I held out through a majority of the virus and I have to update prices.

Like many of you, my rent increased, food has increased, and now I have to pay for my medicine and insurance.
Some of you may think "Oh! She must have gotten a really nice job and pay increase!" -No-
Life just decided to rain lemons and they're mostly rotten.

SO I need to be able to afford a few things and I would like at least $20 to spend on myself frivolously.

A lot of things have happened and I just really need the help.
My husband's hours got cut because one department thought wrong and took hours from the rest of his store for their department.
He's the only one able to work, I'm disabled and still fighting to get disability.

Does anyone remember the codes for the FA emoticons? I used to know them and they used to be an option and I still see them from time to time, but I honestly completely forgot how to.

I apparently have a small addiction to dA because these past few days of silence (protest of dA) has been SO FUCKING HARD!!!!

Nevermind the fact that since it's been easy to navigate my journals, I keep them, cringey as they may be.

I've noticed parts of me being a disgusting human being. Seeing what I posted due to peer pressure (some to throw off the trail that I actually LIKED the people I was talking shit about). I refused to delete them because they were a part of me. Every cringey one. From awkward 13 to finding a comfort in myself, depression, my first job, etc.

I have poor memory so I even use them to help when I need specific dates. Because jobs like EXACT fucking dates. Like...

"You've been with a company for 4 years, what day did you start?"
... dude what? I don't remember the exact day, I barely remember the month. I've been there for so long how the fuck should I remember?
"What day did you leave xyz?"
Uh.... what?

Thankfully I can get either exact dates or an estimate because I either posted in excitement or depression. When I don't I actually kinda freak out because, I don't have it written down, I don't remember.

I have seizures, I have depression, a side effect is memory loss!!! I don't remember! I really really don't! Some days blur because my mind was so hazy because of a seizure! I've lost weeks!

I text my bestie every fucking day, but she will spam me and seizure daze me will THINK I replied! She has gently told me that sometimes I don't reply for 2 weeks if I've had a seizure! I don't fucking remember! I use dA to HELP with that! I use dA to organize my shit! I should have a better system, but I don't.

FA has similar stuff available, but I was able to tinker with journal skins so I could read it better, make it more visually appealing, etc. I like customizing everything.

Customization is life. It's freedom of expression, it's a form of art that is aesthetically pleasing for whatever it is I have to look at, sometimes for long periods of time. It allows me to show a part of me that I like.

I like soft pastel colors, but I also like neon/hot colors. I like finding a blend, I like making something pop out without hurting your eyes. I prefer my customizations to soothe not eye fuck.

I enjoy seeing other people's stuff. I admire those who are full on goth and not afraid to show it. I'm more of a pastel goth, but I keep my stuff more earthy, misty, mountainy. Pastel earthy colors goth. I have a black thumb, but I LOVE plants.

I've been doing my best to not post human stuff/commissions for idk why, but with how dA is going I just might post everything that I haven't here yet. It would be a bit of a post spam that would have to be spread out.

It's going to get shitfaced over there (on dA), so I'll try to be MORE active here. I just really wish there were an easier way to go through the submissions in my notifications without nuking them xD I WANT to look at ALL of them! And I can't mass fave either FA will get mad at me lmao

I know I have moments of living on here and dA, but to be fair I've been on dA longer. I didn't really start to get active/posting 2012 (even though my account has been a thing since 2008) So nearly 8 years of activity vs 15 would be 16?

I haven't made a journal here in a while because.... I was lazy. No other reason.

My tablet was acting up for reasons that made me furious and I'm still miffed about and DON'T want to talk about! Needless to say she wasn't holding a charge, the parts were discontinued and people were charging literally double the price. It was cheaper in the long run to buy a new one.

I will be a bit put out if they release a new one within the next month. I got wacom intuos pro, the paper edition (it was on sale and CHEAPER than the regular). So yeah. Will be opening new commissions soon :3

IT'S THAT TIME! I'm low on funds and work hours have been crap. So I need to do a few commissions to help catch me up please!

SO I keep coming here just to forget what I was doing then I look at my messages and get overwhelmed and then leave again.
I think I'm so used to having them down to 0 that just seeing a few thousand is not helping.
At least dA has a system where I can pick and choose. Like if I want to look at images from today or all from a certain artist.
(I usually do that and whittle it down throughout the day)
It's just easier to look at 20-30 in a single time span than it is 76+ since I want to look at ALL of them.
And it's not like I can figure it out since they're all there in mass, and it just causes more freakouts.

So I want to upload my new art! But please, if possible, someone remind me on dA (Angeltsuki-chan).
At least once a week. I'll try for more often, but it's really hard.
