Time to finalize commissions !!!
Hi sweets, I'm making several updates here and in my personal life,
So I want to inform you about the project to catch up on the arts,
And as I noticed that the site's audience is 'changing', I also need to be aware of this and follow this change.
♥Firstly about the arts process:
In the past, art was 100% created by Photoshop, lineart and selecting colors in layers was a time-consuming process,
Now I use Firealpaca to lineart and create color layers (omg, this program is a blessing), and the painting and BG I continue to do in photoshop.
Although it seems simple, before it took me one or two days per lineart, and more time to select the colors, today I can make two linearts and color layers per day
Drawing time, before I was drawing about 8 or 9 hours a day.
Now it's literally the whole day, just stopping for food and basic needs, I know it seems exaggerated but it's what's bringing me results at the moment, so it's been like this and it will be like this if I complete all the art in the queue! (I can't even say how long I draw per day, I think 12 or 13 hours)
Unfortunately this affects my health a little, so one or two days a week I draw a little less.
I'm very, very happy and excited because I'm managing to finish one piece of art a day (my gallery is very active!)
The objective is, in addition to delivering all late artwork, to get back to my deadline when I started at FA: 2 weeks.
♥About new way of interacting on the FA:
Unfortunately, I noticed that both nasty artists and scammers have appeared here, as well as commissioners who respond rudely to artists.
I understand that it's a snowball effect, because with untrustworthy artists, we have distrustful commissioners, and they end up treating other artists with distrust.
I'm a slow artist these days, but that's it and I'm trying hard to finish everything between this and next month, but I've always been extremely polite and I DON'T ALLOW A LACK OF RESPECT OR SLANDER, as I always respond as quickly as possible (1 or 2 days).
I hate this idea of a blacklist, in the past I never acquired this idea, but from now on it will exist, because I understand people can don't like the art or the waiting time and don't want to buy anymore, but disrespect or ignorance I am absolutely against and I don't I want more of these types of people here.
And about edits, I always give the option to request edits after the art is finished, but if you ignore the finished art message for days, I will understand that it was approved.
That's it for now, I'm currently finishing a YCH and soon I'll start finishing COMMISSIONS list.
For those waiting for sketches, they will be sent in the next few days,
Icons will be made after the commissions, and then I will finish the recent YCH.

I came to bring this update mainly for those who are waiting for the sketches!
For those who haven't received the sketch yet (for approval or to request edits before I continue the art), I'm making it right now and sending it! (Sketches of commissions and YCH )
And at the moment I'm making the icons and the chibis (chibis commissions)
For YCH, part of the already approved YCH only needs painting,
so as soon as I complete the icons, chibis commissions (5 chibis) and after all sketches sent, I will return to painting YCH! (probably next week)
Anyone who has questions, wants WIPs, or any other information, feel free to ask!
I made this journal because it took me longer than usual with the sketches and I think it's good to let everyone know the order of everything in the next few days!

Warning about suspicious artist (uncommitted)

I thought carefully before writing this journal, because let's say the matter is already closed.
But I have recommended an artist of the latest collabs at various times here to everyone who follows me, and I feel that if someone ends up in a complicated situation with that artist, it would be my responsibility if I was the one who recommended her.

What happened is that I had problems with this person in the collab, I needed a certain amount of patience and care because she is not an easy person, the biggest problem is that I always did most of everything and after a more complex situation and lack of commitment of this artist, I decided to cancel the last collab with her after talking to whoever had bought it.
And then the problem came: this person didn't want to make the refund: they didn't give a date, month, or position on this, they just said 'I don't know, I can't resolve this'. It was a big problem, the dialogue with her was complicated.
Another previous collab that had been delivered to her since November, she hadn't even started her part at the beginning of January, and I had already done around 70% to help her. And she said she would finish it before the new collab (it didn't happen).
This ended up leaving me even more behind with my art, as I ended up doing an extra part of it.
I thought it was unfair that I draw every day, while someone takes days off and doesn't even warn me about the delay. It was clearly opportunism and I didn't see it before.
She only made the full refund (previously it had been partial) after I said that this was unfair because in the canceled collab she did absolutely nothing, and I also have financial problems (her excuse was always her financial problems)
After insisting more, she refunded the missing amount, but that was so tiring and unnecessary... all the delay and when finishing the last collab, she didn't even send it to me before sending it to the person who bought it (I found out that she finished it through the person who bought the art, otherwise I wouldn't even know at that moment)
Anyway... just problems and problems
Anyway, my warning is:
For artists: Be careful with collabs with this person, as they may not commit as initially agreed, and they may make some demands.
For those who buy art: as far as I know, she has never had any problems with people who buy art from her, but be careful with refunds, as it takes a lot of insistence and time for her to refund, as her interest in resolving things is minimal; Even I said no problem if it could take months or as many times as she wants, I had to insist and she only wanted a partial refund.
I love the collabs that were finished and I don't regret it, but I want to warn everyone that I was very disappointed with this person and I'm afraid of her causing problems with other people I nominated, so I don't nominate her because I don't want anyone to pass what I went through in terms of dialogue and lack of commitment from this person..
I apologize to everyone for this situation,

I'm almost getting an agreement so that I can partially pay what I owe and pay the rest in installments!! I'll be sure if that was successful on Monday! But it looks like everything is right, just sign!
It's still not 100% resolved but with this new chance I don't run the risk of having my house pawned .
I would like to thank everyone who helped me , publicizing my situation , and who asked for a commission ! Thanks to that I got the partial amount to have a chance of a deal. And I don't have words to describe how grateful I am, I was too afraid to tell about it because of the shame, but I was very well received and received many messages of support and encouragement not to give up! Even ideas to solve the problem!
FA is already part of me, this year I'm completing 10 years on the site, and it's part of my history, certainly this support was the greatest gift I could receive!

It's still not 100% resolved but with this new chance I don't run the risk of having my house pawned .

I've been in a very complicated financial situation for a few months now. The post-pandemic crisis, the lack of work, my tiredness after my move, everything put me in a very complicated situation with finances, mainly because my partner was out of work for many months and I tried to pay for everything by myself, drawing and when I didn't have offers, tried to cook cakes, but it didn't work because I had to choose my time between selling the cakes or drawing, and I prioritize drawing.

I apologize for the delay for a new journal, but I think it's necessary!
I've been updating the last journal before this on, with the finished arts and the process, but I think it got a little confusing because not everyone follows the existing journal.
I confess that my life after the move was a mess (not that different from before my move) .
I had a lot of psychological pressure, and I'm learning to deal with it in a positive way and get back to being more productive!
And I imagine everyone goes through this, it's just something to suit the new life, and new expectations!
I'm opening a few YCH recently, because my focus is to finish the arts in process, but I'll still keep opening new arts, even if few, because I need to pay my bills, and if I can't sell them, I end up opening more arts to get myself maintain financially (I know, it snowballs) . I'm opening myself up in this journal, because I think it's fair to explain in more detail the reason for the delay in the arts and to avoid misunderstandings, like which occurred after the other journal, causing dissatisfaction in some people (but everything was resolved)
Really appreciate everyone's understanding and feel free to send messages, notes, and discord messages with questions and WIP requests! I try to respond to messages every day!

How is the beginning of your year? Here's some crazy stuff, I'm trying to organize my time with assembling furniture, remodeling, arts and stuff (I'm exhausted and it seems like it never ends, hahaha help)
And this has been making me late with updates
I noticed that not everyone asks in private about the arts, and that makes it seem like there are no updates, but there are, I draw almost every day, I've just been a little tired with all this madness of moving, renovating and financial problems D;
And I have finish arts to post, I'm so messed up that I ended up not posting in the gallery yet!

Each art in its own time, some are very fast, because they have the BG ready, they are characters with simpler patterns, others can take much longer, because they need specific BG, characters with wings, details, details that were specially requested for the art. That's why I can't give time to each art, I've tried to do this before and I end up not being able to predict exactly.
There are arts that can take a day to complete, and others up to 5 days.

Updates! (27 August)
Posted 3 years agoHello sweets, I came to update you (since in the last journal I was sick)!
I'm better and I'm already in the last days drawing!!!
Obviously, as I still have arts in progress, I haven't opened new ych in the last few weeks, as soon as I finish, I'll be able to open more (I put a ych limit in progress, so as I finish, I can open more arts, to try to keep organized, since my process of finalizing the arts is slow)
I am currently finalizing and submitting the YCH White Bunny (I usually try to wait for your response before posting the art, in case you ask for edits, but in some cases I post it in the gallery before)
The references YCH are missing only two, which are missing few details!
I have great doubt if I open new slots in the future, because it is something very laborious, and if I do, there will be few slots.
And the biggest doubt is certainly about the progress of the commissions (following the icons), this is something that I actually delayed a lot, and as it is a set of arts, they will be done and finished little by little, in the next journal I intend to bring the full update of the commissions, as many are in the middle of the sketch
I really appreciate everyone's patience, and I know that this update wasn't so detailed, because I'm still going to make a list of all the arts and put the stage that each one is.
Now I'm focusing on finishing the arts that are mid-progress, as getting sick slowed me down a lot (it's not just getting sick's fault only , I was already late)
I hope in the next few days to post several finish arts in a row!!!!
And of course, thank you all so much for the wishes for my health to improve while I was sick, I am very happy and touched when I see that people understand the situation, because I feel very guilty when it takes me even longer to deliver the arts. It helps me see everything more clearly and focus more when I get better. Because normally after something like this I get desperate to do the arts and this feeling of despair only gets in my way and makes me more disorganized, it's a big flaw of mine.

I wanted to apologize for the last days I've been sick and I'm in bed.
I have a really bad flu (I hope it doesn't last long) and I'm not able to do basic activities right now!

These last few days I was inactive, because I had very complicated unforeseen events.
I'm in the process of moving house, it's been very tiring looking for a house to live in, but that's not what occupied my last days.
I was robbed at gunpoint, and had to spend most of the last few days of the week looking for documents, insurance, calling banks to block cards, and going to the police station.
I apologize for the disappearance, and now I'm returning to continue the arts in progress!!
Any question or wip request, please feel free to send comment or note!!!

I come to bring updates for the artworks in progress, currently there are chibis, icons, commissions and YCH artworks being done,
Today I'm finishing a set of YCH that I finished and soon I'll start the following YCH!
That's why there are so many sketches, I do them in art groups separated by dates!
(I hope it doesn't get confusing, but if it does, feel free to post questions and ask for details!!!)

I wanted to thank everyone for their patience! And update on the arts these days,
I finished some artwork out of order (I'm sorry for that) and I'm going to post it bit by bit in the gallery, I'm finishing two YCHs today and tomorrow (Alice and Rainbow sky).
Don't be surprised if you see posted artwork and I still haven't delivered yours,
all are in process, but some more advanced than others! (Most in lineart, just missing colors and BG)
I apologize to those waiting for the References, I'm doing it calmly because it's a lot of information (I really miscalculated thinking I could do so many at once!! )
But I'll deliver them all with care and whimsy, I promise!!
