Little Update

How are y'all doing? I wanted to start off by thanking each and every one of you who stop by and leave a shout, comment, favorite, watch etc. These notes and little connections help me feel like I am still part of this community even when I am sick and recovering.
I've been slow on my individual thank you's for the watches and favorites. I will work on those and try to get better. I've also got some cute pending art for the close members of my hareem who have been patient. Ikana, Neill, Anthos, and Clyde - you are darlings and I appreciate you so very very much!
BIG huge shout out to some very wonderful artists and friendlies Saetia - she is an art goddess and super sweet to work with. Art is now her second job so be patient with her and she will make you look adorable! Second shout out goes to SashaTF Oh my goodness this new artist has a lovely art style and the way she makes eyes sparkle with life and her drawing of expressions will melt your heart. Third shout out goes to Shinjii - They have a very unique and lovely style especially with Elves, Dragons, Armor and hair for dayz go give them a look and some commission love too. Fourth shout out goes to Mrawl - Ehrmagerd Mrawl draws the ladies and dem booties like no others. Love maids? Of course you do, then look no further than Mrawl to make those lovely art fantasies come to life! Fifth shout out goes to the lovely Anglish who no matter what will squeeze me in for commissions and save my bacon when I need to get a gift out and fast. She will make you look beautiful and her style is more towards anime and semi realism but it is gorgeous and you will not be disappointed. Sixth shout out goes to Anglish's rl friend Z-afiro, Z has been creating some lovely pieces for me lately and I am really treasuring them. the expressions and accessories and clothing ideas are always on point and the pieces seem to be alive and I just really appreciate the hard work.
These are just a few shout outs to some really talented and wonderful people to work with when you want to commission art of your awesome characters. The next thing I wanted to update you on is more personal. I had to start up Rituxan infusions again and they are rough on my little body. I've also been going through pain management drug trials and all in all it's been a struggle. Don't worry though as I haven't lost that spark of hope and the fight is still strong at this time. Next week I'll have another infusion and then luckily I'll get 4 months off wohoo!!!
So what I've been doing in the meantime is I have been practicing more with acrylic paints and I even was able to acquire 9 hybrid tea rose bushes and got them planted last week. So soon you shall see fruits of my labor ... both artistically and farmerly :3

Twitching Minecraft
General | Posted 9 years agoSo I've been live streaming again and I've found that I have "nothing" to say :O :O :O This makes it awkward for me a little bit. I read stories on teamspeak every Friday night for my friends on EvE and this doesn't phase me at all... so why is it so awkward for me to twitch for you guys ... I enjoy your company and I'm not scared of anyone. I wonder if it is because I haven't been teaching in over two years??? Meh ... anyway I plan on continuing my streams on Minecraft as I work on my village - join me if you wanna <3 <3
Trying to get things to work. . .

Hope all is going well with you. It's already February and time sure is flying. I'm recovering well from surgery and in another two weeks I can start going back to the gym, drive, and resume normal activities. So YAY!
However, this last week I caught something and have a nasty infection to top it off and it sure has made me pretty miserable. Hopefully these antibiotics will take care of it soon and I can get back to stirring mischief. One thing I have truly missed is painting. Since mid December I haven't painted, drawn, colored... it's as if I put my everything on hold.
I admit I was scared to death and freaking out. I knew I would fight and make things difficult for any bad stuff to try and take me down and out. However, I am human and I have weak moments too. Depression, anxiety, the winter blues etc. etc. was a very real and fervent companion.
I want to paint again, the desire and the pleasure when I look at my paint brushes still fills me. Which I think is a good thing and a sign that I am back to fighting and getting better. The biggest thing that I have struggled with for over a year now is getting back to twitch streaming and gaming. Granted a broken headset and microphone does put a damper on things.
I've used it as a crutch and excuse to not play at all. This isn't healthy. I know it's not but I am having like I said a bit of a weak moment. There is also the bigger issues of the sewer backed up and flooded my basement two weeks ago and I'm still cleaning that up.
Then there is the fact my mom is still on the fence about moving in with me. The failed adoption of my nephew, the partial sterilization of my body and thus the finality of me not having children. The reconciliation with bunny and the list really does go on but by now I've already gotten long winded.
With all this being said - I miss you all and want you to realize that my thoughts and prayers are ever present especially because without a lot of you I'd be so much worse off. I'm trying to put together a working pack that I can use to reboot the twitch streaming and have a means of chatting live with you all and reconnecting.
In the meantime know that I'm not being quiet cause of anyone here - it's mostly I've been stuck in my own dang head again. Please keep in touch and be excellent to each other.

Happy New YEAR + Update

Did ya miss me? Took me a week to get back to my computer and boy has it been a doozy! Happy New Year to you all and thank you so much for the love and support you have shown me here. Y'all are amazing and I am so super blessed to be a part of this community!
UPDATE: Surgery was on Tuesday morning. There was complications. They were unable to do it laparoscopic and had to cut me open from naval to pelvic bone. The left ovary was swallowed by cysts and the large 10cm one was complex with hardened components. Looked like cancer and was growing as such. It had attached itself in the uterus and was being a serious pain in the ass to the surgeon. They had to remove the mass, ovary, and tube giving me a partial sterilization. I went in knowing this was a possibility so I have come to grips with this.
The second complex cyst was 7cm and had hardened components. This one they were able to freeze and do a stat exam for malignancy. It came up negative so I got to keep that ovary and tube. So even though my surgery was long and complex, I proudly get to sit here today and talk to you all again and say: I DON'T HAVE CANCER - I WIN!!!!!
I started bouncing back the day after surgery, was able to come off the oxygen, have the catheter removed and got up with assistance. I have fought every day and every day more and more things were removed. I came home Friday Night. Surprised the doctors and nurses. I told them give me hope and I will give you the extraordinary. Home is complicated as I adjust to the healing and routing of resting and regaining strength.
Thank you all so very much for your thoughts, prayers, and companionship. This has been hard. However, we have come out this side victorious. Now to tend my wounds and rest. I will try to get back on my computer tomorrow and check in again. Be excellent to each other.

The path has begun

The following is going to be an update about my health. If you are squemish or sensitive and you do not wish to know - I understand and you might want to skip this journal.
I posted a little over a week ago that I was in the hospital. I ended up spending 4 1/2 days there because I had Sepsis. Somehow my blood got infected with some sort of bacteria and it had spread rapidly. Granted I had had chemo the week before so my body was quite weakened. This was treatable and the doctors were on it. They had to starve me out though cause it was affecting my pancreas and the only fluids in the IV where potassium and antibiotics. Couldn't give me nutrients cause they wanted the biliary tract to calm the hell down.
I was so relieved when my scores improved rapidly due to the antibiotics and things and we scheduled my exit strategy and whatnot. Plus someone snuck me in a cheeseburger ohm nom nom so happy naughty catfox was happy. However, while I was there they had run a Cat scan to look at my belly and see how the pancreas was doing. Pancreas was totally fine! \o/ YAY \0/ However, they were only scanning my belly but they spotted something.
They spotted something huge in my lower abdomen. So when they told me the good news about me going home they had to inform me that they wanted to hold me one more day and do a couple of test. First a trans vaginal ultrasound and blood work CA-125. Anyone who has had cancer or a cancer scare knows what this is.
The results concern the hospitalist who insists I see an OB like yesterday and has the records forwarded to his office and to my primary care doctors. My release was on a Sunday so first thing Monday morning I start the phone calls and get cock blocked by the rudest doctor office staff ever. So I drive to my primary care doctors and camp on their doorstep.
He sees me right away and looks at the records and he too goes holy crap I need you seen like yesterday by the OB. He leaves the room and calls the doctor himself. This starts to worry me greatly. Fast forward to yesterday:
I finally see the OB and get the full results of the ca125 and ultrasound. I have a 10cm complex cyst with hardened components on my left ovary and a 7cm complex cyst with hardened components on my right ovary. The Ca-125 test was slightly elevated. Granted the blood test the hospitalist is normally run in people being treated for cancer not necessarily as a detection.
The OB did a pelvic exam and ran a battery of tests. I'm in the hurry up and wait position for the next week. On Monday we schedule the surgery. The test results will determine who does it. The OB or Oncology.
I feel broadsided to be honest. I've had Rheumatoid for over 10 years, and although it is a challenge I still get to have reasonable quality of life and was making progress in the drug trials. To be honest right now I'm scared, angry, devastated. This is not what I expected but it explains a whole lot why I've been having such trouble with pain management.
So even though the path has just begun I admit that I am scared. I don't mean to leave a long winded journal but this is my social website and honestly the only place I feel that I can actually be honest and my real self.
Thank you all who have been so kind to me over the last couple of years. Your support and generosity has made my life richer and more fulfilled than ever. Please continue to be awesome and don't give up on me just yet. There's still a lot of fight in me left and although it is scary - I won't let this take me down.

I'm home everyone! Yay! Yay! YAY!

Sorry I had to disappear like that, being in the hospital meant limited internet access and other non fun things. I'm safely home now. I have another week of treatment to go. We did cancel next weeks chemo as my hospital stay has made it to where I am too weak ton continue that. Plus they might have found a couple tumors on my ovaries and so I need to get those looked at too. So I will be scheduling that this week. NO worries y'all - I am getting a microphone and the streaming will truly be a thing! Much love to you all - as you have been the best support and amazing peeps on earth!!! <3 <3 <3 Until we speak again y'all.

I'm back in the hospital again so if I am slow to respond you know why. I came in cause of my pancreas but it is worse. Treatable thank goodness but I have to stay in the hospital for at least a few days. Be excellent to each other and I will be back asap.

Rethinking and overthinking

I'm sitting here and hashing out in my head again. I've been starting classes and creating art. It is becoming a significant amount. To really get a sense of who is watching my commission work of my characters or is it my art journey. So I am debating leaving FA, or creating a different profile. Would like your opinion on this.

I would like to make it personalized and unique, so I'm tapping this community FIRST. Because y'all are the best. November 2016 UPDATICALS

Can you believe it's already the holiday season?? It sure snuck up on me. Plus, with the presidential election, NANOWRIMO, chemo, my dying kitty, and moving my mom; my plate is a bit overwhelming at moment. I figured those of you who watch my page and keep up with the craziness of the catfox life I'd break it down and keep you posted.
The U.S. just finished the presidential election process. It breaks my heart the way it turned out and how I am truly scared for my friends that are Black, LGBTQ, Latino, or Muslim, or Female. These are the targets of our president elect and I do not plan to allow anything going against the social progress we have made as a country.
As a citizen I will be doing a lot of writing to my elected representatives, being active on social media, protesting where necessary, and standing with anyone being targeted. I am truly worried and will be more vocal and active then I have ever been in these realms for social rights and justice.
The next thing on my plate is I've got chemo scheduled for late November and in December. Hopefully my body will do well with it this time and we can not do it as frequently (that would be great).
Three days ago I woke up my eldest kitty who turns 20 years old in a couple weeks. When I woke him I noticed fresh blood on his muzzle and chest fluff. I immediately went into mom mode and cleaned him up and looked for damages. It was coming from his mouth and he had lost a bunch of teeth.
I also noticed a distinct smell. My first thought it was infection from loosing a couple teeth. So the next day I scheduled an appointment for the day after that as he wasn't bleeding or acting like it was bothering him.
So the next day my bestie aka Hilavia stopped by and we painted and hung out. She noticed that buhby had a swollen jaw when she went to give him skritches. I grabbed him up and did the whole mom check all the things and sure enough, there was a swollen knot on his jaw.
So I called the vet back and the nurse agreed it was probably infection and to come in immediately. I dropped everything and rushed to the vet. Then the vet had to tell me the worst thing possible. My poor sweet kitty has cancer. I was devastated.
Due to his advanced age and how quickly the tumor has grown (just a couple days). We cannot treat the cancer. Anyone who has had cancer or seen someone with it knows what a shit show it really is. My heart is just broken. Especially when I cannot do anything but keep him comfortable until the time comes to do ... the thing.
Having a pet means making this most difficult decision - I hate it. I've cried non stop since I found out. However, even though I'm crying and my heart is broken, it is my job to play, hold, feed, and give my companion the best last weeks of his life.
So I've been cooking up chicken broth and shredding his food to practically soup. He seems to be really enjoying that and I've been holding him and giving him extra love and attention. The other kitties are also being very nice to him. They know, and it is a home of solidarity which is a relief.
Moving my mom. Yep, it is time. My mom has terrible choices in life mates and companions. Even though I am the youngest child, I'm the one that attempts to keep the family in line and prospering. So, looking at the beginning of next year I'll be moving her in with me and taking care of her.
The last thing is NANOWRIMO - most of you know how much I look forward to doing the challenge every November. I get really excited, I get new characters and art to go towards the theme of the writing and everything. I started strong this year, but with everything happening and the pain it causes my hands, I have to understand my limitations and do what I can.
I know you all will be understanding and I am proud to say that this social group has been the brightest spot in my life with some amazing people. Please continue to be your awesome selves and I will be here for you just like you have been here for me. Thank you all!

Three days ago I woke up my eldest kitty who turns 20 years old in a couple weeks. When I woke him I noticed fresh blood on his muzzle and chest fluff. I immediately went into mom mode and cleaned him up and looked for damages. It was coming from his mouth and he had lost a bunch of teeth.
I also noticed a distinct smell. My first thought it was infection from loosing a couple teeth. So the next day I scheduled an appointment for the day after that as he wasn't bleeding or acting like it was bothering him.
So the next day my bestie aka Hilavia stopped by and we painted and hung out. She noticed that buhby had a swollen jaw when she went to give him skritches. I grabbed him up and did the whole mom check all the things and sure enough, there was a swollen knot on his jaw.
So I called the vet back and the nurse agreed it was probably infection and to come in immediately. I dropped everything and rushed to the vet. Then the vet had to tell me the worst thing possible. My poor sweet kitty has cancer. I was devastated.
Due to his advanced age and how quickly the tumor has grown (just a couple days). We cannot treat the cancer. Anyone who has had cancer or seen someone with it knows what a shit show it really is. My heart is just broken. Especially when I cannot do anything but keep him comfortable until the time comes to do ... the thing.
Having a pet means making this most difficult decision - I hate it. I've cried non stop since I found out. However, even though I'm crying and my heart is broken, it is my job to play, hold, feed, and give my companion the best last weeks of his life.
So I've been cooking up chicken broth and shredding his food to practically soup. He seems to be really enjoying that and I've been holding him and giving him extra love and attention. The other kitties are also being very nice to him. They know, and it is a home of solidarity which is a relief.
Moving my mom. Yep, it is time. My mom has terrible choices in life mates and companions. Even though I am the youngest child, I'm the one that attempts to keep the family in line and prospering. So, looking at the beginning of next year I'll be moving her in with me and taking care of her.
The last thing is NANOWRIMO - most of you know how much I look forward to doing the challenge every November. I get really excited, I get new characters and art to go towards the theme of the writing and everything. I started strong this year, but with everything happening and the pain it causes my hands, I have to understand my limitations and do what I can.
I know you all will be understanding and I am proud to say that this social group has been the brightest spot in my life with some amazing people. Please continue to be your awesome selves and I will be here for you just like you have been here for me. Thank you all!

Painting, Gaming, and Bacon - OH MY!

How's it going? Most of you know I had Moonblossom over for the last couple of weeks and we had a BLAST! I miss her already and cannot wait til she comes back to visit next year. Together with Hilavia the three of us stirred lots of mischief at ARCHON and got lots of treasures. Plus, Moonblossom brought me a bunch of glasswork from herself and her co-workers at the Dockyard Glassworks (i.e. spoiled catfox is spoiled).
A lot of you probably have noticed an upload of paintings. I've picked up the paintbrush and started with acrylics. I am enjoying myself thoroughly!! I have so much to learn and I know I'm starting late in life but Eh why not!! A few of the pieces have sold and or been traded away. If you find something you would like, then please let me know and I will try to get one done for you! I can even change up the colors and sizes of canvas. I just secured a guy who can sell me the proper boxes to ship them Yahoo!
Gaming: omg I am so far behind on getting my ish together and playing for you all. Needless to say, I've been playing the HECK out of Stardew Valley, WoW, and a little ARK. I have every intention to get my butt in gear for streaming. I might just bite the bullet and use my craptastic mic and do it in the meantime for the hell of it. Plus a certain volfy made sure I got a copy of FFVII ehrmagerd can't wait to walk down memory lane with that one. Also, on the topic of gaming; I am lvl 19 in POKEMON GO! Gotta catch em all poke my mom!!
NANOWRIMO - It is possible y'all have also noticed a huge addiction like need for me to adopt a WHOLE BUNCHA characters. Well I have an idea in my head for this years NANOWRIMO and I needed to adopt chibi(chilren) for the story as I am a visual person. My Hareem including: Neill, Clyde, Ikana, Anthos, Moonblossom etc.etc. are probably going to be making appearances as well.
BIG ASS THANK YOU to my Hareem for being super supportive and amazing to me and bringing me no drama. Ikana, Neill, Clyde, Anthos ... omg I cannot thank you all enough for the games, pictures, stories, roleplay, etc. etc. just y'all have been super d duper and I am very very very SPOILED rotten. I've got more chemo coming up and I know I wouldn't be doing this good without you - so THANK YOU!

I'm so super EXCITED! Moonblossom is coming to visit again and we are going to ARCHON the local science fiction/fantasy/gaming/geek convention. So I may be a little hard to catch up with for a bit while I enjoy my friend visit. I finished Mrawl's small painting and shipped it *crosses fingers* hope she likes it :3 I think I am behind on posting more of my art. I got really disheartened when I went to a Monet instruction session. I will share with you all but again I really not happy with my work. Then I did two sunset and abstract pieces and again - disliked my work :( I really think my personal style is in background gradients and gothic/folksy themes.
Anyway - I've got a lot of art outstanding and waiting somewhat impatiently for them all - what I mean by impatient is I am so excited to get them it's like zomg I want it yesterday ... don't worry I truly am patient and would never ever harrass an artist to hurry. Art is totes worth waiting for as an artist is sharing a piece of their creativity and artistic soul. I'll wait ... just ignore my internal fidgeting and desire to "want it yesterday" :3 :3 :3
I am hoping to get a couple pieces before the year ends with Ikana, Neill, Clyde, and Anthos - I'm going to try real hard even if it's something small. Anyway - I'm also on the hunt for a fall icon and fall themed picture... kinda hoping Neill will work on this as I think the forest wolf and catfox playing in the fall colored leaves would be totes amaze... *hint hint*

Wow - I was gone longer than I thought I would be. However, I am now home safely and recovering from the busy trip that I had. There was drama and there was some beach time. In my humble opinion it all worked out.
Worked on a painting last night as I sorely had missed being able to paint. I really like how it turned out - if the person I made it for likes it I will wrap and ship it this week. If not, then I'll add it to my pile for someone to buy later.
The remodel of the spare bedroom is almost complete! I'm so excited! Touch up paint and then putting furniture together and moving it in and organizing and then DONE! Which this has to be done by next Wednesday cause I have company flying in. My friend Moonblossom is coming to visit again YAY!!!!!!!!
Streaming - omg I am so late getting started on this again. Trust me when I say I love to play video games. However, RL has just gotten in the way at every twist and turn. Once my company heads home then I have to work on moving my mom. She is going to move in with me (this is the major piece of drama in my life) I am looking forward to having my mom here as she will be happier and I won't have to worry about her so dang much.

Mini Hiatus / Update / Sales / Etc.

How are you all doing? I hope you are doing well and enjoying the end of summer. We are about to head into Fall which is my favorite time of the year. I live in the Midwest so I get to see all the lovely leaf color changes and the weather begins to cool. YAY \o/!
Mini Hiatus:
What this means is I have had a mini - semi emergency in the family and I will be leaving for a few weeks to help out my big brother with the kids. I'll be back in late September. I will try to communicate on here but as far as going into any more arts or collabs - not til I get back. So if I don't get to my Thank you's and or your note or shout, I promise I'm not ignoring, just LIFE aggro for the moment.
Update:
Okay - took on a DIY project with my best friend aka Hilavia. I had a spare bedroom that has been empty for 5 years as originally it was supposed to be a nursery, long story short, that didn't happen. So I decided I wanted a meditation room and a place for my alter and prayer mat etc. (i.e. I'm pagan) We began on Wednesday and already accomplished a lot. I plan on sharing the finished result of our labor. Speaking of, Hilavia is hella handy I watched her connect and rig up my brand new lighted ceiling fan like a boss. This room is going to be totally amazing when it's done.

So far two of them have sold and I have two outstanding orders to complete before I leave in two weeks. WoW - What an amazing Day!

Yesterday was my birthday and I have to say it was one of my best birthday's of all times. Some of you know that in my RL I was about to get divorced 3 years ago, and about a year ago entered into negotiations for reconciliation. I've been with my hubby for 21 years now. So honestly reconciliation was a good thing for both of our families.
That's part of the reason why my birthday was so amazing. I start the day with a phone call and show up of my best friend who says "Get dressed, the goal is FOOD, BOOZE, and paint." Now, my bestie is more submissive so to hear her demand all the things made me giggle and motivate. Hubby calls to see what my plans are and is relieved that I wouldn't be alone again on my birthday. (seems to happen a lot over the years)
Bestie and I go to do all the things, we did a little shopping, stuffed our faces with junk food cause ... we were gonna booze it up better prepare the tummy! We went to Michael's which is my naughty store cause I can't go in there and not buy something. With my birthday coupon I got a new fancy paint brush. Onwards to the grocery store - BOOZE - We acquired booze and by then it was after 12 and starting to get swampy hot.
My kitchen, booze opened, paints opened, canvas, opened, angsty 90's music mix ON - We got our angsty venty feelings on the issues involving both of our worlds and painted for almost 4 hours. So glorious. During this paintapalooza flowers got delivered and I do so love flowers so bonus for me wooohoo!
After 4pm I sit down to my computer for a little decompress time and I have a note from everyone's favorite volfy with a gift of a new game!! FFVII I can't wait to replay this game and touch on the memories of how I acquired my first copy. So excite!
While this is happening my hubby pulls into the driveway. Now he works a lot of overtime and is rarely and I do me SUPER RARE home before 6pm... seeing him right at 4ish was weird. I jumped up to make sure all was well and it was a surprise for me. We were going out to dinner and dessert... Well now - Okie dokie!!! Onwards!
Oh my timeline is a little off - I have to mention that my sweet leopard was chatting with me last night while we both surfed FA and playing Starbound. I spotted an adoptable that just called to me and it's rare when that happens. Well the leopard has a soft spot for me and had it sent to me so now I own it! Yay! They also helped me on starbound as I've been stuck due to lack of tungsten for armor etc. okay okay I digress.
So the end of night ended up with Minecraft with hubby and our online friends - so truly what an amazing day. All the things done and acquired. Spoiled catfox is spoiled. Happy Catfox.

Preparing for NANOWRIMO CASTING CALL I need your characters!

Some of you know that I participate in NANOWRIMO every year in November. Here is a link for those of you who don't know what NANO is: http://nanowrimo.org/
Now I cannot start writing the "story" and counting it towards word count but I can start laying out the concept, background information, character creation, world environment and outline. Again, the words pre-written will not count but it makes the writing go so much faster and easier when it is prepared and organized.
This is my casting call for permission to use your characters image/likeness for my graphic novel/comic idea that I'm going to write during November. Below I'll have roles that I need filled and will include roles that have already been snarfed up! If you see something you are interested in post in the comments with a link to the reference of the character I'd be allowed to use. I'll make decisions quickly and let you know. I'm super excited to finally be able to write something new.....hope y'all will think this is amusing and join in!

Good News Update

I hope my journal finds you all doing well and staying cool during this really hot summer! Wanted to give you all an update on how things are going, especially for those who keep up with all my journals and whatnot. I saw the doctor and we went over my medical journal that I kept starting in May.
The first log was my weight. In July 2014 my doctors pulled me from work and from all exercise activity even stretching!!! It was you leave your midsection alone and that is final! Well I used to work on average 12-14 hours a day 6 days a week. I was going to the gym twice a week and physical therapy twice a week. My life was regimented and insanely busy. Then NOTHING. So you can imagine I gained a fair amount of weight being sedentary. In May 2016 the doctors wanted to put me through MAJOR surgery and I did not want it. I begged my doctors for 2 months and for the restriction of exercise and physical therapy to be lifted. Well, I'm proud to say that they were against it but let me have my chance. I lost 24lbs in those two 1/2 months! I'm proud but not really - this was unnecessary put on weight cause of inactivity - the real show will be when I can get back to a full functioning routine and healthy.
The next log was blood sugar tests. You know the one where you stick your finger and put the blood on a strip??? That thing. The goal there was to get my blood sugars between 70-120. At the time mine where between 350-500. It was pretty bad!!! I changed my diet and everyone keeps asking ... what fad diet are you following. I'm not. I am not counting calories, carbs, fats, fiber, etc. I'm only doing one thing. SUGAR the heart and stroke association state that women should have no more than 25g of sugar daily. That is my #1 law and rule over myself. Since I've stuck to that law since May my sugars are no longer high and the doctors have weened me off the insulin. My sugars this morning were 91.
The third thing we were logging was heart rate and blood pressure. I own a FITBIT (friend meh) my fitbit tracks my steps, stairs, calories burned, heart rate, sleep, distance. The most fantastic little bugger of a device I've ever owned and it's PURPLE (not like I really like purple or anything hehe). When I first got the device I couldn't even go around the culdesac without feeling exhausted and out of breath. Now I can walk about 30 minutes before I have to stop. So at least 3 times a week I go for a 1-2 hour walk. It's chunked up with stops at benches to catch my breath and stretch cause it's very painful on my swollen joints (but meh I'm freaking out there trying!). The next part of this was heart rate. When I started using my fitbit my resting heart rate was between 92-100 (danger zone for heart attack) Now, my resting heart rate is around 67 exactly where it should be. This means all those blood pressure medicine got to go away too!!!
The last thing we tracked was pain. I've been without the assistance of pain management and I just couldn't do it on my own anymore. Between all the surgeries and flare-ups ... just couldn't do it right. So my primary doctor said he would be my pain management physician as well so that we can watch everything closely. I now wear a pain patch. For the first time in over 10 years, my pain is under control and that threshold is held where I can actually be a functioning human being. I'm able to do the laundry, go to the grocery store - have a bit of a social life without crying and sleeping 18 hours a day.
It's amazing what can happen in a few months with hard work, determination, and a little help. I couldn't have done as well as I have if I didn't have such awesome support from my partner in rl my best friend and my wonderful friends here on FA. Y'all have been INCREDIBLE to me and I cannot express my gratitude for what you all have done. Please continue to be awesome as I truly appreciate it. My journey is far from over but it's so much better than it was. Thank you!

Why don't I catch you up on what is going on shall I? First off, round 3 of chemo was done on the 1st of July; the next round will be done on the 18th followed with a hand ultrasound on the 19th. That's going to be a ROUGH couple of days. So again, if I am sporadic or slow to answer this is why.
My best friend found a place that just opened up really close to my house called Painting with a Twist. I've done two pieces in their studio and posted them to my scraps (if you are inclined to look). This experience was totally fun. You sip wine and paint with acrylics with an instructor for 2-3 hour sessions. I'm hoping to do more!
Streaming - Well my darlings this is put on hold due to financials it will probably be August before I can swing it so you will just have to be a little more patient. I promise it won't be too long. First things I'm going to stream is a Modded Minecraft and Stardew Valley. I would be doing Final Fantasy but they didn't go on sale *grumbles* I'm waiting for square enix to pop another sale then I will snag the PC versions.
Steam - yes, I am often on steam but very quiet there as mostly I'm in full screen mode and don't see and or hear when someone pings me. I am very willing to add people to my steam but don't get upset or butthurt if I don't respond right away. Most of the time I've left the PC on and am asleep. Now, if you are so inclined and have lots of extra trading cards *bats eyes and grabby paws* I can has?
ART - by now you all know I am addicted to it. I love getting pieces for my wall and digital presence. It makes me happy, just about as much as games does! Right now I have posted everything that I've received (even the naughty stuff). I've got 3 pieces ordered and awaiting completion. If you want to get art with me, I'd be honored and willing to pay up to $70 dollars towards a piece should you want to do a group art.
Sexually themed art will be allowed by just a few peoples and hopefully you realize who you are by now :P however, if you have an idea in mind G - PG13 is more than okay and encouraged. Just let me know first beforehand so I don't think my characters are being stolen :O
For now everyone, be kind to each other and we will speak again soon.

I have had lots of kindness shown to me and I appreciate every bit! During the worlds turmoil it has been a safe haven to come home and relax in my office and check on peeps here.
Those people who are close to my heart, thank you for riding the drama waves when they roll through... I don't know why people want to give me drama for having love in my life but I guess some people just feel compelled to do that.
Many of you have probably seen more art that goes above pg-13. Well I decided to let it be. If someone that is close to me wants to express physical love with my character I'm going to allow it - celebrate life and fun instead of boxing it all in.
August is my birthday and I promised Skunk and Pup that I would get art with them so if anyone is interested in art with me it will have to wait til September - so keep that in mind as I would love to have more arts of everyone that is in my world.
For now, please take care of yourselves and each other - I will try to be on as often as I can . Until we speak again.

Who ordered the Chemo?!?

This community has been the majority of my online presence along with a little bit of Facebook. The Facebook holds my RL stuff and things and I keep it fairly PG. My FA presence however, is more rated LIFE sometimes E for Everyone sometimes XXXL OMG WTF - that's just me being honest. Plus this is also where I can get art done of my Original characters, write all the naughty short stories and role-play when the mood strikes.
FA may not be perfect, but it's working for me and I've met some wonderful peeps through this site and new gaming buddies. YAY!!!! So it bothers me a little when I have to write sad journals or not so awesome news. It's like I want my page to be full of LIFE, Color, Love - etc. blarf. etc. Think you get the picture.
With this said I want to inform you all that surgery is indeed put off as my drastic lifestyle changes and adaptation to my bodies growing demands has been successful. However, that didn't put me out of the woods for my RA treatments including chemo. That means Friday is my next round of chemo with a follow-up dose two weeks later. Joy and Rapture.
I'm going to try and catch up all my commissioned art and get them on my wall before Friday (hopefully) as I believe I'm still in February's art :O Which is terrible as this art deserves to be displayed - gods bless the artists because they are all awesome sauces.
Be good to each other as I may be online sporadically cause chemo = pukey. Life is too short to be angry and holding grudges - it takes too much time and effort. Be the better person and join me for games cause raisins.

Due to health reasons I missed DieCon. Sorry to those I was supposed to see - I missed you trust me. The next convention is in October - ARCHON - I plan on going and MoonBlossom is planning on staying with me so now you will have to make your way to see us both!
Streaming: It's been a year since my microphone broke and that has killed my streaming ability. A fellow sweetums from FA is going to send me a new one so that I can start streaming again. I've got 2-3 games already lined up to start. In the interim I will be getting some artwork for the channel done.
The games: I am thinking about showing off my life on ARK, some 7D2D, and modded MineCraft. Let me know if there is something else you'd rather see. Y'all be well and be excellent to each other!

An unexpected ray of hope
General | Posted 9 years agoHello everyone, I hope my journal finds you all healthy, wealthy and wise. Lately my journals have been more on the down than I'd like. The health issues have been paramount in my mind and it's been a very consuming process. However, I just got a piece of good news and a bit of hope.
My pre-op blood work came back and I get to put off the next surgery as my scores have finally come down from the extreme. (i.e. I've stopped peeing blood and other fun side effects) I still have RA and still have two more rounds of chemo this year - but this surgery was going to be major and I was so so scared.
With my scores doing so well that means I get to start weening off insulin and the diabetic pills. I am so excited, hopefully you can understand. I've been able to go to the gym if I am super careful and just do what I can. My first month back saw a weight loss of 13lbs. Might be a small amount to y'all but after a year of being bed ridden and sedantary to now beginning to have a life again.
I am finally starting to laugh again, smile, enjoy the weather - get out of the house etc. I feel hope, I feel alive - join me friends as I celebrate cause life is short and precious. Also, to those trying to create drama that is unnecessary - I plan on completely ignoring as I've totally got better things to do.
To the rest of you amazing peeps - THANK YOU for your support and kind words and actions over the last two years. You have helped more than you know.
