I've been experiencing problems with Patreon since last year, as the site began deleting my page citing "suspicious activity." Attempts to get information from support about what this means and how to avoid it in the future have been unsuccessful.
Now my page has been deleted for the third time and since the middle of last week I have been trying to restore access to it. This time the support is exceptionally slow. And if the last two times restoring the page took 1-2 days, now they are clearly in no hurry. And what annoys me most about this situation is that they didn’t even bother to notify me that my page was deleted. I learned about this from my subscriber >_<
I have suspicions why this started happening. After Payoneer got rid of all Russian users, I was forced to turn to intermediaries with working PayPal. I believe that the same PP address is used by several dozen other users on Patreon. But I have no other opportunity to use Patreon due to sanctions. I tried to get support to explain this, but they refused to answer, citing some secret algorithms of their security system, with the help of which they identify scammers.

*sigh* Guys... I just want to keep drawing my pictures and make ends meet...
I'm very upset right now because over the past 3 years Patreon has been a very important source of support that helped me in the most difficult times.

I'm happy to report that after two months I've finally found a way to use Patreon again. So I'm going to continue to develop my cozy place there with you. I'm very grateful to everyone who responded at this difficult moment and supported me on Boosty. To tell the truth, Boosty really upset me with the lack of many convenient functional things, as well as a lot of glitches ( and there are also quite strong restrictions on adult content >_> and it doesn't support GIF 🙈 ), but I'm not going to completely abandon it for now. Because no one knows what other sanctions await Russia ahead ^^'

So, a really desperate times have come. As you know, many Russian artists are experiencing difficulties due to recent events. I get cold and numb from the news in the world every time I read them. It's really hard for me to talk about it. All I can say is that I'm very sad and sorry that in the 21st century such events are still possible. I hope and pray it will be over soon and all this senseless death and suffering will cease. As for my country... Russia is becoming a really scary place to live...

But! I'm just a small person in this world and I need to live somehow, earn and take care of my loved ones. Since Patreon and commissions were my only source of income in recent years, I had to look for other ways. Hello my dear watchers!

You may have noticed that I have not been very active in recent months and there are some reasons for this. Quite unpleasant changes have taken place in my life and this greatly affected my working capacity. Last summer, I lost my job due to a pandemic, and I still haven't succeeded in finding a new one (and to be honest, I'm not sure I want to work for hire again >_<). And also after the New Year, a tragedy happened in my family: a person who was very dear to me passed away. And I still haven't recover after that. I'm very grateful to my family and friends for their support in this difficult period for me. Without you I would not have coped. You are my ray of sunshine in this scary world! *O*

Unfortunately, after all this, my life has changed a lot and I still cannot return to the previous level of drawing. And I'm afraid that I won't be able to work on commissions for now. Well, I rarely write such journals and I apologize in advance for a lot of text (and grammar errors ^^'). I was thinking about raising the question of my commission prices for a long time, and today I saw a tweet, which says that artists should to value their time and skill, and they should not charge less than $ 25 per hour for commercial work. This made me seriously think, because I feel that I ask for my art much less than I actually put in it. For example, for the work on which I spend about 25-30 hours, I ask about $ 250-300. If I asked for a minimum payment of $ 25 per hour, then such work should cost $ 600+. It turns out that I ask for my skills half as much as I should?
Your opinion will be very helping to me, because it's difficult for me to evaluate myself from the outside. In general, I quite often doubt myself and my abilities :C And also I can’t ignore the opinion of my potential clients and I need to know if people are ready to pay that kind of money for my level of work. There is another reason why I raised this topic. The fact is now my main occupation is graphic design. I have been engaging in this for more than 6 years since I graduated from the university. And to be honest, I'm sick of it >_< I just can't take it anymore! Until the New Year, I had such a heavy overload that I got burnout. I thought I could come to my senses and have a good rest on the long New Year's weekend, but it didn’t work. I still hate what I do. Now I really want to quit, send everything to hell and just relax... and at the moment I'm seriously worried about my mental health.
Commissions has always been an entertainment for me and a way to earn a little extra money. I like to draw and this activity is like a relaxation for me and it always brought me a lot of joy and satisfaction. So now, having such a strong hatred of my main job, I seriously thought, “Could I live from my art?” I made some calculations and realized that $ 1000 per month would be enough for me to fully satisfy my needs for a start, but at the same time I understand that, having my current prices, I will have difficulty to live normally. I know that $ 1000 seems like a ridiculous amount in Europe or USA, but these are realities of life in the Russian outback. A salary of $ 400-500 is considered normal here ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Of course, I will not starve to death and I will not be kicked out of the house if I lose my job tomorrow. There is my loved ones to support me, but I wouldn't want to be a burden for my family.

That is why now, when I'm on the verge of a serious decision that will greatly affect to my life, your opinion about my prices is very important to me. Please spend some of your time and share your thoughts. Thank you so much C:

One person are not able to send me the money to my account in Paypal today. I decided to explore the problem and have a talk to my friends on this matter.
Who doesn't know I'm russian and I live in Russia. It turned out that similar problems has many of my russian friends. It seems that people can't send the money to russian Paypal accounts .

I need an advice. I have long want to buy a copic markers, but I have many doubts since I never draw with them. I want to buy the whole set with many colors at once (rather than several single colors) to be a fully immersed in this medium. So I need an advice which copic markers are best to buy. Particularly I interested in advice from people who actively draw with them or had experience with it. I've watched a bunch of lessons about drawings with copic markers and I can't wait to try it! And yes I know this is a pretty expensive stuff, but I want it!
