I got so super stressed out that I had a seizure.
The first one in a long time.
Sucks more cause it happened while I was going up the stairs,
THANKFULLY I felt it coming on and asked Brian to help me,
so he caught me from falling on my face.
I'm upset that it did happen, but I'm more happy that his
first concern was to avoid head trauma <3
Also. So SOMEONE told my mom that I was complaining and unhappy,
which is true,
but some snitch told her that I said she was being selfish.
So she SPITEFULLY gave me the largest bedroom in the house.
I'm okay with this....
Still upset, and I still call it, but whatever.
If their hope is that we all move out soon and that's hers for retirement I guess I understand...
But still, for the time being...

Posted 10 years agoSO! Some of you are new so you don't know, but recentlyish my house caught fire and we've had to find a new one.
WELL
My mother finally stopped being as asshole and picked a place (that's a whole different drama thing, don't worry about it).
We start moving soon. Like this week soon.
As in I may be super busy the rest of this week, and hopefully fully moved in by Sunday (my room at least).
I'm not abandoning anybody, don't worry about it, I'll be alive, just chill, I'm moving.
ALSO term starts the upcoming Monday... so there's that.
Super stressed about it since I do not have all my art materials.
For the newbies, I am in college, so that's a thing.
HOWEVER I WILL STILL TRY TO DO DAILY ART

Next week I'm opening emergency commissions.
I'm in a really really tight bind.
Why next week?
Next week is finals, so I won't have any other obligations to school other than the exams.
What about work?
Ha ha, here's the thing. My boss changed the schedule last minute and scheduled me to work during class hours.
I didn't know, I didn't show up. They called, I called them back a few minutes later.
They were assuming that I'd be there. Haha NO! School first.
So they were saying I forget what and I had said: Oh well!
And they asked if I could be there later, when the soonest was.
I was honest and said that from school I wouldn't be there until 7-8pm and asked them if it was really worth it.
We close at 10pm.
He complained that I asked for a lot of days off this week.
I asked for 2 days off. Not including the school days that I NEED off.
I asked off to STUDY for FINALS.
Not that it mattered since I was scheduled on a day that I asked off anyways.
So instead of giving me the time off, he added MORE time.
Cause that makes sense, right?
So yeah, I was mad, I'm still mad, and I said it with tude because I was mad cause it made no fucking sense.
SO TO PUNISH ME I GET ONE DAY OF WORK NEXT WEEK!
If they schedule me for Thursday, I can't fucking go cause exams.
So I might either have ONE day of work next week or NO days of work next week.
Bitches need monies to survive bro.
It doesn't help that since the fire we're spending more than usual cause we HAVE to.
So next week I'm making $45 the most, $36 at least.
That's a good week, huh?

So Those What if House Fire Things...

We're all okay and safe, and I even got my dogs out okay.
I'm doing the best that I can, so I guess okay would cover it, but it really doesn't.
More than half the time I'm okay, then random bursts of super high anxiety over ONE thing. It changes.
Although the one that hasn't changed, is my tablet. My art tablet. That I just bought. That has the wireless bit in it. Yeah that.
SO cause people always ask: What happened D: !?
Well I was sitting with Brian ABOUT to go to sleep when I smelled smoke. So being the paranoid that I am, I sent him to go see what it was, all the while joking: Nice to know that if this was a real fire you'd be this slow about it.
... it was a house fire
.... it was my house on fire.
I think I'm broken.
SO I called for my dad and yelling Fire (not screaming, cause I'm bad at that during serious situations =/ )
My brother also responds and asks what's going on and I tell him the house is on fire, to call 911 (oh my, I'm super bossy in these situations)
He eventually gets up after the 2-3rd time and comes to see what I see. So we go outside (me n socks n him barefoot)
Brian is trying his best in panic mind set to get pot of water to throw it on it.
Me n my dad though see the hose and grab it. Teamwork.
I'm still super ashamed of myself. I wasn't wearing my glasses so I couldn't see where the knob was... I had to call dad for help for that too.
So we got the hose on and he starts spraying it, my mom... let's not talk about that part okay, she was stupid about it.
Then Dad has me make sure that the fire isn't downstairs in the basement. It's not. But super smokey as fuck that I couldn't see down the stairs.
(VAL HOW WOULD YOU KNOW!? Because the smoke would have an orange glow to it, be smart kids)
So next I got my dogs out of the house, and slipped shoes on, got one his leash and just held them both as a few minutes later the police show up,
then the fire people.... took so long, like I said they would. AND WE LIVE ... or lived, idk right now...
THEY ARE RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET!!!
Then we start yelling at the 2nd floor neighbor to get his ass out of the house. Took him a hot minute >.>
If the fire built up anymore and he wouldn't have had a way down either...
No one could see smoke or anything in the front.... But I'm lucky I caught it in time to get us all out okay.
And that's all the drama part that you get.
The fire people think it was electrical, since the whole house is apparently wired illegally. Oh joy. It's a literal death trap.
A bunch of other things weren't up to code either.
We're not allowed back until the landowners have it all up to code.
Which includes having a licensed electrician come and cap all the live wires and then rewire the whole house.
Yaaaaaaaay.....
And that's all the drama part that you get.

Posted 10 years agoI'm totally alive, just college things eatin my face. It's been a year since I was in school so I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things.
Doesn't help that I barely like any of the subjects that I'm taking, but I do like the professors. They're just in the way of the classes I do want to take and credit shit and blah blah blah.
I am injured, I did it to myself, NOT ON PURPOSE, don't worry about that.
SO I messed up my back, my lower back. I was doing yoga and I had a really bad spasm, and instead of coming out of the pose like my body wanted, I fought it to stay IN the pose. If someone saw it it would probably look like I was being possessed or exorcised or something >.> with no sound.
SO I kinda may have messed up the muscles there a bit, and I maaaaaaaaay have bruised my spine. It hurts, not gonna lie. It makes a lot of things hurt. I DID eventually go to the doctors, I have a few more appointments to go to and make.
So far they told me to keep doing what I've been doing, rest, don't make it worse, do more as it gets better to help, keep taking the pain relievers that I've been taking just lower or more dosage (more for ibuprofen, less for tylenol) 200mg more for ibuprofen, and 25mg less for tylenol. SO 800mg for ibuprofen and 975mg for tylenol. It does basically nothing right now, although TOGETHER they kinda make it bearable. Which is bad in itself and I can't do that much since it's very bad for you and your liver. I've also been prescribed a muscle relaxer. Been told to ice and heat my back, but I've been mostly heating since it's cold as it is in my opinion....
And bad for you drinking. Not at the same time as my medicine, that's VERY stupid >:C I give myself a 2+ hour window before taking medicine after drinking. Drinking so far has been working way more, but also bad for my liver since I need to drink more.
BASICALLY MY BACK HURTS SUPER BAD AND ONLY THINGS THAT HELP MAKE THE PAIN SUPER LESS IS VERY BAD FOR MY LIVER!
I have done some arts, but I have not gotten to scanning them at all.
I have also bought some new games, and to help destress and to help with my back, I've been playing games since it does not require me to hunch over or any of that.
So I miss you guys and art so much QAQ
But this semester is almost over, gotta few more things to take care of besides homework (mostly caught up, just one more paper right now), and then I'll have winter semester to focus on you and love your faces and art. Then back to school cause spring semester.

Posted 10 years agoSo I could not wait, I bought a new tablet. It gets here I tinker with it.... it does the same exact fuckin thing.
So I did all the things.
Reinstalled
Restarted
Updated drivers
Uninstalled other programs in case of space issues
Restarted services multiple times
Removed all preferences (multiple times)
Tinkered with tablet settings in sai
Nothing worked....
SO YOU KNOW WHAT
I got SUPER mad
Of course I went to sai's website multiple times....
But this time I found it >.>
It was the stroke stabilizer settings....
Mine were all set to not specified...
ALL I HAD TO DO WAS CHANGE THE STUPID STABILIZER SETTINGS!
Just in case I also did it with the pen pressure stabilizer settings...
I didn't think of it since those settings are set in the brushes themselves >:C
THAT'S ALL IT WAS! THAT'S IT! SUPER FUCKIN SIMPLE! SO MAD!

I'm going to college, I rented textbooks online (on their way), and I bought a new laptop.
With all the things I need/want... and some programs to help with school.
My parents have been asking me what I want for my birthday but I always feel guilty about asking for expensive things.
I'm ashamed of myself.
Buying it hurt me in my frugal soul.
But I do plan to use money from the refund to pay for it....
Pretty much that "$1400" for textbooks... mostly went to my laptop.
I'm barely consoling myself with knowledge that it was on sale and I used a coupon ._.
I won't be posting art until my new baby gets here! So yeah....
I'm sorry.
It should be here by the 15th or sooner (it's customized).
I talked it over with a few people and they all agreed that it was the smart thing to do.
Especially since Mint has been cranky and fussy (my laptop).
I'm worried at some point she'll just crash while I'm working on an important school thing.
They all agreed knowing my luck.
So it was a good investment, just my frugal soul is still hurting xD
I'll get over it in maybe a month or 2.

I have made new nerd friends, and most of them are nice.
Only some of them play MTG though, but enough that my needs are met xD

So it's okay, I'm not alone all day there.

I'm not feeling super alone being surround by a huge bunch of people.
It is totally helping my depression.

Posted 10 years agoMy tablet is a mix of dead and not dead. It's undead.
Everything was working fine, being fine, as long as I did long slow strokes. But that's not how I art >.> It doesn't work for me, at all.
So it's either that or it's flipping out jumping all over the place, clicking shit it shouldn't be clicking.
So now it's just... I bought a new tablet, it should be here by Monday. Or rather, BRIAN bought me a new tablet <3
And it will be here on Monday.
Which sucks since I wanted to art some of the weekend before school started.
I have unfinished coloring things, not cool.
Tabitha (my tablet) is 2 years a lil over 2 years old =/
So I guess I should have expected it.
But oh well.
