.
I'm a published writer.
I won an award for my Irish Poetry.
I got surgery 3 times.
I appeared on television 5 times.
I have gained so many furry friends over the internet from many countries.
I chose to do my PhD in Neurosurgery and Proctology
With all that going on it is easy now to see why 2012 really did fly by.
But enough about me. I want to say thank you to everybody here and abroad for all your support and well wishes via twitter, and on here, for the hard times, and for the good times.
All of you have been an inspiration, truly it's the best thing I will ever see in all my years. I have made great progress in my English, thanks to the furry community, and also made strides in my confidence too. Still pretty shy though.
None the less I want to say to you all, my friends an your families, that I wish you and yours the best an brightest Christmas.
I also wish all of you to get what ever you asked "Santa" for this year. I know times are tough. I honestly hope that you get (even if you been naughty) whatever it is you need. Or some form of way to get what it is you need this year.
I also wish that your new year is full of open opportunistic moments like this year. Hoping that you will all in someway lift a glass of your cooled "festivities" and say "Sláinte" just for the criac of it.
With all that I want to wish anyone in the month of December, a very big and warm Happy Birthday. This time of year is so wonderful that it is a joy to celebrate such an occasion at such a magical and especially fuzzy and fun time of the year.
So I again wish you and yours all the luck of 2012.

Graduation Day!

Today the 7th of November, I graduated at the Victory Center in TCD. With a Masters in Proctology Science (MPsc). I would like to thank my sponsor. Dr.G.Huffing for her lovely speech and her time my thesis was on
"Laparoscopic cholecystectomy in the day case Doppler guided Haemorrhoidal Artery"
She said today at the presentation.
"It is with great honor, that I get to offer a innovative student, with a Masters Degree., his hours in and outside college, inspire others, and himself with the bug called learning. If anything is to be taken from his research in the subject of medicine is that of his incredible ability to deal with the harsh climate he's endured these last two year.
I ask of you all to stand for and for the president to have the honor to present him with the Masters in Proctology Science"
Little embarrassed by that but she was my sponsor after all anyway I am now with more letters after my name. I could not be happier..

PhD Progress
Posted 13 years agoAnalyzing the first month of it would be like trying to explain M- Theory to a child, very tedious and overly complex. None-the-less I will try to explain the journey thus far;
In the weeks of college I've had, I've been given the task to open a new "Clean Room" in my college, a research facility for Science and Medical Personnel only, as of last year "Clean Room" time was seriously sparse to come across, you'd almost have to cue just to sign up for a spot. Research last year, in not only my field, but many fields has increased tenfold.
Paper released last year "Anthropological Brain Waves and ID" was all about investigating through the "Clean Room" technology, though I found it very hard to get any time here at all. This year however, I've been blessed with opening the new one. So not only am I given top priority if I want to use it, I also get to assess those who want to use the facility, and all must come to me for access to the room.
I've never had that much power before, but I will gladly take that advantage to aid me in this journey.
I know I need it.
With that, I also had the luxury of taking the time off to introduce the students of first-fifth year of medicine, into the hell-hole that is a PhD. Although I didn't use those words, as I was promoting the colleges research facilities. Also the importance of education in today's economy.
I found the more I talked about my current papers, the more I understood, how each group analysed and adopted the concept. Some may not have wanted to listen to me, but in general. The reception was good. My lecturer of last year said with confidence that;
"You should present more things about us, as I have a way with words"
This was a compliment but with a tiny twist, she wanted me to present my course in college at the open day in 13. I had to decline, I have way to much on my plate, and next with along with my graduation which will mean no Eirtakon for me this year. It will mean even more delays on my end.
I have tried to get into the motion of finishing a page a day, that's slow and steadily going down the drain. As i feel the work load I have now is just an onslaught of writing, so my temperament to write more when I do get home, is...Well... I get lazy... Plus I have my first big publication due in December so I have to work a lot on that.
I found out maybe this year again, i'll be celebrating Christmas at work.
Because I need the hours due to the 5th pay-cut to my salary in less than 12 months. I find it hard to believe... But the government here still find ways to take my money. I don't see a future here anymore... Since that moment...I won't complain though.
I mean the kids of Darfur got nothing on me right (lol)
Alas, I know I made the decision, and even though I don't regret that I made the right choice, I wish I had more options on the decision rather than a Catch 22....

PhD Student/Stuffs
Posted 13 years agoWith the college season underway. I've been rather pre-occupied with the choice of doing my PhD. After completing and pretty much acing the second master. I am still some-what nervous about the choice of doing it. In my own words,
"I really rather do it now, and risk the financial loss to be paid back, rather then not doing and risk losing all my assets to unemployment, due to the current economic climate"
The head of my department is worried about where this PhD may lead me, as the more I move up in the world (i.e amount of letters after my name) the more daunting it is for a future employer to even assess me. In his words.
"I'd really consider looking abroad."
Which will become more inevitable in late October after more budget cuts come in apparently according to the news. Will be one of the worst budgets ever.
Which does not shine any more light on a dull and dismal situation regarding my choice to do this course has meant projects and stories are all temporarily going to take longer to be written and even if written may not be submitted.
Alas, i guess a ranting rhino should not rant on too long
The upside
I get to go back to college make some more friends, hours aren't harsh but make for very long weeks including my work hours which now go forward to after college.
So makes for more time out of the house meeting new and old friends and catching up with them.
Gives me more time to analyse my current situation here in Ireland, and furthermore may or may not help with the aboard decision.

Surgery Completed
Posted 13 years agoHey guys cheers for everything and for all those who wished me luck in the surgery on Wednesday. I got out of hospital this morning. Bandages are back on but that won't stop me. Unfortunatly I won't be making Nom Con (an anime convention) on Friday due to work. But I will do my best to attend the weekend and that is something i strive for. Bandages or no.
But again I really feel so glad to know you were all behind me. I'll take a picture of the bandages I got, and can say, my back feels better of course still can't bend over with the stiches in but none-the-less the show must go on.
I will be taking on a project and wonder if your interested to follow along the lines of the poetry book I wrote for
kuma there will be places for grabs.

Muscle Replacement Therapy
Posted 13 years agoDue to a certain creature of the night, and yes I am still unsure of what bite me, on this my 5th time back to the hospital for my 11th x-ray in a week. I found i will be getting muscle replacement therapy to replace infected and swollen tissue in my back to stop the muscles (which have been infected from swelling further).

And The Winner Is....
Posted 13 years ago"Séan O Mearnáin, took his A game on the first two days at the European Association Golf Championship to another level, with an average of two brilliant 67 rounds (-5) days. Séan started the campaign on the Beech Park golf course with a bogey. From there Séan's campaign to win the title looked flawed, until hole 9, a surprising turn of events in terrible conditions had him leading a pack of players despite for the same result. From here his second day was all good, with a turn around of the same performance on the front 9 was nearly repeated on the back, except for an unfortunate drop shot on 18 was a damping end to a good day.
Séan seamed pretty out there 3 shots ahead of any player, until Italian golfer Ben Zlotti, shot a 65 round on the third day. This brought Zlotti's score to -10 too. Séan walked out onto a the first tee, as Zlotti just walked off the 16th green with a birdie for 5 consecutive birds in a row. Séan had a lot to prove, it seemed like pressure got to him until a hole in one on hole 12 rocketed Séan's dismal day to a good one 69 score (-3) was enough to secure him a 3 shot lead over his closet competitor Ben who came to play with Séan today.
The weather yesterday really summarized Séan day a grey start and a scorching blast by 4 o clock, the first two days where persistent rain, and the last day, quite good throughout. Overcast but at least the sun shone some.
That was not the total best thing about Sunday, on the brink of a cut German golfer Zrone Ummel came to flourish with the best day of the championship 63 (-9) day put him on (-7) for the day, too little too late, but he said;
"I learn a lot from this performance, and if this is played at my home, I'm assured to do better"
However it was Séan's day to celebrate Ben scored a 70 round (-2) and Séan assured the win by hole 9 after dropping a shot on hole 7 secured a 2 stroke victory over his Italian counterpart.
Cobra celebrated on the 18th hole as Séan was on his knees, I think prasing the lord for the beautiful victory, a quote from the quite exhausted champion was;
"This was, and I can say this honestly, just a real shock to the system. I've never been told or wished as well by friends and family in all my life, there courage and support boosted my ego. I will have to complement my competitor for holding up that pressure, he was truly tough competition. But alas I am so chuffed right now, my sponsors have kept me on my feet for so long, I would not be here today without the aid of all the friends I have though, I am truly excited of how well it got around medians and stuff, just how good to me everyone's been. Cheers guys."
Séan overall total of -14 is one for the record books not because of the score because he is the only Irish golfer to have achieved this twice Padrig Harrington in 1990 was the last Irish golfer to play in this championship.
This competition will certainly throw up some talented players and next year, I hope I see the sun"

Confuzzled Confessions!

With what happened at CF well i can barely even start with words. Because, there is no word for just how good this was. The staff, the suits, the weather, the parties, the change of character (i'll try to explain) and well of course the 800 plus people who made it.
I meet so many people, it would defeat the purpose to make a list of who I meet.They were all so warm welcoming and friendly, I finally after being a furry for so long attended I think the best one I could, it rocked my socks (my feet are killing me, so much pounding running and dancing was done (and no I can't dance, it was just because i had 2 (i know right) partials for the event, talk about confuzzling people.
(yes i made that joke))
If I dare say, this is or neigh was, the best thing I have ever done, in my entire life, it really help me wind down after the exams (lets leave them there)
I just want to say that everyone I meet was so nice to me, so many others where in the same boat, and that helped.Because they where all just legends, every last person was helpful happy, and best of all huggy.
People say that all the speculation would of ruined it, all this waiting since i signed up, rumors ran wild and of course twitter caused some drama (enough said on that). But they where all dead wrong, the hotel was exstravogant, the staff where always on hand night and day, and the friends I made , and even just the people who I pumped into really made my con all the better.
Having a friend with knowlegde of the con really helped too, giving me heads up of how suiting works
As everyone I meet knows it was my first con and my first time suiting, so i was really nervous about it, he really reassured me, that they'll love it.
I think the funniest thing was people and my accent.
Unfortunate for some my flag caused a lot of thinking the most unusual one was the;

Posted 13 years agoWhat I think you should be watching and where or when you can watch them. 2012 has brought myself a lot more series I can really involve around from Anime to Documentary TV. The best shows from either side of "the pond".

Fairy Tail Series 3,Episodes 129 Status- Hiatus
A Japanese Magnga series brought to life by Tokyo Tv & Funimantion. You'll follow a girl called Lucy on her mismatched adventures through a guild of wizards called Fairy Tail.
Ouran Highschool Host Club Series 1, Episodes 26 Status-Completed
Haruhi Fujioka is a poor girl who earned a scholarship to gain entrance to the prestigious Ouran High School, where family prestige matters first, and wealth second. A fun-yet classic representation of the rich kid life seen through the eyes of an honorary.
Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood Series 1, Episodes 64 Status-Completed
Two brothers lose their mother to an incurable disease. With the power of "alchemy", they use taboo knowledge to resurrect her. The process fails, and as a toll for using this type of alchemy, the older brother, Eric has as traumatic event .

Death Note Series 1, Episodes 39 Status-Completed
In my opinion, the fandom that this series has created is quite surreal, sorry to fans of the story series but, I just don't think if your going to write my name in a journal so it can kill me is creative. None the less I won't say that the series shown on Tokyo TV. This being another Japanese creation was bad.
But it's hard to follow, at times the editing is either to fast that the beautiful drawing can't be admired, or at other times, it looms and lurks around the dullest scenes, Episode 1 really drags at times.
But I digress, why would I not recommend it?
1 Fan base told me too much
2 Fans ruin everything
3 Look at other Tsugumi Ohba he is very good writer, just fell short.
So sorry fans of Death Note, But to others, avoid at all costs my 3 anime above should hunger you if you've yet to see them.
On The Box
The Killing Series 2, Episodes 23Status- Ongoing- Channel 4 (Ireland & Britain) 10pm, AMC 9pm
America's adaptation on the classic Danish series Forbrydelsen. The story brings up the question "Who Killed Rosie Larrson"
The american version has taken a long winded approach however its in captivating although I really don't care about Rosie anymore, which might be a bad thing the television series keeps me glued to the seat the deep enthralling reality behind a setting in Seattle has made it more realistic to me, the idea of Linden and Holder who search frantically.
However Forbrydelsen will ruin the ending but its hard to follow, I don't speak danish and sometimes characters get confused or tossed into the mix Forbrydelsen however has moved on, and have revealed who killed Rosie, but after much watching of it I won't say if your a fan of AMC's version stick it out its worth it Forbrydelsen is a good watch too, for those who don't mind subtitles.
The Walking Dead [Series 2, Episodes 19[/i] Status-Hiatus- Returns in Autumn (Fall)
The Walking Dead tells the story of life following a zombie apocalypse. It follows a group of survivors, led by police officer Rick Grimes, traveling in search of a safe and secure home.
Rick Grimes played by Andrew Lincoln the Idiotic teachers from the show "Teachers" plays a blinder as the lead role.
Based on the infamous comics by Robert Kirkman-Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard
The series is preparing for another season to arrive in September, so I am told. The show will never let you down and the Zombies well they just keep coming.
The show is well shot and set more openly to wider audiences. But alas I watched this show and am enthralled, although Hiatus had me worried and when a show of mine coming up in a later section got canceled a rumor of The Walking Dead being canceled shocked me, because of the popularity of the comic series.
Either or a enthralling watch and read. You won't be dissapointed.
Breaking Bad Series 4, Episodes 47 Status-Hiatus
Breaking Bad revolves around 50-year old high school chemistry teacher Walter White in Albuquerque, New Mexico. After Walter is diagnosed with terminal lung cancer, he turns to a criminal life, and starts producing and selling methamphetamine with his former student Jesse Pinkman in order to secure his family's financial future.
After recent scrutiny over the violence, the shows last episode was aired, but me being a fan will wait a year in October 2012, so rumor has it, this show will be returning although its violence will be more so,
I for one like the beat up brawling tactics the show gives me an insight into the world of mistakes lead to more mistakes.
Its a show of sadness, but yet action packed enough not to make you leave it behind.

Posted 13 years agoThanks to everyone who attended yesterdays pre celebration for Easter we had an attendance of over 14 furs.
12am-1pm GMT
Well I have to say first of all the attedance was a real stellar shock to the system not only did I not know how many furs actually lived here, but just how awesome each and every single one of them was. From past meets its been 6-7 furs and the meets seemed good but we had 14 and a Red Balloon that somehow found its way into the group for 15. And were so cool we actually had groups within groups (a groupseption if you will).
The meet was first of all got off to me leading people to coolock according to google was 16 minutes from dublin ended up being 1 hour and 16 minutes from dublin, so again I apologise for not looking throughly into that but we had planned bowling. Never the less we voted to go back to dublin city and press onward with the meet.
That lead to:
2pm-4pm
The Arcade on O' Connell street where some played Air Hockey and others played Dance Dance revolution, and yes expect furs to find DDR at an arcade. We also withnessed me failing at the boxing machine and breaking it twice ((_)). But never the less on and upward to Steven's Green for lunch.
Where we first of all stole a secret hidden area which we all managed to fit in thanks from SoFox for finding more chairs on that part but also we got to really chat and conversate with each other. I learned a lot from the new furs that had came up for this. It was really nice having that sort of quite time with them. Ending up with some interesting diagrams and very interesting stories.
5pm-7pm
NINJA in the park was hillarious shep getting pictures and people learning why NINJA is awesome got to say it seemed like we had some sort of tactic going on during the game.
We got a group photo outside the park and then it was after this point some of the fur had to leave. But conicidently we ran into a fur called Page 16 furs at one meet was awesome but was reduced to 12 or so on the way to "The Dead Zoo" which of course on Easter Saturday, just past 5 was closed. But we went to the small park from there and some more furs after of course pleanty hugs and waves an of course moar hugs. Was left with 3.
We went to the Shops and bought some good old Captain Morgan's and coke (Tastes like Dr Pepper) and had a good old laugh. Till of course the meet was over offically at 8:15
What did i think of the day.
I AM GLAD TO BE IRISH.
I had so much fun and am already having that big after meet (wish it had gone on longer) feeling.
Of course it was so exciting meeting all you guys there. Next meets in may.

1. How do you feel about yourself?
I have no self confidence at all, so getting a good opinion of myself is quite difficult, I take complements with a pinch of salt and hate doing it. I judge myself harshly.
2. Are you a good person?
Depends on who you'd ask...
3. Do you feel others think the same?
Not to sure others can be that harsh to me (can be proved wrong) but in the case of what I do then; I am not sure others do feel that way, I hope i give a good impression.
4. What if they didn't?
If they didn't like me for who I am, then they find themselves on my bad side.
5. Do you value their opinion?
Sometimes it depends on what the opinion is, but i tend to be a good listener
6. Do they value your opinion?
I hope so!
7. Have you had Cyber Sex?
Yes Yes Yes
8. If so, when did you do it last?
Last night
9. Who did you do it with?
They know who they is!
10. Do you think they mind you mentioning them?
Yes that might be called (copyright infringement) also privacy is essential

Too much about substance but alright behind closed doors

I am not sure. But for the sake of my friends and people who care, i regret the decision

Oh my childhood teddy is that color. I still have it

Sure i would. I like to be a hero, even though its hurt me (long long story)

Harsh but myself, although i do everything to try save them

Not really.

My elder sister, she's an inspiration.
