**ROOM NEEDED FOR MIDWEST FURFEST 2016**
General | Posted 9 years agoAnyone attending MFF2016 looking for a roommate? I am currently in need of a room to stay in as my original arrangement has been completely botched. Long story short a 'mistake' occurred and I was left without a room to stay in for the convention. Most if not all of my close friends already have full rooms and so Im reaching out publicly for assistance with this.
I'm open to any hotel that's close by to the Hyatt (or the Hyatt itself). Im a very quiet, patient person who mostly needs the room for sleeping and suiting up. I will also respect any wishes made by the owners of the room (ie private time, ect.).
If you know anyone or can help yourself, please send me a note about the details. Thanks a TON in advance =)

Does anyone attending Furnal Equinox have spare space in their room for someone? I was put in a situation where my original AND back up room plans soured completely, and ive been left without accommodations. Long story short I will not be able to attend FE 2016 if I can't get a room..
Ive already taken time off, paid for my badge and put money towards fixing up my old suit and making a new suit to debut at this convention. Basically ive sunk a ton of effort and prep into going and it would devastate me to not be able to go. I mainly need this room to sleep, bathe and suit up in; as i will be in other places throughout the con. Im pretty quiet and willing to accommodate requests (ie 'private time' : 3) if you need them. If there aren't any beds, no worries; I have a blow up mattress and pillows/bedding in that event.
As for room payment, let me know what I owe and we can talk out when I can give it to you. Im also not very picky on who's in the room at all. Like really.
Please note me if you can help a fellow out; I'll appreciate you SO MUCH for saving this convention for me! Ill make you a gift or something thats how desperate I am. Feel free to link this journal or spread the word btw if you don't have a room. ~Thank you~

General | Posted 10 years ago I've been pretty in-active here lately and i do apologize. A lot of personal stuff has come up and I've had to deal with it. I may open up for commissions if anyone's interested because i have like no money , i got an OSAP grant but my parents took it all. Plus most places arent hiring with all the University and College kids coming back so I've had no luck. I'll post something more formal later but I'd be game to open up a bunch pf badge/icon slots if anyone's interested.
I may also have to cancel a few conventions as a result; Fan Expo may be my last convention for the year, I may have to skip MidWest (although that's due to room issues, i dont wanna crowd up the room more than it needs to be), Youmacon and ConBravo. I'll be at as many free meets as I can but i can't guarantee anything. But for now just expect me at Fan Expo Toronto in September.

Whining aside im hoping on posting more art and fursuit things, i have some but im too shy/anxious/whatever to post 'em hah.
Hoping to maybe sell off some designs or YCH's since i have like maybe $5 in my bank account. And finding a job isn't very easy with my class schedule so it would help out a lot (id rather not accept donations or anything that'd feel weird to me tbh). Ill most likely make a journal about it later on when i have stuff finalized.

General | Posted 10 years agoWElp sorry for suddenly being absent after furnel and shit, i got a nasty pink eye infection from my roommate (my college one not those party animals i was with that weekend) so i havent been doing much. Even went to the hospital because the infection got so bad my poor eye wouln't open.
Gross things aside shout out to my new followers and here's some shit for whom it may concern

Why i would never commission a Dony hug Cacti suit
General | Posted 11 years ago I guess this is relevant to a conversation i had with a friend but aw well; basically im thinking of commissioning a fursuit for another fursona of mine and Don't Hug Cacti was brought up.
Now i find their style is adorable and unique but i would personally never commission them; i think their suits are overpriced and you arent really getting your money's worth out of it. I wont deny that some of their work is well done (especially their shaving) but personally they have room to improve. Especially on their head sculpting, as all their heads pretty much look the same to me, just with a few differences.
I also hear they can be pretty rude or unprofessional; this post highlights some of those things as its a few people's experiences with them:

But yeah, i wont deny Lucky has talent. They have a very unique style. but they seem to be a little full of themselves to me. If im paying over $3,000 for something i would expect the best service. It seems more like we're paying for a brand then a quality product, and that's just not right.
As Ian put it; :if you can afford a DHC suit then you can spend that money on other, much better suiters", such as Mischiefmakers (who im considering highly atm), TunnysaysIDK, More Fur Less and a few others i cannot remember at the moment. Hell Clockworkcreature's suits are literally cheaper than DHC's, and they're REALISTIC and RESIN BASED so you'd expect them to be more expersnive. Hate me all you want but thats where i stand UuU

General | Posted 11 years ago Well since i was able to find some awesome red fur, i decided that im gonna make a full digigrade fursuit pf Shiba. Thanks in part to some leftovers from a previous suit commission it'll happen
