What do you guys do when getting an art block or just in a rut?

I've been miserable the last few days because I have commissions to work on and personal project ideas and prepping for art market next month... but I set up my materials and I sit down and then I just sit, I stare at my tablet /canvas / paper etc and I just can't will myself to get to work.

How do you get past a funk? I want to do my art, I need to work on these things. I try talking to my partner and friends but they just can't relate very well, so perhaps a fellow art friend can?

So I have been working on a really old species concept from my high school years, and I would like to see who might be interested in having one of these Beasties

~~ Sahkhari ~~

Spirits who have possessed skulls
Can be any gender / no genitalia of any kind
Slim body types
Can be slightly muscular
Nature tone palettes
Always has 3 eyes and a gem stone

The gemstones are their life source, can only posses a skull if at least one eye socket is intact and the center of the skull goes through trauma and causes a split or hole for the third eye. All Sahkhari share the same eye color.

Oval Gem stone
Any animal skull without horns

~ Rare Sahkhari ~
Oval Gem Stone
Can have any animal skull with natural occurring horns
Custom horns - not naturally occurring

~ Ultra Rare Sahkhari ~
Jeweled Gem - any shape
Unique skull including custom, mythical, or monster with any style horns
Bone fragments can be added to the body
