working on...
Posted 4 years agoclearing out that big honkin' journal from last year - keeping this short and sweet (short for me, lmao).
Working through a big list of comms booked at the end of March 'til end of May / early June, then spending the rest of June working on a book of some kind (TBD). July might be my next comm opening, I'll update my comm site once I have a concrete date.
Next book to come out is a previously unplanned dragon romance / knightly courting / TF porn that came from reading too much fantasy and playing too much Ass Creed. Abe is killing the story and I'm very happy w/ the art so far (unusual for me since I'm normally horrible about my own stuff haha). Don't have a release date for it yet but I'll edit this when I do. A few previews / WIPs have gone up on Twitter so thanks to folks who have been very kind there.
Other than that, just got my second shot, and I'm looking forward to being able to visit Abe soon, which has me in a good mood most of the time. Hope everyone is staying safe!

wrapping up 2020
Posted 5 years agoIt's been so long since I journaled on here that I literally forgot where to click to make one...
Anyway, a few things!
Commissions
I get a lot of questions about how to commission me / whether I'm open / when I will reopen. This is kind of exhausting and I'm working on managing it better, but the point of this journal is so hopefully that happens less. Commissions are still not the majority of my income, so even though I have been taking more of them in the past year or so I still need to have time for the rest of the work I need to do.
The reality of where I'm at with commissions is that demand for my art far outstrips my ability to produce it, even though I've done a lot of work to streamline my process. My YCHs sell out very quickly and when I open for pinups I usually have to close fairly quickly to avoid getting overwhelmed with responses - 99% of the time these offers don't make it to FA because by the time I would post here, my availability is already spoken for. Because of this, the vast majority of heads up for these availabilities has been given via my commission website and twitter.
What this actually means in a purely supply / demand sense is that my prices are too low and I need to reevaluate them, but I'm hesitant to raise them RN because I know the economy has not been kind to most people this year and I'm trying to be sensitive to that. I'm looking at a bunch of options and leaning towards being pickier about what I'm willing to take on.
TL;DR I'm closed right now and won't be opening for regular pinups again this year (maybe a few more YCHs, I'm not sure yet). I need to figure out how I want to rework my process with respect to the above. This is not a call for advice, BTW. I just wanted to give some level of explanation since it's the thing I get asked about the most frequently.
Website
I'm usually pretty behind posting stuff to FA - it's available on my website (monstrousdoctor.com) way sooner than it makes it on here. The site aims to update the first Tuesday of every month and sometimes achieves that, haha.
Books
In the last year I've released 3 books, which is a record for me! Pool Shark, MonClass and Mark of the Worm all received a great reception (Monclass especially, you guys loved that one) and I'm really grateful for it. For next year, I'm tentatively planning:
Bug Bites, an insect / arachnid TF - themed anthology with stories and art
MonClass 2
Candybombed 2 (yes, finally)
and maybe one more, depending. I love working on these because they let me do longer form TF stuff and develop the characters a lot more, which is probably also why I end up doing so many sequels.
Anyway, I hope everyone has a happy and healthy holiday to cap off 2020. It's been a year and I think we all deserve a chill one.

AC 2019
Posted 6 years agoTime for the annual FA journal, haha.
For those of you who are interested, I'm booked in to be at Anthrocon w/ Abe and Therian from Thursday the 4th through the following Monday. We're hosting an adult TF panel on Satuday night at midnight (AC's schedule, confusingly, lists it as 00:00 on Sunday, which I guess is true). There's a little more info here:
https://anthrocon2019.sched.com/eve.....-after-dark-18
The last 2 times we've run the TF after dark panel it's been a blast. Since we've done the "getting right with your shit and exploring it with other people" panel twice, this time I figured we'd mix it up and talk about the particular trials and tribulations of making TF content. What's good inspo for TF art? What is the best perspective to write a story from? How do you keep the horny fresh the 1,782nd time?
Otherwise, I'll be around hanging out with folks and doing art (I'm not taking commissions, sorry). Feel free to say hi!
If you're curious why I haven't been uploading much, there's 2 reasons. 1 is that my job has been extremely demanding (more than ever.... ugh) for about the last 6 months or so. I'm definitely looking to make a move but 60 hour workweeks don't leave you with a lot of time or energy to get your portfolio updated (even though I have a lot of new stuff that will look great in it). I'm still trying to figure out how to handle the situation, tbh.
The other reason is because I'm working on a new book! Abe has the story written and it's incredibly hot. We wanted to do a take on an Isekai, but like, what if those went in the way we liked, haha. The plot revolves around a girl who gets chosen to participate in an exclusive beta for her favorite total immersion VR MMO and ends up having to deal with a pretty big glitch; one that is slowly re-assigning her class to "prestige monster".
I have about a quarter(?) of the art done, so it's coming along slowly but surely. Hopefully work will quiet down soon so I can bang out the rest of it.

contact info
Posted 7 years agoSince this has come up a few times lately and people have asked me to clarify:
Ways you can contact me
Before I get into it, I should mention that all my preferred contacts are available as links on my website:
http://monstrousdoctor.com/
(check the bottom where my name is next to a bunch of icons. That lists most of the major sites I'm on.)
Email is my preferred form for longer questions or comments, especially things where you are expecting a thoughtful response. My gmail, which is linked from my website, is the appropriate email to use. Please don't use my yahoo. It's had major security issues for years (because yahoo is terrible, actually). I've removed it from my profile here, which was the last site where it was still listed, AFAIK.
For short form / social interaction, Twitter or Mastodon is a good bet. My twitter is listed in my profile on here and I'm angrboda[at]awoo.space on mastodon. I use twitter much less frequently and prefer mastodon, but I understand that some folks find it confusing and many more people already have a twitter.
I also have asks open on tumblr for both named and anonymous users. If you want to send me a message or question but for whatever reason you don't want me to have your contact info, that's the ticket. Please don't abuse this feature, as I'd prefer to keep anon asks open for folks who are sensitive or secretive about interacting with the NSFW community.
If you are going to contact me about commissions to inquire about openings, please don't. I am not open. In the event that I open for commissions at any point I will announce it on social.
Ways not to contact me:
Shouts on my page - I won't see these because I don't check them. If you are having some kind of issue or need a response from me, please use any of the above methods.
FA Notes - I keep these closed as a matter of policy. I greatly dislike the notes system here and prefer not to use it.
Transfur messages - Ditto the above except there's no way to close them so they just sit there.
Telegram - Please don't guess my telegram and message me. I use it for keeping up with people I'm close to, and not for talking to folks I don't know.
Skype - Ditto the above. I don't use Skype anymore since it's insecure and the interface is extremely bad.
Please understand that as someone who has been doing fetish art on the internet for a decade+ it is just much much easier and better for me to limit the amount of sites that I'm contactable on. I try to be as friendly online as I can but my time and social energy are unfortunately pretty limited. Thanks!

to do
Posted 9 years agoThis month is exceptionally busy for work and non work related reasons, but here's my to-do in case anyone wants to know what's upcoming:
1) The colored sketch for the winner of the raffle who has been really patient while I finished Escape
2) A short story / snippet / picture combo as a thank you to everyone for the success of the last book. I'm leaning towards something TGTF-ish, so if that's your bag, get hype I guess! Those of you who bought it might be interested to know that it centers around some of the redacted information in the Appendix.
3) I'm doing all the lineart for Abe's next anthology (which we're back and forth about the name of) that centers around a fantasy universe and an exploration of some TF phenomena + cute girls within that setting. We might have a guest colorist if we can iron out a few details (and depending on their availability) which could be very cool. This book will have about 12 pieces of art (three for each story) which is much more than we've done for one of his story collections in the past. All the writing so far is excellent (IMO), and I'm really happy to be moving forward with it.
4) I have two podcast episodes in the works, when we can get recording sorted out. One of them is a mini-episode with just me and Abe, and one aims to have the whole cast.

hello 2016
Posted 9 years agoHey internet!
Just wanted to drop in and mention a couple of things in case people were wondering what was up with me.
I haven't had a ton of time for art in the past couple of months because we finally bought a house! And the purchasing process / packing / cleaning / unpacking has taken up most of my (non-work) daylight hours. I'm trying to dig up some stuff I haven't posted yet so I can at least have some content.
I have my desk set up at the new house and I've started finding time to put some work in on the next couple of projects from Chain Reaction. I have two that I've been doing art for, concurrently, but I'm shifting my focus to one of them to try to push and get it done.
The one that will come out soonest is tentatively titled Escape from the Zone; and it's a sequel to the Abduction + Life in the Zone stories. Abe already has the story written and I'm about halfway through the art. If you're into TF, dragon girls, monster sex, and eggs, it's definitely gonna be up your alley.
The other one I'm not quite ready to promo yet, but it's a remix of arguably my most popular sequence ever. I have a couple of sneak peeks floating around on my tumblr, but nothing definitive up yet.
After / along with that, we have Candybombed 2 on the way, as well as an original book with 4 new short stories focused around monstergirls in a fantasy setting. I have a couple of concepts for the latter on my tumblr, as well.
The next con I should be at is FE in March. I won't be working the con, but I might have something cool in store if I can get my affairs in order enough by then. I guess we'll see!
Sorry for rambling. Thanks for reading!

double helix RSS feed
Posted 10 years agoThanks again to everyone who responded to the last journal!
Since I've been asked about this a bunch, we now have an RSS feed set up for Double Helix here:
http://feeds.feedburner.com/double_helix
So now you can subscribe to us on your phone or computer! The feed is updated when the new mp3 is posted to our Tumblr, so it will sometimes update before the new cast is available on FA.
We've been really gratified by the number of people who have sent us wonderful notes, comments, letters, and general feedback. I'm really glad that the podcast seems to be helping people even a little, which is more than we could have asked for, really. Thank you again to all of our great listeners.

double helix - call for questions
Posted 10 years agoNext week the whole cast of the podcast gets to spend some time together in person, and in honor of this super rare occasion, we're recording an episode (I even bought a nice new microphone so the sound quality will hopefully be much better than usual). I have a list of topics we could use, but I wanted to give people the opportunity to suggest some questions they would want discussed on air.
Comment here to submit them, or you can submit an ask via our tumblr:

Thanks, everyone!

work status
Posted 10 years agoA couple of things that are in the works / being released:
--
I just finished up the layout for abeeseedy's sequel / follow up to his first anthology, Shortcuts. Shortcuts 2 is definitely a step up (writers improve too, haha) but it absolutely reps the spirit and content of the original. You can grab it for five bucks or pick up the original shortcuts for the sale price of three dollars on http://www.monstrousdoctor.com/chainreaction
I didn't do any art for Shortcuts 2 (the same as the original) because we wanted to keep it cheap and accessible, but we have at least 2 big collaborative projects planned that I will be drawing a ton of stuff for (one of them being Candybombed 2, which I'm extremely hype for).
--
I have a set of comms well underway at the moment; so I should have some cool stuff to post soon.
This is the queue:
1) Marhawa Swifthoof
2) Lyctiger
3) Gibbs
4) Krinn
5) Tiv
6) Stajan
commissioners can check my progress on this spreadsheet:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet.....UnQJk8/pubhtml
--
If you're looking for someone to commission, I'm not open at the moment but I can rec three very good, reliable artists that you should check out who open much more frequently than I do:
fringedog is super reasonable, very easy to work with, and does some awesome work, TF and otherwise. I've used him as a colorist before and every time I work with him he does a great job. His stuff keeps getting better!
ripperelite we just had the pleasure of getting to work with Rip again on shortcuts 2, and it's always a good experience. She's bangin at a ton of subjects from squeaky clean to mega raunchy, and has drawn some really hot TF stuff as well. Her prices are very reasonable and she's always on top of her queue.
nyomi is really really solid at lighter stuff and has a super charming style and a great work ethic. I've gotten a ton of stuff from her over the years and I'm always really happy with what she produces. She's very timely and does a lot of work in streams.

re: entitlement
Posted 10 years agoJust wanted to make a note here because I've been uploading more, and the stuff I've been making has been single mid-tf type pieces. These almost always bring on "make this a sequence!" type comments, and I just wanted to politely ask that people stop doing this.
What you're actually saying to me when you reply with like "I need to see the final form" or "sequence plox" or whatever is:
1) "I don't appreciate the work that you've done"
2) "I want you to do more of it for free, even though I just said that other thing"
I draw mid TF pics because full color pics take me 3-5 hours each and I don't often have time to draw sequences. I also like leaving stuff up to the viewer's imagination - that way if you want to imagine that the girl turns into a full animal, or a taur, or whatever, you totally can!
Sorry for the rant, it's just really really discouraging to spend a lot of time on something and have a bunch of people complaining that you don't then spend more time on an extra thing. It definitely discourages me from posting my porn, and I'm assuming that's the opposite of what you want, if you're following me here.
Thanks for understanding, dudes, hopefully you'll keep digging my output!

a couple quick things
Posted 10 years agoFirst of all, just wanted to say, in order to make it easier for me to keep track of correspondence, I've disabled notes on FA. I can still get messages on Transfur, but the best way to contact me is through e-mail:
monstrousdoctor[at]gmail.com
if you need to get a hold of me for some reason.
As for what I'm working on right now, I'm putting the finishing touches on Atomic, my second artbook. I'm really proud of it, and I'm excited to have it to offer to you guys! It has a LOT of stuff people have been asking for for a long time - I'm super psyched. I also have 1 more misc small project (a comic page) that I should be finishing up around the same time that should be pretty sweet!
After Atomic is wrapped, I'm considering opening for an extremely limited number of commissions at a new price point while I'm getting the next book sorted, so if you've been wondering when that will happen, this is your heads up. I'm trying to figure out a system that allows me to make the process of accepting a limited amount of work fairly easy; probably something involving a form. I don't have much time for administrative type stuff anymore and I definitely need a better system than my current one.

I don't have much time for administrative type stuff anymore and I definitely need a better system than my current one.
project update
Posted 10 years agoHey guys - it's been a while so I thought I'd do a general 'projects update journal' since I've had a few inquiries:
----
Chain Reaction
I finally got Hive Mind wrapped up with the help of my patient and gracious partner in crime, and we are super happy with the reception it's received. Thank you to all of you who bought it or even said you were interested - it's great to know that we can do something a little weirder and outside our (especially my) safety zone and people will still dig it.
We should have a pretty sweet bonus image going up on FA soon that I just hammered out the sketch for that I hope you guys will all enjoy; it's a follow up to the end of the story since I had a few people express that they'd like to see that scene extended.
As another gesture of thanks for all the support we've seen for the last 2 books especially, our next project is another freebie; a cleaned up illustrated adaptation of one of Abe's oldest projects. We have some copy editing left to do, and I'm hopefully going to add another illustration to it, to beef it up a little more before we offer it for download.
After that, I have one more book in the works that's about halfway done: Atomic; my next artbook. There's a little more info about it on the site.
----
Double Helix
Episode 2 is recorded and has been for a while, but because of a dumb technical issue that was my fault, there was a lot of work to do in post. We should have it for you guys soon! Our next episode after that is going to be about problematic fetish issues: what happens when your favorite thing is uh... not so nice?
Abe wrote up a really nice post on the tumblr blog here:
http://double-helix-cast.tumblr.com.....e-tf-community
about getting into the TF community that might be helpful to those of you with questions about that!
I'd like to do more text stuff on the blog (or even short recorded answers to questions if that seems cool) so if you have any suggestions for topics or questions, feel free to send us a message on tumblr.
----
Speaking of tumblrs I've actively been trying to post more on mine:
http://monstrousdoctor.tumblr.com/
which has some art that doesn't get uploaded to this gallery. Check it out if you'd like!

chain reaction
Posted 11 years agoHey guys!
Just dropping in a note that our new website is now up!
http://www.monstrousdoctor.com/chainreaction/
Chain Reaction is a joint effort between me and abeeseedy to catalogue all our art and story anthologies as well as give us a place to post cool free stuff as well! On that note, we have a couple fun freebies for you guys available on Chain Reaction:
- An edited and book-ified version of both of Abe's Futa Werewolf stories, including three new illustrations by me!
- An edited and slightly retooled version of Abduction: Life in the Zone
Once I can get the material scanned and edited, the site will also include a gallery of concepts / sketches / bonus art for each of the characters in our stories.
Hope you guys like it! Thanks again for all your support <3

the zillionth AC journal
Posted 11 years agoI'll be at AC later today through Sunday. Give me a holler on twitter if you want to hang out! I'm not dealing or doing the alley so it's all chill all the time, baby.
what happened to the podcast
Posted 11 years agoSo a lot of people have asked me about the podcast, and for a long time I didn't know how to respond or what my plans were for it, but here's the final situation:
The Test Chamber is officially done. I'm not doing more episodes of it.
Instead, I'm happy to announce that later this summer I'm launching a new TF themed podcast that will follow the format of the third episode: same cast, same level of discussion (read: extremely adult). We're calling it Double Helix, and it should be a really good time. I'm currently cutting Episode 0, which is a re-release of the old Episode 3 with some edits / cleanup.
The next part I'm not saying on behalf of anyone else or as any kind of spokesperson; it's just me.
Because I know questions are inevitable, this is what I will say regarding my decision and the reasoning behind it: I'm starting over because of a super unfortunate personal situation that eventually culminated in a whole lot of being treated really badly by a third party, to the extent that I'd rather just be done with everything involved and start fresh. One of those things is the podcast.
That said, the goal of the show was always to be about sex and community and friendship in the context of this weird thing we like. I love talking about this stuff and I think just having that discussion out there is important; sometimes just knowing other people think about and talk about it, too, is enough to make you feel a little better and less alone. I never wanted to let anyone take that away from me, but I almost did, and I'm sorry for that.
We have a really good topic for the first new recording, so I hope you'll give it a shot! See you on the internet airwaves soon, guys!

additional art
Posted 11 years agoJust a heads up; I revived my tumblr:
http://monstrousdoctor.tumblr.com
I'm trying to use it to post some quicker stuff, and sketches and development stuff for the pay things I'm working on since I obviously can't post the finished art. I've been trying to push myself to at least doodle every day, so knock on everything I hope that continues, for sure. Some of it is going to be crossposts for people who don't follow FA, but I'll try my best to make sure the 'exclusive' content balances that out. Thanks guys!

what's up
Posted 11 years agoOkay! Finally getting back, for real this time :T
As of this past weekend, according to my records, I have all my old pending work that isn't a comic totally wrapped. Thank you to everyone for being patient with me!
I have two comic things left to work on for clients. One of them is a single page fantasy / tiefling TF, and the other one is a beast of a 5 page comic that is the spiritual sequel to Rubba called "The Protege". I'm currently finishing up inking both of them, and I'm super happy with how they're looking and excited to be able to have some comic stuff to post, again.
A lot of people have asked me what my plans are in terms of re-opening for comms, now that I'm more or less caught up. The honest answer to that is "I don't know". Work is great, but I have so much going on there that I couldn't talk about even if I wanted to (and I do, it's all super good but also very intense) that it's often hard to find the time to come home and work on client stuff.
For the time being, I'm planning on offering small batches of event-based stuff like preposes as time allows. Preposes are great for me with my current schedule because I can get a good chunk of the work done before I've even opened for them. I've been taking these pay on completion because I'm not sure what the turnaround will be, and seriously bless the people who got them because I have had zero issues with that setup. Last time I opened for these, I sold them all via Twitter, so I guess that's the best place to look if you're interested in snagging one. As always, I'm @doctorboda, but I also tweet a lot about my dumb life, so follow me at your own discretion.
I'll be at AC later this summer, but I won't be dealing or doing artists' alley. I'm considering possibly offering a couple of spots of traditional art for pickup/delivery at the con if I have time, so I'll let you guys know if that ends up being the case.
In terms of upcoming projects that aren't commissions, I have two books that I've been working my butt off on:
• The next one to see release will be Classical Conditioning, a collab between me and abeeseedy. CC is the story of a girl who ends up stranded at a lodge in the mountains, where the generous/mysterious owner has lost her precious dog (and if you know us, you know where this is going). Abe wrote the story, and I did the illustrations, so format wise this is pretty much along the same lines as Candybombed, the illustrated story I released last May.
• after that is Atomic; is the sequel artbook to Injection. Atomic is shorter, but much, much more adult, including comic pages and a centerpiece illustrated story. Atomic serves up a ton of different fetishes in addition to TF, from latex and robots, to tentacles and corruption.
That's it! Thanks for reading, guys. I'll do my best to keep updating as things move along. Stay weird! :3

update (my most used journal title ever)
Posted 11 years agoI guess once you start getting "is this a dead account" shouts, you should probably update some shit. A couple of things for tonight, while I have a spare 5 mins (and not a lot more than that, ugh).
1) Art will be coming back shortly, just have to figure out a couple of things first. I have a bunch of stuff done and ready to post (I might post this cool freebie story / art thing tonight as a thank you for everyone's patience) and as soon as I have the time, I'd like to sit down and plough through all of it.
2) In three days I'm leaving for FWA. If you're planning on being at the con, feel free to say hi! I'm not planning on doing the alley at this point, and I'm done being a formal dealer at cons more or less forever hopefully, so sorry if you were excited for art. I'll have a sketchbook with me, and I've never been to a con I didn't draw at, but for right now I'm out of the for profit game at cons.
3) I'm looking forward to updating my queue and getting the last stuff still pending sorted when I get back. It's mostly edits, tweaks, and a couple comics things that are in various stages of progress. Thanks everyone for being mega patient; I'm working hard to make stuff worth the wait.
4) I have two pretty cool projects in the works that I should be able to talk more about post-fwa, when I have more time to get some info together.
5) If you're going to ask what happened to me, or to this or that project, please don't. I hate having to delete comments and shouts or whatever, but please understand that now is not the time for me to talk about any of it, and the demands for info are just... ugh. Someday maybe, when I've had more time to frame my thoughts or whatever or understand what it is that I need to say about my experiences for my own sake, I dunno. Understanding, as always, is appreciated.
Thanks, dudes!

BUY THIS THING:

Abe is super awesome and I cannot say enough that if you like what I like, you will like this story collection. Also I did the formatting so if you like choice typography while you read about girls growing dicks, there's that.

update i guess
Posted 12 years agoSort of back, sort of not, still getting crap figured out in terms of trying to get work done around my regular schedule.
I'm sorry I was so out of it for so long - I let a bunch of stuff get to me really hard; just super shitty personal struggle garbage. I really appreciate how cool and patient everyone has been while I try to find a new status quo; I think the time away helped and I hope the quality of the new stuff I'm doing makes it worth it. I've really been trying to push myself and finish up old projects as well as stuff from my backlog so hopefully soon I will have something cool for you guys.
Also, I wanted to let people know that this friday therian and I are leaving for our honeymoon, so we'll both be out of the country and incommunicado until pretty much the end of October. After that, hopefully I can step it up a little.
Thanks again, guys.

closing comms and other info
Posted 12 years agoOkay, second try since FA ate the first one:
Some of you who follow me on twitter already know this, but yesterday I got confirmation that I've gotten a new full-time gig that I have been prepping for, interviewing for, and stressing about for the last several weeks. It is a huge personal and professional opportunity for me and I am mega excited.
What does this mean for furry stuff, and commissions?
Commissions are closing, as of today. As soon as I'm done writing this (for the second time, ugh) I'm going to change the info in my profile to reflect this.
If you have a comm pending with me that has already been paid for that is not a comic, it will be done before I start my new job.
If you have an email in with me regarding a commission, I am going to try to prioritize what I can get done and what I don't have time for in the next two weeks. After that I'm planning on giving people the option of remaining in the queue and just waiting for me to have time to get to it at night after work, or canceling.
If you were looking to get stuff from me and are now mega sad, you should really check out
blackshirtboy
whose work is amazing and prices, frankly, way more competitive than mine. He is also super reliable and quick and an all around stand up guy.
Will I reopen for comms after my work is done? I haven't decided yet. I'm thinking now that I might open sporadically as i have time for smaller projects at night or on the weekend, but right now nothing is concrete.
As far as still drawing furry stuff, I have been drawing this crap since I was seven and I will probably never be able to stop, haha. Really, this gives me the time to work on my own personal projects, which makes me pretty happy. I've had an art book on the verge of being done for years that I want to finish, as well as another illustrated story (for which the story is done and the art is started) in the works, as well as some more pie in the sky projects like the TF h-game I have a bunch of art done for as well as the card game we beta'd at AC… Basically, my point is that I'm in too deep and love you all too much to ever leave.
If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to email me, but response might be slow while I get this stuff sorted. Thanks, guys!

anthrocon - dealer info, presale badges, etc.
Posted 12 years agoFirst of all before I get into AC info, I want to thank everyone who has waited super patiently while I had to take most of this past week off from fandom stuff in order to pursue some professional opportunities. For now, that stuff is pretty settled (at least on my end) minus an interview Monday, which is really exciting but which I am hopefully already pretty prepped for.
Second, if you are interested in getting a digital badge from me (that comes printed, laminated, and clipped) for pickup at AC, I am opening five spots for them. I am mentioning this because I get a lot of people at cons asking about the digital badges and for logistical reasons I can only offer them pre and post - con.
Badges are $45 for waist-up and $55 for full body. Here are samples of the waist-up badges:
http://www.monstrousdoctor.com/sample/waist-up.jpg
If you want one just for you (or a friend), ready for pickup in the Dealer's Den, contact me by email:
monstrousdoctor[at]gmail.com
please include a visual ref or good written description of your character, your character's name, and an activity or pose you'd like for the badge.

4)
5)
Okay, now that that's out of the way, Anthrocon info:
I'll be there from Thursday afternoon (the 4th) until Monday, some time. We're not absolutely sure when we will be heading home on Monday, but we'll be there at least until then.
For the first year ever, I'll be in the Dealer's Den instead of the Artists' Alley. My table is B16. I will have a super fresh supply of my kickin new business cards and will be offering a variety of commission types. It is a really good idea if you're interested in getting art from me to find me sooner rather than later because I tend to book up early.
One cool commission type I'm offering this year that I have never offered at a con are spiffy colored ink paintings, which I've been posting samples of to Twitter.
I'm staying at the Marriott, but will be hanging out in the convention center and the Westin probably a lot. I will have a playable prototype of I Can't Fap to This with me and will be testing it at the con with friends and possibly with people who are interested in playing. I can't guarantee anyone a play since I only have one copy, but at least you can check it out. I will not have copies of it for sale; that is something that is possible somewhere down the road but is not even in the works yet.
Sorry for the super long winded journal! Hope everyone is doing well ~
