I managed to make headway on the Chrysler! I finally found the plastic part of the spotlight handle I needed! ^^ Mine was rotted to oblivion before I owned the car, and I didn't want to buy a whole spotlight assembly just for a handle...... but I found one on eBay! ^^ Yeah, that is all the progress I have recently made though v.v Outside of priming the engine to keep engine from locking up and cleaning out the interior lol

So, this is random, but quite a while back, I bought an old Motorola record player/radio console. Had to put a little work into it, but it has been a great system ever since. I never could figure out when it was made, though. I had figured late 50s, early 60s, based on the style of the exterior and the gauges. Tried searching the model number on the back and running through antique radio/record player sites, but to no avail. And finally, as I am sitting here, trying to get Fuzzles to sleep, I tried searching in a shortened model number, and figured out it was made in 1963! Yay! I can finally say I know when it was made! ^^ Well, that's it. Might be looking into a 1948 Crosley record player tomorrow. We shall see ^^

Alrighty! Now that I don't have violent hiccups I am good to go! ^^ So! As you may or may not know, I had to sell the truck. This is fairly upsetting to me, but it was sell it, or not have enough money for the Chrysler. So, without a second thought, the truck went bye-bye. Then I squealed like a giddy school girl as the nice Russian guys unloaded my car. It was funny to watch, as I am pretty sure they were saying naughty things in Russian, as my car decided it wanted to be stubborn with them ^^ The Chrysler and I are very much alike lol But anyways, then once they got it off the truck, I (with the help of the poor neighbor kid I bribed into slavery with cookies) pushed it into the spot next to my Dart. Which, by the way, the Dart is legally on the road again, it just needs the blower fan replaced and the master cylinder replaced, which I have laying around. But then I waxed and waxed and waxed, and Fuzzles played in the interior. She liked the steering wheel. She leaned forward and had to play with it. Got a couple good pics of it too ^^ Now, I have been cleaning (inside and out) and making a list of everything I am going to need to make the Chrysler happy. Luckily, I found a donor 1950 Chrysler Windsor, which has really nice floors and whatnot on it, so that I can do a little swapping ^^ It's pretty much just the body, though. Won't have any extra parts for mine. Oh well ^^ The part I am going to have trouble finding is the "Royal" fender badge in NOS condition. I have both mine, but one is missing a little piece. Then, today, I went and transferred the truck's plates to the Dart. Then I replaced the positive battery cable's terminal, and cleaned all the connections. After a jump from the Suzuki, and a bit of starting fluid (as well as some tans fluid) we are under way ^^ The brakes work, most of the time ^^ After a little pumping lol. Oh well. More fun ahead ^^ I just wish I had a garage x.x

(In summary for those of you who won't read that.... aka all of you) I sold the truck to pay for the Chrysler's transportation. I have been cleaning lots of stuff and making a list of things that need fixed. I also made the Dart legal to drive again, since it is my only other car. The Dart needs a little work. I want a shop/garage. And a place to paint vehicle parts. And powder coat things. And one of those nifty things that you bolt a car's body to and then can spin it around to work on whatever you need to ^^ The end.

If you read both things, I commend you. It either means you really want to know what's going on, you were that bored, or someone forced you to read it all...... for some odd reason. Anyways have fun everyone ^^

So, I went to the dentist today... (long overdue x.x) Had my wisdom teeth yanked, two mostly gone teeth yanked, and another one had a root canal. I go back in on December 2nd to get the crown put on. I am glad I finally got it done (especially since I maxed out my work insurance that I had until the end of the month with these lol Had to make sure I got my worth of paying for that stuff X3) Now I am just sitting here on some pain meds, waiting for things to stop bleeding (they could stitch one of the holes shut all of the way, so it had to clot to heal. Now I will just need to get a fake tooth on a retainer so my smile is not quite as scary lol. On the plus side, it should work for Fandi's dance tomorrow (50s apocalyptic theme, which I would have loved to have been able to use my Chrysler for.....) Thinking of taking one or two commissions for foam head bases, but we'll see. I don't have fur laying around, or I would say partials, but oh well. Maybe eventually. Still want to get my stuff done x.x

Yep yep. Today is my third day being housewife, since I lost my job. So far, so good, though. *knocks on wood* At least it means the house is getting clean ^^ And we don't need a babysitter anymore lol Plus, my day is more free, so I can randomly go hit a coffee shop, or work on the truck, or whatever. Today is some light shopping and more cleaning =P And feeding baby. Maybe something a little more fun.... maybe work on the PS3 or get out somewhere. We shall see..,,,,

So, I was supposed to get a bit further on my fursuit head....... instead I got distracted by "Goofy Movie", which I put on the PSP for the baby to watch, then I did little touch-ups to the truck drawing, then I had to reflow my PS3, then food, then sleep. The world plots against me finishing this suit -_- I am just hoping I can debut it at FurIdaho, but we'll see........

Onto the reason for this journal. I am not sure if you knew I was being sarcastic about what I said............ BUT! I was. Tis how I am ^^ Very sarcastic. Just to set things straight =P My fursuit broke from normal walking and jumping around use. Not kinky sex on a grassy knoll outside of the Nampa Civic Center during Fandemonium -_- My suit was not made for that =P And now onto a random update ^^ Ummmmm........ I no longer have my Chrysler due to a car shipping company that failed to get me a truck within a few months....... I have recently taken to electronics repairing and modification to fill my spare time........ I plan on getting another project/driver once taxes roll around......... work.......... work.... sleep.......... eat............ watch "The Fantastic Mr. Fox" with the baby......... drive the Dart around the block........ Ummmmm on the upside, my PS3 watercooling mod is almost done ^^ Would anyone care to see pictures? I think that's about it for an update. Now back to playing the new ICO & Shadow of the Colossus game ^^

So, my new cartridge and needle came in form eBay today ^^ Ordered it Friday. I love this guy!!! It works beautifully, I just had to remove the metal extra casing to make it compatible with my setup ^^ If any of you out there have old record players and need a needle or cartridge and are having trouble finding it, I'd check out needledaddy1 on eBay. Anywhos! I'm off to listen to my new Daft Punk record, probably followed by Benny Goodman....... most likely....... (all while playing Assassin's Creed lol)

Well, it has decided it wanted to die a little T.T It has needed a new needle for a little bit, which I had found and was going to order, but the cartridge itself has broken its clips to hold the needle in correctly x.x I have looked all over for a new cartridge, but it seems so far that a Sonotone 9T-HCM is almost non-existent x.x I have found a hopeful cartridge on eBay, but it does not list my specific model number, so I have contacted the seller and given him all of the information in hopes that if that one won't work they will know where I can find one. So, the hunt begins........ OH! And if any local furs know of any places in the area that fixes or sells record player parts, let me know ^^ And no....... The Record Exchange won't have my part -_- They suck and only sell newer stuff =P As far as record player parts go, anyways x.x
