Whelp!

Honestly, I kinda thought this would happen when I started to get more active on DA again.

Their policies are kinda shit when it comes to the content I host generally. Rebuilding another DA or fighting the ban some other way is just too much work for me at this point. I have a whole website of my own to make, and DeviantArt just seems to be more of a chore lately than it has been a fun experience to use. It was my biggest reach platform with the most people watching it, but that's okay. I get commissions and write stories because I enjoy doing that and making said content. I'm not in it for clout or money or anything like that, I'm in it because it's something I love to do.

So maybe it's just for the best overall.

Lotessagrad - A massive text adventure that I am really proud of so far, and Cerolian Sagas - which I'm working towards publishing the third book in the series. It'll be a full trilogy after that! Which I think is super cool.

Hello!

I'm getting closer and closer to getting the first public 'Proof of Concept' release of my Quest Text Adventure game out. I still have a long way to go until I'm comfortable with sharing it publicly, but I'm really happy with how it's turning out so far. Most of my delays have been work related - Day job's been kicking my teeny bum, basically.

So! What is Lotessagrad, what's the concept, what can you expect from the game?

Getting this out of the way. Quest only runs on Windows that I'm aware of, unless you use work-arounds like Wine and whatnot. It's a limitation of Quest 5 I believe.

Lotessagrad - The game is basically going to be an interactive Transient text adventure. Instead of just reading these stories here, you'll be able to take control and experience deaths of your own. The basic spirit of the game is - "You choose the situations you get into, the people of Lotessagrad choose your fate." Currently, as I'm writing this, there are 80 deaths in the game, and my goal before the project's finished is to get that number over 1000. Working in Quest plays to my strengths as a writer.

The genre is essentially "What if a Fantasy/Medieval DnD style society fairly rapidly got Cyberpunk-level tech?" A mix of magic, swords, and sorcery with modern technology, firearms, and futuristic sci-fi tech. You can expect many of the typical fantasy folks running around from Tieflings, Kobolds, and Gnolls to Elves, Goblins, and Orcs/Half-Orcs. Just the tip of the iceberg on the character selection that's planned.

Gameplay? Death as a game mechanic. Dying is a part of the game and earns you Affection and Anima depending on the death and how much the person who killed you enjoyed your death directly. You'll be able to gather affection for specific characters you like when they're implemented, get 'Affection Endings' (Become their pet/experience what it'd be like to be their pet), and explore the world itself to uncover the story and mysteries of Lotessagrad, the 'Floating City of Splendor' as a whole. Expect LOADS of deaths, including environmental ones if you aren't careful. There's also a working stats system, and an in-game guide on each individual death to keep track of which deaths you've achieved and which ones you still haven't found. I'm doing my best to make each individual character feel as real as I possibly can, and I'm having a blast doing it.

What can you expect from the first 'Release'?
Version 0.0100 will be the first playable, public release of the game. It'll have one primary character (Dariya Zelenko, a pink Tiefling former adventurer-turned-PMC Captain) and several other sub-characters that'll all be their own primary character later on. You'll be able to explore her quarters fully, reach an ending with her directly, learn about the game world, etc. I'm shooting for 100 deaths at least, but it'll probably wind up closer to 130 deaths before I'm done (I just like writing them, they're fun. Also it's fun to give them funnie names.) Each death is generally around as long as a Transient story with some spanning a bit longer depending on how carried away I got, so there won't really be any 'You died lul' type deaths. Some shorter, quicker ones sure.

Other stuff? - Characters illustrated by Meawt, death sketches will be done by Spelledeg on a casual basis. I do eventually want to have all the deaths illustrated by quick sketches in game, but that's a later-update sort of thing. In the first version, the vast majority of the deaths won't have sketches, if any. Though, once they're put into the game, you'll be able to look at them whenever you want after you 'unlock' the death!

Will the game be free? - Yes
Version numbers have a system. First number before the decimal is for a full, feature complete game. First two after the decimal are for public free releases. Last two are for Patreon/Supporter 'Mini' WIP releases. The only content you'll have to pay for, is if you want access to monthly / bi-monthly WIP releases of the game after the first public release is out. Example!!!

1.0000 - Full Game Release (Free)
0.0100 - First free public version.
0.1211 - 12th public version, 11th WIP update after that version's release.

(No, I don't intend to make you wait for 100 WIP releases before a public release, haha.)

Follow me on the Tweeter if you want. I made an account a while ago but haven't been super active other than bothering people sometimes and sharing other peoples stuff. I'm going to try and put it into the loop of uploads though - which includes uncensored PDF versions of all the stories I upload.

So no (REDACTED) - This doesn't apply as much over here since our stories on FA are uncensored, but yeah.

Alright, First -

I apologize it's taken so long for me to make a journal about this, though rest assured, I've been doing other things in the meantime in regards to what's going on here. To start off with, I've disabled comments on this journal because I am *not* interested in debate about this topic. There's nothing to debate. Black lives matter, period. Yes, all lives do matter, but as everyone else has said so far - not all lives are currently in danger.

Now, I'm completely ok with saying the following:
If you are in support of the police violence that's spread across the country, if you're in support of the president clearing out peaceful protesters for a photo op, if you're in support of the press and journalists being beaten by the police...

Don't like my stories, don't like my commissions.
Fuck off. I don't need your support, and I don't want it. This isn't a conservative vs liberal topic, this isn't a political post, this is a human rights post. I don't care if you're conservative, i don't care if you're liberal, i don't give a damn about your political leanings. I never have, and I never will. I don't *ever* get involved in political discourse unless it's necessary. But, guess what.

It's necessary.

Alright, so I've been on the fence about making any sort of journal like this - Mostly because I avoid drama like the plague. However, I figure I should have at least one open source for people to look at if they've come across this individual. So, I'm going to open this up with a question:

Have I ever, at any point in my career, posted a single journal or status update or anything about someone - spreading lies about them in an attempt to hurt their standing in the community?

I'll answer it for you - No. I'm not about that sort of game. The list of people I have blocked is incredibly short, and I don't put people on blast for a reason. Issues can be fleeting, and if I've blocked you then I just feel you're toxic to me and I don't want that negativity in my life. Any problem I have had, with ANYONE, is a personal problem. Why? Well - Because the LAST thing I want to do to anyone is hurt their experience here or anywhere else in any community unless they're a genuine threat to someone.

This journal is in response to me finding out that someone has been telling others that I have lied about them publicly and ruined their life. The individual in question is someone I blocked years ago and haven't thought about since, like - at all. Pictures of them show up from time to time, and my thoughts on that are usually just 'Oh, glad they're still getting commissions and stuff. Hope they're doing well.' - and I move on. Drama? No thanks, I don't like letting issues linger and drama isn't my friend.

Another note? I haven't said their name, I won't give a link to their page, and I won't tell you WHO this individual is if you ask me. If the story sounds familiar to you, you probably already know who I'm talking about. If it doesn't, consider it a warning in case someone does try and spout some crap about that. I am 100% unwilling to hurt someone's standing in the community based on a personal dispute, and that's final. I didn't even want to make this journal, the only reason I am is (As I said before) just to set the record straight and clear my own name.

I'm a bit behind on that particular series' stories, which I hope to rectify when I get the chance and the ambition to hammer them out. There are some really good pictures made by really epic artists, as well as a few videos, that need to be written for and the backlog has me a bit overwhelmed at the moment.


Ascendant
Artist: Myself

Ascendant is a new series I am doing based on the namesake battleship's crew as they travel across the stars enjoying the spoils of their conflict. This series is going to primarily consist of Daz Studio art that I create myself, which will be uploaded to Patreon[/color][/url] before it hits anywhere else. Right now I'm working on a render series introducing the main characters with their pets, and will continue the comic soon.


Amaterasu
Artist: Cher-Ro

This is both a new series of art and stories, as well as a text-based adventure game. It's replacing 'The Kita Estate' since the premise of that game is obsolete and a lot of the characters that were primarily involved in it no longer work well in that environment. I'm far more excited about this project though, since it will not only allow you to die gruesomely - but you can also choose to take the role of a normal-sized individual killing tinies in gruesome ways. If you got to play "The Kita Estate" in it's alpha form, there will be interactions just as in-depth as what that game had. Keep an eye out for some amazing artwork in this series coming very soon! It will all be done by the amazingly talented Cher-Ro.


Eva
Artist: Bubimun

The first issue of this series is currently planned out to around 40 pages and counting, containing a lot of crush related material. Bubimun is doing a fantastic job at bringing out the adorable feel of the main characters, and I am positively addicted to the story so far. I won't be going into too much detail right now about the storyline itself - just that it's a perfect mixture of adorable fun and gruesome death befitting any series made in the Transient vein. Keep an eye out for new updates soon!


Queensville

Queensville will continue as time allows. Molotav and I are currently working on it through art/story trades with no actual deadlines attached at the moment. With all the other projects, and Molotav's own busy schedule, things may be a bit slow-going for this series.


Arethe
Artist: Mikurei

Arethe is an ongoing project that follows a small Fairy family who live in a miniature house and have abducted Mathew for their own personal needs. He serves as their obedient little pet as they go about their lives, enjoying his submissiveness and their ultimate control over his resurrection abilities. Their miniature home was built by a nice mortal family of Anthros, who are hexed to see Mathew as nothing more than an insect. It's still ongoing, and will be featuring a lot of really epic art from Mikurei only.

Hello Lovelies~

If you know me personally, You know that I've been massively busy with quite a few things. I'm not really here to make excuses for inactivity, though I am going to update you all on what's going on and a few things about this page in general.

Update 1- Wanna support me and let me know you care/want to keep seeing new content? Not only am I still writing stories, I am also making my own art and games now using Daz Studio and Quest. My text game, The Kita Estate, will have you wandering an otherworldly manor occupied by dozens of girls with thousands of ways to die when it's finished. Art that I create is uploaded to Patreon first before anywhere else, and depending on how busy my life is, could be months in advance. I'm also working on a comic that'll be created using polls as to how Mat's fate should be decided. There are a lot of neat creature models I've been coming across as well, so there may be fluffy or feral content later on. Dragons, etc...

Unfortunately because I've been working so hard and have been absolutely exhausted at the end of each day, it's been very difficult for me to produce new content. Updates have been monthly, though I'm trying to find good ways to fix that.

Update 2- While I get a staggeringly larger number of favorites and views over on DeviantArt than I do here, I will never leave FurAffinity for a few reasons. FurAffinity is 'Safer' in a lot of ways... Over on DA all of the art posted and stories are censored heavily to keep from having art taken down and my account banned over there. [REDACTED] is all over the place when things get too... DEVIANT. There's virtually no chance of my account here getting banned for such things, so no matter what - my FA will always be running. I post here before I post anywhere else too! It's a bit disheartening because FA is REALLY quiet for me when it comes to comments and I put a lot of work into my stories.

Update 3- I have several special side-stories planned for the near future...

Queensville comics and pictures are being made as a canon side-story to Transient in cooperation with the creator of the Queensville game universe, Molotav. This, like Transient, is an ever-evolving story-line.

The Librarian is another canon side-story to Transient. These comics and pictures are being illustrated by Bubimun, and they're essentially a word-for-word visual retelling of roleplays missouro and I are doing.

The Trade & Kita Crew are stories that I am working on myself. The majority of the art and stories will be all of my own creation with minimal help from outside sources forsake a few odd commissions here and there. The Trade follows an Elven girl and her Fae friend as they create a business empire selling and trading tiny humans, while Kita Crew follows Allison Kita and her friends in the Seattle area. They discover the joys of toying with micros as their own world shifts from one without to one teeming with the tinies seemingly overnight.

Monette's Pet is another canon Transient side-story based on a roleplay series between myself and my friend Purplefury. This follows Abbey and Ariel Monette and their ventures with their new tiny toy Mathew.

Vlulkilous is a canon Transient side-story based on a roleplay between myself and my good friend Sos on a neat desert planet where survival isn't assured.

Update 4- Mentioned before, The Kita Estate is a work in progress Quest game that I am planning to create over the course of the next few years. I don't have a timetable right now, mainly because I hate deadlines, but I'm looking to get a playable game out mid-to-late December.

Update 5- I'm cleaning stuff up here and will be trying to post my old content as well from time to time.

Last but NOT least! Still fighting to get ahead on Transient stories - Fell behind a while ago and have yet to catch back up.
