Hi All! If you don't know already, the Hawaiian Island of Maui is currently being devastated by wildfires.


"On Tuesday, August 8, 2023, a terrible combination of drought conditions and hurricane weather led to widespread wildfires across the Island of Maui. Note, Lahaina is not just a tourist town. It is a historic town full of significant Hawaiian culture and was the capital of the Kingdom of Hawaii. Also, Hawaii has always struggled with affordable housing for native Hawaiians and locals, many of whom who are often forced to leave the islands due to the high cost of living. Many who are struggling to live in on the islands are now homeless due to the wildfires.

Hey everyone! I am back from a long hiatus. I'll admit I left for a long while because I lost a lot of confidence in my work and wasn't happy with any results I had. Now I am back, and engaged! Unfortunately I have a lot of debt and need to pay it off before any weddings expenses can occur, which may mean not having a wedding anytime soon. :( So I am opening commissions, and am in very dire need for money, more than I have before.

Hey everyone,

Sorry commissioners, I know I said I'd upload every week and I missed this week. I might be loosing my job real soon so I've been scrambling to job search. With no luck yet. I'd like to apologize for taking so long on commissions. I can honestly say I am working on them bit by bit every day.

This week I was officially hired for a full time job, which requires my attention for a full 8 hours, and then after that, I have extra curricular activities I have dedicated my time to. It's an office job, but it's definitely a huge change. I come home completely tired and I find I hardly have time to work on commissions save a few minutes to half an hour every night. That being said, a majority of my work will be done mostly on weekends.

I will continue to do commissions because I still need the money.

The living situation I am in has gotten a lot worse. At some points I even fear for my life. I need to raise money to pay off my car and then find a more suitable place to live.

So...does anyone else get an irritating note whenever you upload an artwork asking you to skype with them?

I find this happens every time. And I hope it is useless and doesn't do any harm, but it sure is irritating.

It seems to pop up literally the second I finish uploading.

Is there anything I can do about this? Report to admin? Or has this issue already been brought up?

Okay so Point Sketch Commissions are closed until I can finish the first batch.

I'm still in a bit of an art block so I wanna ask anyone and everyone to give me things to draw. They can be anything but requests to draw someone's OC.

Animals? Lions? Wolves? Things I've never drawn before? Situations or scenarios? Anything from normal to fantasy to basically anything you can think of! Be as specific, detailed, or as abstract as you like.

I might not get to all of them but at least I'll get an idea of what to sketch. These will serve as warm up sketches and practice getting out of my boundaries.

I came home last night to find my little rat, Lyra with a HUGE gash on her back D:
It is very deep and about 1 1/2 long. She doesn't seem bothered by it, seeing as all she wanted to do was get out and run around, but I can pretty much assume that it hurts :(
So....vet bills.
