Its been a rough year, but I've somehow made it around the sun again. Yaaay.

Welp. Thought things were nice and stable and starting to go well. Was looking forward to a nice anniversary day trip in like a week and a half or so. So naturally, fate said: "What if your car suddenly had a massive coolant leak." Guess I gotta fully open comms again, with the caveat that it will be a bit slow.

Welp. Its that time of year again, and this time they've wildly overestimated how much work they're gonna have. So Amazon has opted to schedule me for two back to back 60hr work weeks, mid July. In all likelihood I won't really have the time or energy for much in the way of art, so I think i'm gonna close down commissions and all that for the time being. I'm still grateful for all the likes, follows and comments that I get on all the stuff I publish of course, its one of the few things that keeps me going anymore these days, so it's always appreciated.

Yeah. As much as I wanted to just call it quits and not go back, today I return back to the Amazon grind.

The support and help I've gotten through people commissioning me has been great and I'm deeply thankful for it.

This two month leave has really opened my eyes to just how much Amazon is taking from me, and how stressed and exhausted the work and overall schedule leaves me.

Regardless of how long it takes i really do genuinely want to leave this place and shift to doing art commissions, streams, and maybe patreon/subscribestar and gamedev stuff.

Hopefully the opportunity to do it right comes soon. For now though commissions are still open, and I'm cooking up some simple YCH ideas for those who are interested

Anybody wanna buy another commission or two? Work is still kinda beating around the bush with giving me disability pay, so money is getting tighter for me. We trimmed down our grocery bill by a lot but what I have still has to go toward rent and other bills too.
(also I wanna take my wife out for valentines day. mostly joking on that. also I do have several comms in progress so it might be a bit)

Yeah, life is kind of hurting me at the moment. Effectively out of work for at least the next month or so, and struggling to get disability pay from work. (its a long story)
So for now I'm going to be opening commissions back up, and probably going to start streaming both art (picarto) and games (twitch I suppose?)

I think Im going to leave commissions open for the time being. We're getting into the time of year where there's no work coming in, and Amazon is basically begging people to take time off.

Hey folks. Art and stuff from me might take a bit of a hit soon. Amazon management have somehow come to the insane conclusion that they will have tons of work, and have decided to start up mandatory overtime an entire 3 weeks early this year.

I dont know how much I'm going to really be able to get done with so much overtime and so little downtime.

Somehow I stumbled my way into being 35 today... wheeee...

I don't plan on leaving anytime soon but the new policy does have me wary, since I've done commissions featuring characters who are adults but small. The new policy still seems vague enough that any vindictive mod could wipe my entire account without recourse over a couple of pics. I may wind up taking thos pictures down, should a Mod request it, but as I understand they often aren't responding to queries...

The video link above shows it best, but I've been adding effects and flashiness to the gameplay, as well as fixing bugs and cleaning stuff up. Might not seem like much past previous updates, but it's coming along!

I will probably be looking for people who want to test out the game soon. It's still at the 'playground' phase yet, but hopefully within the next few weeks I should be able to flesh it out beyond that.

I am also debating creating a dedicated discord server for the game itself, since I'm sure not everyone who's interested in the game is also interested in weird porn, and vice-versa, lol

Here's hoping that this coming year is a good one for everybody who reads this, and I hope that '22 wasnt too rough.

In '23 I'm hoping to continue to improve artistically and grow this account, and with any luck maybe make some significant progress on the game development side of things as well. (Look forward to some updates on that as well, I may need some playtesters soon who can give comprehensive feedback)

Commissions will open up on Jan 1st, I'll put out a journal and am setting up an updated price sheet, so expect that soon too!
