Post AC ramblings
Posted 16 years agoHey guys!
Finally settling back to normal here post-con. I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank everyone who I got a chance to talk to in Pitt.
therian did a nice wrap-up in his journal, and since we were together most of the time, I'm going to mention a lot of the same people, but here goes anyway.
taki,
catmonkshiro, and
soba were all awesome and wonderful and lovely to meet in person. A special thanks goes out to a few of my wonderful patrons
tamarik,
starpaw, and
lunarkeys who were patient and a blast to work for and hang out with. These are just the people I chilled with the most, but I do want to thank the many other people who stopped by to say hi to me in the alley or picked up something at my table, or just flipped through my portfolio.
I'm still convinced that the TF fandom are the nicest, coolest guys and gals in the fandom at large and I'd be happy to hang out with all of you again!
I'll be uploading a few things in the next couple days, some of which are leftovers from AC (some of them I can't upload cause I'm still hellbent on putting them in my book!) and some of which are just miscellaneous art that I've had lying around.
I'll also be making a couple of announcements and junk, so this page will be far from quiet :3

PS: I did get my markers back, herp derp, so thanks everyone for your kind concern, and thanks constaff for putting up with my airheaded ass :P

AC status
Posted 16 years agoHey guys, I have a favor to ask.
I got a table at Artist's Alley at AC the first day I could (friday), and everything was going great. Unfortunately, when I went to leave, I asked my boyfriend to pack up while I cashed in the paid vouchers for what I had made that day. Stupidly, I forgot to check to make sure everything had been packed (my fault, really dumb of me) and I left a few things there,
a pair of scissors,
9x12 sheet protectors,
and most importantly a green anthrocon bag with a lot of prismacolor and blick brand markers in it.
I've checked with lost and found and with consaff, and I haven't had any luck recovering my stuff.
If anyone can locate this stuff, and return it to me, you'd have my gratitude and I'd be happy to pay what I can as a reward if you'd like.
Please note me if you have any info.
Thanks guys.

finally
Posted 16 years agoScreen exposed yessssss.
The IGR shirt exposure came out damn near perfect. The science one might be a bit more vintage-y than planned, we'll see how the test prints go.
Shirts have arrived, so printing will begin once I have time to run tests (probably Thursday night; as much as I want to run them RIGHT NOW, my dayjob is keeping my ass busy tomorrow all day and evening).
For the record, the stonewash green is the EXACT color I wanted for the science shirts; I am psyched!
Did I mention the shirts are all tagless? Yeah. I hate itchy tags.

those things you wear outside your flesh
Posted 16 years agoShirts for printing are on order.
Science shirts are going to be done in M,L, and XL on both stonewash green, and lime for those of you who like your colors a little brighter.
Caduceus shirts are on black in M, L, XL, fatigue green in L and XL, and charcoal heather in M (hopefully, due to the Ms in fatigue green being out of stock).
Once the prints run I'll have photos for the showing.

commissions - sequence slots plus new rules
Posted 16 years agoUPDATE: SPOTS ARE FILLED.
I got a bigger response than expected, so I have to sort through these and get back to the commissioners individually. I have to pick two out of the bunch I got and then figure out what to do with the rest regarding a queue or whatever.
____________________________________________________
It's that time again, open season for TF sequences. I haven't been open for these in a while, but I've caught up on a lot of stuff and even though there are a few more things I need to finish, I'm going to open up two slots for sequences.
But first, I need to mention a few things.
__________________________________________
NEW RULES:
First of all, prices are going up. I'm doing away with the single panel / multiple panel differentiation to give myself more creative license with the comic flow, so be advised that sequence pages are going to be multiple panel from now on unless the commissioner requests a splash page specifically (that means one panel only).
Anyway, the new prices:
inks only: $30 per page
inks and colors: $40 per page
(as always, price increases will not affect commissions I am already working on, so if we have talked about your commission/I have received a script from you/you have gotten sketches from me, these don't apply to you.)
As always, writing and lettering are included free with every commission at the discretion of the commissioner.
My new policy for payment is going to be that half of the total price is owed upon completion/approval of the sketches and the other half upon completion of the finals. For colored pieces, instead of paying half after sketches, you pay half after the sketches are approved and I have also finished the inks and let you know that they are done.
Commissions are payable by paypal or by postal money order for those of us who are sans-paypal. I do no accept cash or checks. All commissioners, regardless of method of payment, must be OVER 18. I am not drawing pornography, but this is fetish material and I am not working for minors. Period.
Speaking of which, ratings are G through R. If there are elements of your idea that you're concerned will not fly with me, I have a very detailed description of "will"s and "won't"s which I can provide for you.
Hopefully that addresses everything rules wise. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me via email: angrboda_husky[at]yahoo.com

What is open:
TWO SPOTS for
One sequence, from one (1) to three (3) pages, either in black and white (inks only) or inked and colored, depending on what the commissioner wants.
TO GET A SPOT
email me at angrboda_husky[at]yahoo.com with the following information:
1) Desired length, in pages
2) color or black and white
3) a description of the character involved, and how they should look both before and after the transformation (any reference images you may have would be appreciated)
4) a description of the scenario (trigger, story elements, etc.)
5) your username on FA
I will choose which commissions to pick up based on how well I feel I can meet the needs of the commissioner. After I've filled the spots, I'll edit this journal accordingly.
PLEASE DO NOT COMMISSION ME IF:
1) You do not have the money to pay for it, or you feel you won't have the money to pay for it upon its completion.
2) You need it, like, next week. I don't work that fast. If you really don't want to wait, there are lots of artists on FA who can get it done faster than me.
Anyway, sorry for being so long winded. Thanks for reading.

I took the first five people that commented + noted me. If you wanted in but didn't get a slot, don't worry, there will be more opportunities in the future, possibly with a different kind of commission :3
So I finished up the first round of these, and wanted to give some more people a chance to get in on them if they wanted. This time, there are FOUR slots available.
The specifics are the same as last time:
A single panel, 8x10, with inks and one color.
Examples here from round one:

You pick: The subject, the color, the scenerio. One character only (full body), no background, ratings from G-R (tasteful nudity, no sex). Can be TF, furry, or just plain human if you want.
Cost is $20, payable by paypal or postal money order. Commissioner receives high res digital file (300dpi) via e-mail. You will receive a sketch proof before payment. I will notify you upon the completion of the pic and then take payment, then send the final file.
To get a spot:
comment on this journal and send me a note with a description of what you're looking for, including a descrip of the character, scenerio, and the color you're picking. In your note please include an e-mail address where you can be reached for sending the sketch proof and final image.

steffoa few of your favorite things
Posted 17 years agoHey guys,
Still plugging away over here. Been working on the project a little bit, and I'm trying to incorporate a few things I really like about TF and a few things I've wanted to try, but I'm curious.
So, dudes and dudettes, what do you like to see in a TF? I'm talking species, degree of TF (full vs. anthro), gender, trigger, etc. Anything specific?
I'm just asking so I can get a broader input, so the final product of my labor is something the community at large is more likely to enjoy. I'm not really looking for detailed scenerios so much as like, your favorite triggers, or the three species you like to see incorporated in teefs the most or whatever.

evil laughter ensues
Posted 17 years agoSo personal work may not be appearing as much from me because I am devoting time to a SECRET PROJECT mwahaha. But seriously, I think it has the potential to be extremely awesome, and there is the distinct possibility that more details will be released in the near future... as soon as I figure out how long this sucker is going to be.
I am also working on a couple of commissions, both of which are in the sketch phase right now, and shaping up to be pretty keen.
Vis a vis commissions interested parties can read about them in my previous journal:

commissions
Posted 17 years agoOkay, so I've churned out a few, and I'm willing to take on more if there are interested parties.
After taking a more accurate estimate of the time the pages take me, sorry kids but prices are going up, and some things are being restructured.
Colored pages are going to run:
$25 per single panel page
$30 for multiple panels.
BUT in the wake of upping my prices I'm rolling out a new kind of commission:
INKS ONLY
This means refined black and whites, inked in photoshop.
$15 per single panel page
$20 for multiple panels
As always, four page limit, nothing above an R rating. Commissioner receives high res digital files only.
For availability, contact me at:
angrboda_husky[at]yahoo.com
with a short description of what you're looking for.
