Yo, 2021 Status Update

It's been a while. First post of 2021 and that. Still here lurking, but becoming active trying to do the streaming thing. I'm over at http://twitch.tv/MisterRoo if anyone ever wants to come watch. Playing mostly random spattering of games so expect surprises.
Also still working on the design revamp for my sona OC Androo. Every time I feel like I've settled on changes, I make more. Oh well so goes the creative process.
also hope the rest of you are surviving the ills of the viral world situation the last 18 months. I do miss the IRL interactions face to face but, it's for the long term safety and health of everyone. Wear a mask to do your part in nipping it in the bud as best we can.
so yea, that's about that. I'm also looking to get Twitch Emotes made for my channel at some point once I can both find an artist who is open and interested in doing them, but unfortunately I'm pinched for cash so I'll likely only be able to afford 1-3 if that even. Being unemployed for medical reasons these last 5+ years has not gone so well.
Hope those of you who swing by are still going strong, TY for checking in on me, and sorry if I have lost contact with anyone. so goes life sometimes. I am also somewhat more active on Discord and Telegram for messaging services. And Twitter is still there but it's ehh...

General | Posted 6 years agoHope to attend this year, but I've not gotten any plans set in stone just yet. I don't have a room or a place to crash at just yet, and on top of this my car is having issues. I'm also really squashed on cash so if anything I might only be able to make it for a day. I'll post updates here once I get more info and plans come together.

Not much else to say, still dealing with some medical tests to try and find out why I'm super exhausted and so forth...
Been very thankful for friends who keep poking me and try to get me to play games online with them or in person and get me to come visit them and such. Escape Rooms are a total blast.
New Gen 8 Pokemon news is lit! Starters are very simple looking but may surprise us as they evolve. I also firmly believe we are going to start seeing a weird trend this generation where a Pokemon will either look fantastic in 2D art and horrible in 3D or vise versa... Also Wolf legendary pokemon when?
Guess that honestly sums up Febuary for me.

General | Posted 7 years agoWelp, it's January 2019. Time to try and dust this place off a bit.
Goals for this year are going to be kept fairly simple;
1) plan and attend Anthrocon as it is 1 of 2 close cons to me travel wise.
2) WPAFW is likely the other local con I'll try and hit up.
3) see about getting panel approval for either of those to host a late night/over night room for Werewolf style games.
4) Do a revamp of the character Androo (Still keeping the species as a Kangaroo for the most part but might alter a few bits and things...)
5) Aim to post here 2 times a month with some level of updates on goals.
6) Find others in my current living area that are in the fandom and might be interested in things like Game Nights or etc.
7) Find online groups that do somewhat regular game nights for games I have access to play like Overwatch/Fallout 76/Minecraft/Payday 2/etc...
8) Try and become a bit more social by using Discord/Telegram and not being such a quiet in the corner shy roo.
9) Get back into Computer Programming in some way.
10) get my health/weight in check and end the year feeling like I'm more healthy mentally and physically.
So yea. that's the plan. also I've been following a bunch of new people after the tumblr implosion of last year, please bare in mind I may like content that will show up in my like list that may be NSFW or even follow strange kink styles. I also followed a bunch of artists mostly because of suggestions from others.

Checking in late for 2018
General | Posted 7 years agoSup, have not been on here all that often other then when watching a related new artist I find. Been dealing with some personal medical stuff as of late and working on hopefully getting a new direction in my life.
On that note, like the last few years, AC is at the moment off the table but somehow it might end up turning into attending for a day more then likely. I'll also be working at ReplayFX as a volunteer at the board-game area. (Let's play that giant 50 person game of Werewolf!)
On that note, I am slowly getting back into the focus of being creative, and that will start off with a refresh of my OC Androo and then some. I'll be looking once I get some extra spending cash to get some updated art of him with some minor changes to his design.
Also as a reminder, I am a bit more active on Twitter and now have a Discord and Telegram account. (please feel free to PM me if you want to be added as a friend and so forth.) And plan on doing streaming of random games (PUBG, Overwatch, ALttP Rando, Minecraft, Etc...)

The last 18 months have kind of wrecked me, left me out of my apartment, moved back home living in a living room on a air mattress that deflates every few hours. I don't have the money for a badge, the money for transportation, Place to stay at the con, food money, etc.

Being that I am from Pittsburgh and live out by the Airport, I will be down there extra early on Thursday (Or as soon as I can park free.)

What is the best way to find you?
Many different ways! Most common way is to just randomly call out "Androo" or "Smitty" if you think you've spotted me. But I have a tendency to be focused and not catch that, you can tweet me at ArcanusSpellscroll or call my Convention cell (for specific reasons, PM me if you want it, it will only be used over the convention weekend with a special number.)

The Poker Tourney is planned, but I may cut out early as I'm hosting and running the Pokemon VGC Tourney on Friday Night!

Single and not looking. Not that I would not mind having a partner, I just don't feel confident in having someone special until I feel I can... be worth something to them.

Uhh... I'm going to say no to this. silly thing that touching, even hand shakes and hugs. I have have trust in someone for this even in a casual sense. But yea... no touching.

Sure, but it's not just my room. Plus it might be out of the way for most.
Can I give you stuff?
As much as I do tend to turn down kind offers and gifts, I will accept. mostly out of the fact that it's rare now a days that anyone wants to just give me something. Most of the time gifts have been advice and helping nudge me forward, and those are the best.

I hope so... no one has outright told me that I'm a dick or mean angry person. I just want ot forward ahead of time that I may just trail away from conversations and focus for no reason other then being distracted.

Relax, enjoy the company of friends, and not to stress/depress myself or get hooked into drama.
I will be at the Hampton Inn.it is behind the main convention Hotel, a short walk but still not too far. Also Free Parking!!!

Being that I am from Pittsburgh and live out by the Airport, I will be down there extra early on Thursday (Or as soon as I can park free.)

Many different ways! Most common way is to just randomly call out "Androo" or "Smitty" if you think you've spotted me. But I have a tendency to be focused and not catch that, you can tweet me at ArcanusSpellscroll or call my Convention cell (for specific reasons, PM me if you want it, it will only be used over the convention weekend with a special number.)

Just want to say something short for now till I compile all of the information on it;
Anthrocon 2013 is going to have an Official Pokemon League over the weekend! This means you can stop over during designated hours in the CCG/Board game room, come and play the Pokemon Card Game or Video Game, Earn Promo Cards and VG Pokemon, and Try to earn a Gym Badge! All of this official as you can also sign up for a Pokemon Player ID! All of the Above is Free Free Free!!!
If there is interest, I can also run a Booster Draft based on how many are interested for a slight cost to cover product.
