I am re posting this from a fellow fur on here, and figured i would spread the word a bit. If you are feeling intimidated, let down, or otherwise about to give up on doing art, please read this.. it might help you out.

No, it's not tracing what you will be doing. Going to the image search engine can go through several angles, several species and even anatomy. A lot of these artist you think are good, got there through doing that method.

Please remember this!: Every species has breeds, each breed has a different shapen muzzle, ears, even body build. So while yes, dogs have long muzzles, their not always the same width. For an example. An Average Wolves muzzle is a thick muzzle, while you look at it's ancestors muzzle the maned wolves' muzzle is much like a foxes, more narrow.

And another example are birds beaks. That is probably the best example I could give you. Blue Jays don't have a Storks beak Lol.

I know I know, you still probably feel like you are cheating yourself by doing this. Well, you're not. Since the beginning of art classes, teachers have asked their students to use models so they can learn their field of art study more precisely.

No one starts out as a good artist. It's the dedication and time and study you put forth, and patience along with loyalty that forms those big time artist. Through time you will learn the shapes and sizes and form your art where you want it to be, without needing a referral image.

Oh! One more thing. Make it your own skill, while you do use them as your ref images, remember that you need to create your own skill, so explore the styles your hand and mind are willing to offer. If all artist look the same, art, wouldn't be art like it is today.

So I hope that has inspired and helped some of you :)

Commissions, and art submissions will be slowed down for the next few weeks due to some priority changes. I am currently getting back up on my web site dev seat, and helping out on a certain roleplaying site (some of you may know since word passes fast in the rp community). I suck at juggling acts, so most of my attention is going to go towards the site for a few weeks. I will still continue doing art, but it will be at a much slower pace. That being said streams will not be guaranteed depending on staff meetings and what not. So i ask that you guys please be patient with me on work you may have ordered. It will get done of course, and i will do my best to post Work in progress posts for the art if i am not able to stream.

Oh man.. where do i start.. by the way this is the part you might want to ignore, because it will just be me ranting your ears off. Let me just say this week has been SHIT, and i am normally not one to complain long as i am alive and well, but the last few days has been filled with so many curve balls and bullcrap it is not even funny. It all started with a 300 dollar electric bill, which leaves me doing the nice task of evaluating my home to see what ran it up (luckily i am a electrician due to my previous job), alright so i got that all well and done..should be smooth sailing right? NOPE! Next comes when i check the LP (propane in lamens terms) tanks outside and it would seem i am about to run out early, thanks to these sub zero temps we havent had here in 20 years x.x Alright..alright suppose that is no so bad.. i will just be more conservative, and use some supplemental heat. Oh wait? What is this when i go flush the toilet? NO WATER! Mind you this was afterdark, and nearly single digits. So i suppose there was a mix up on the bill or something. I bundle up, and go outside ot the meter to see if there is a lock on it, no lock the main was just off. No problemmmm, i will just go in and get my service valve tool and turn it back on. So, i turned it on, welp..seems a water pipe busted under ground somewhere! So today i will be breaking up frozen earth some how just to find the damn leak..nice task isnt it? Oh, and still on the job hunting train..choo choooo

So all that being said, i will not be very active for a few days to a week. Everything is on hold until i get crap evened out and take a breather. including streams. I am really sorry for this, but i will be back once all this bs is fixed and behind me and i hope to the reptile god above no more shit happens x.x not sure how much more i can take.

Due to the lack of entries, and no one getting back to me on permissions i am canceling the previous contest. I am truly sorry for this, and maybe i will come up with something different. I am also taking a indefinite hiatus from my art and movie streams since half the time it is just streaming to a dead audience anyway x.x Also, i have not been feeling the best as of late which is a addition to this. I will still occasionally check things on here, and take any requests.

Impulsive things are always a downfall of mine.. Anyway! As some of you know, i host a art stream followed by a movie every friday night and of course.. to keep my promise to host one every week i constantly need projects. Before you start thinking that this is some sort of begging for commissions, please read the rest of this. It might just be something you could benefit from! Normally, yes i do charge for commissions, but i will be honest that things are a bit slow right now. [u]So i am offering Free.. that is right Free line renders!. I am only going to offer so many however to hold me over for the month, which will be 4. I am also going to do a hat raffle, and the winner will receive free coloring and shading. The winner will be notified of this, and asked for references. There is a few rules for this contest (if you like to call it that);


* You must supply the sketch. This is free line rendering, which means i will not sketch it for you.

*If you are picky about your character, i highly suggest viewing the stream when yours comes up to be done. Or else it will be a "take what you get" Since i cannot ask about things if you are not there.

* If the sketch you gave me was commissioned by someone else, you will have to contact the artist who done the sketch, and either A: Have them message me saying it is alright that i work with this image. or B: Tell me their name so i can contact them to ask.

*Tips are very much appreciated, but not by any means required. However, if you do tip there is a good chance i will do something more over the top. If you would like to tip me, just note me, and i will give you my paypal information.

*The hat raffle for the coloring and shading will be done by a neutral party, and will be completely random. If you would like to be exempt from this raffle, please contact me ahead of time.

*First come first serve!

*Since this is a free event, i will take my time but it will be done. So please, do not rush me.

NOT! Just popping out from the woodwork to inform everyone all projects and streamings will be TBA. Due to stuff getting busy in the real world, plus my mate coming back in after some lengthy work done to fix her back it is safe to say i will be busy for the next 2 weeks. If i can find the time to stream, i will but things are unpredictable right now. However, if i do i will be sure to inform everyone when i go on air.

On another note, i am working on making commissions to be opened. I am currently working on price sheets, and conditions as we speak. Welp... I think that is pretty much it in a nutshell. Never was one for lengthy posts, i like to cut to the chase, OH and i also like squirrels, trees, air, pencils, computers, blah blah blah <- Contradicting rambling.

Hey everyone, not that this is important more or less bored right now so i thought i would share. Some of you are aware of how terribly awful my internet is (to the point it is not even funny or normal!) Well i come bearing great news! After contacting my isp they will be coming out and upgrading my service with them substantially from where it is now hopefully on Thursday. Some of you also knows i been streaming for a small group of people to give a little place to hang out, and watch the projects come together; once i get this upgrade i will be more open about my streams since i will be able to host a decent reliable stream then, and sharing them publicly on here for anyone who wants to join! Hopefully, i can get the ball rolling and start taking requests here soon. Right after i catch up on my stock pile of personal nick-knacks i been working on. Who knows... there might even be a CG 3D project coming this way ;D Anyway, that is all for now far as updates. Stay cool.
