I need food, so... COMMISSIONS
Posted 12 years agoSo, being screwed for money has resulted in me needing to open up commissions, but they're going to be weird ones. It's my first time, so be gentle.
Basically, you name your own price you're willing to pay for a story, but I will need at least some of the money up front for 'needing to buy food' purposes. I'd like to keep these stories short (<3000 words or so) in the interest of giving me the proper motivation to finish them in a somewhat acceptable time frame. Having said that, if you're trying to buy a gift for someone's birthday that's next week, it probably won't work out that well. :P
So, we'll give this a shot. I don't anticipate a huge amount of interest, but I need food, so... here we go.
Even if you can't afford a commission right now, could you signal boost this?

“C’mon now.” Hunter’s mom said, helping him off of the changing table. “Let’s go meet your babysitter.”
“Mommy! Do you have to say babysitter?” Hunter whined as he adjusted his stance to accommodate his fresh diaper.
“What would you prefer?”
“I dunno. Sitter? Person who’s going to watch me?”
“You wear baby diapers, pumpkin.” His mom said soothingly, patting his bottom to accentuate her point. “You eat baby food. You play with baby toys. You are, for all intents and purposes, my baby boy. And my baby boy needs a babysitter.” She kissed his forehead lovingly and Hunter blushed. “Mommy loves her roly-poly ball of fluff!”
“I’m seventeen, mommy.” Hunter protested. His mom smiled and tousled his mane, leading him by the paw out of his bedroom, but not before slipping his trusty pacifier into his muzzle. The sign on the door said ‘Hunter’s Nursery’, but he steadfastly refused to call it that. The smell of baby powder followed them as Hunter waddled down the hallway, his mind racing as he tried to figure out who his babysitter might be. He hoped that it might be Vitani, the pretty lioness that he had quite a crush on, even if she only saw him as an overgrown baby in need of a change. But he would not need to meet her, per se, so the identity of this sitter seemed a mystery.
They went from the hall into the living room and Hunter looked around, mane flowing with each movement of his head. There was no one there except for Koda, who was watching television in the same pajamas he had worn during last night’s pajama parade.
Every night, after bath time, Hunter and Koda had a tradition (which their mom encouraged) of doing a pajama parade for their mom. Koda would lead the way, strutting in his superhero two piece pajamas, the only bulges in them from his bottom and other body parts. Then Hunter would waddle in in his footies, usually with Sesame Street characters on them, his entire midsection puffy from his thick Pampers or Huggies. He would suck on either his pacifier or his thumb and Koda usually made him carry a stuffed animal to add to his infantile appearance.
Hunter continued to search for the sitter. Maybe she was in the bathroom?

Posted 12 years agoOn the 15th, I'll be using my day off to go to the pet store and get a ball python. So excited! What are some good names for a ball python though? One of my co-workers suggested 'Pickle' and my cousin is convinced that 'Wilfred' would be a good name... I dunno. What do you think?

1) It is primarily your idea, but I do reserve the right to discuss changes.
2) No copyrighted characters
3) Preferably involving diapers/sissy/bondage or some combination thereof.
4) First come, first served.

Today has not been a good day
Posted 13 years agoSo, first off, one of my jobs called me today to tell me not to come in. A few hours later, I get a call from them that says that the manager who called me was misinformed. She was supposed to tell me to come in an hour later. So, my day off went out the window...
Worse yet, I tried to deposit my check from my other job into my back account only to learn that due to "irregular activity", my account's been closed and I now have to deal with a collection agency for the like ten dollars that I was overdrawn, which would have been covered if they had just waited a day to close my account. So, now I have a check that I can't do anything with because I can't open an account with any bank until I deal with this collection agency, which only works through the mail for whatever reason. I have student loans to pay and a bunch of other things. I can't deal with this right now.
I just needed to vent.

Sequel to Claire's Little Niece and NaNoWriMo 2012
Posted 13 years agoSo, as the title suggests, my planned project for NaNoWriMo or National Novel Writing Month (http://www.nanowrimo.org) is going to be the sequel to Claire's Little Niece that I have been planning since about midway through the writing of Claire's Little Niece itself. The goal of NaNoWriMo is to write 50,000 words. Claire's Little Niece was about 30,000, so it'll be a good sized sequel.
Having said that, as this will be a novel length project, I plan on only releasing it for e-readers and not for free online. I may work out another way of doing it for those of you who don't have e-readers, so any suggestions in that regard would be appreciated. This is my choice because frankly, I need money. It would be the same price as I am selling Claire's Little Niece for, which is 4.99.

Roger did this thing where he talked about himself and I figured that I could do something similar. Here we go!
Let's see, my real name is Matthew, I'm 22 years old and I live in St. Cloud, MN with my older sister. I was born in Massachusetts. I've been to Portugal, where I spent six weeks participating in an archaeological dig and survey of a Neolithic site. Along the same lines, on May 12th, I graduated from the University of Minnesota Morris with my Bachelor's in anthropology. One of my senior seminar projects was titled "The Role of the Adoption of Outside Technology in the Changing Society of the Yanomamö Indians of Amazonia". It was spectacular, basically what happens when an archaeologist tries to do a cultural anthropology project. I hope to go to grad school for archaeology, with a focus on the 18th dynasty of Ancient Egypt, or more specifically the Amarna period.
Ich spreche Deutsch. Je parle un peu Français. I am gaining more proficiency with English every day.
I first realized that I was a furry about 15, at which point I thought of myself as a generic canine of some sort. When I was 16 or 17, I realized that I had been a fox all along. :3 I've been into diapers for about the same amount of time.
My summer beverage is lemonade. My winter beverage is hot chocolate. My anytime beverage is Dr. Pepper. I like to eat pizza, hamburgers, lasagna, and cheesy broccoli soup. My interests include writing stories, conlanging, movies, and just surfing the internet.

So lately, I've felt really disconnected from everything. It's that time of the year where everyone's busy, but I cannot help but take it personally when it seems like people are using their real life stuff to avoid me, especially when they claim to care about more than just my stories, despite the fact that that's all I can ever get you to talk about... Anyway. I am debating taking some time off from writing and just socializing with furs because, frankly, I don't really see the point right now. All it does is hurt me. If anyone wants to change my mind, feel free. Chances are, I'll just delete this in the morning and go along like this never even happened. We'll see what the morning brings, I guess.
Alright. Time for the really self-absorbed stuff. I just feel like I give so much to so many furs, either through my stories or just lending an ear when they need it. I've stayed quiet about the fact that I rarely even get any recognition from them for this, but I'm getting tired of it. I am a living, breathing person, not just some machine that produces stories and sympathy when you need them. I just feel unappreciated, like I'm being used.
Anyway, I'm not even sure if anyone is going to see this before I delete it in the morning. I just wanted to express myself in case the universe inspires the right person to see it, whoever that might be. *shrugs*

So, I noticed that I haven't written any journalness since July, which I decided needed to be changed, seeing as I'm finally done with finals and all that. Let's see... still working the same dead-end job. Um... just dumped white hot chocolate on my leg. Ouch! (I'm journaling pantsless, so...)
The real reason for writing this is because after a year's worth of work, Claire's Little Niece will be posted on January 1st. Holy sh*t. 2012? That can't be right. Anyway, it's a really long story (30k words or so), so I'm debating releasing it in parts, especially since it may not be completely done by then, so parts would allow me a wee bit more time.
In other news, I'm having some personal issues right now revolving around gender identity. No, I'm not transgender, but I'm pretty sure I'm some variety of gender queer. It's a natural extension of the sissy stuff that I like, but in some cases, I wish I could just wear normal girls' clothes and not just overly sissy stuff. I'm not a crossdresser either though... hmm... more on this as it develops, I guess.

Basically, I want to gauge interest in this idea. I will be attempting to write a story that involves puppy play and will most likely include my most frequent topics: diapers and sissy. Over a hundred people are watching me on just FA alone, so hopefully someone will show some interest in this. If you are that certain individual, please comment below expressing your excitement for this idea. I can't be the only one, can I? ;)

RIP Brian Jacques
Posted 15 years agoBrian Jacques, the author of the Redwall series (as I'm sure many are already aware), passed away over the weekend. His novels were one of the deciding factors that made me realize that I am a furry, so it's sad to hear of his passing.

Posted 15 years agoYes, as of tomorrow (Nov. 18) I am going to be in a van, on my way to Georgia for the weekend.
