It's been awhile since I've ventured onto this site.
Not sure if anyone is still around or still even looks at this account.
But, I'm trying to get back into the swing of drawing after taking such a long time off.
My own characters don't quite inspire me anymore and I don't feel up to the commitments of a trade right now.
I'm not promising anything but... I'd like to do something.
Throw some characters at me. We'll see what happens <3
Or just comment down below and say hi. I wouldn't mind talking to some old familiar faces.

Posted 3 years agoI have been extremely sick since December and have been unable to work due to it.
I recently lost $100 due to outside forces.
I'm not going to go into details, I just really really need help and will take anything.
I'm open for PWYW/PWYC commissions.
This will be a sliding scale of basically how much ever you pay, I'll draw something in that price range from my normal commissions.
I basically will go on a sliding scale.
You can tell me if you want digital or traditional art and I'll draw something based on what you give me.

I'm going to try and be more active again here on FA.
I'm still struggling right now to get art done very fast because of my health.
Expect to see at least a couple of updates though with some art I've gotten done in the past few months.

I don't know...
FA has always been pretty dead for me.
I've talked about it several times before.
I still post here for the sake of some friends.
But like...
It's depressing?
So I don't know... I might make a new account as annoying as that is.
Start over fresh after 6 years. Inactivity....

Posted 9 years agoSo... I bought two commissions from the same person in September 2015.
I got one of the two on October 6th.
I'm still waiting for the second one.
I know that the person took a long hiatus (a few months easily).
The picture was $15.
I sent them a note in September 2016... heard back from then in October.... They said they were slowly getting back to the swing of things and said that they would show me a WIP soon.
I haven't heard anything back from them since then....
I'm sort of wondering what I should do.
Last thing they posted was on December 4th... and I think it was a gift.
And the other things they posted recently were gifts.
I don't want to ask for a refund but at the same time I do cause $15 can do me a lot of good right now.
But also like... I'm not sure if I should bother them about it or not?
Like I fully understand what life can be like and I don't want to put pressure on anyone. I really do get it.
But it's been a year and two months now.....
I've waited for 3+ years for a commission before (which I only got half of in the first place, but I gave up on that artist a long time ago).

I've got a long story but the short version is that I have a friend that's doing something for me that I could never repay them back for.
I would really adore being able to get some art for them.
I'm currently completely incapable of drawing due to health and probably won't be able to draw again till Mid-January 2017.
I'm also broke.

Posted 9 years agoIt doesn't matter as much over here on FA.... I never update anymore but I figured I might as well.
I'm going to take a personal break for awhile from everything.
Today has just been... really hard.
Lately I haven't been sleeping.... and today I got maybe... 2 hours?
But also....
We had to put one of our cats to sleep.
It's just really hard to accept to be perfectly honest....
And I'm having a really hard time not crying.
I know it's for her own good but it just hurts.
And I can't stop crying.
She's about 14 years old we think.
So it's not bad for a cat...
But she's our little baby kitten...
And it's going to be hard.
My brother can't even come over to see her because he's crying too hard.
My mom took her to the vet today and...
They think she had cancer in her actual eye....
and the only way to really get rid of it was to take out the entire eye, and even then....
there was no guarantee that would fix it.
So.... they put her to sleep...
my mom was petting her the whole time....
And just with her the whole time....
I wish I had been brave enough to be with her and say good bye.
So yeah....
I'm sorry everyone.

Life
So.... I started up classes again and fuck.... I am not happy.
This is the class that the teacher kicked me out because I was too sick to go to class.
I was getting the homework done.
I was getting A's on all the work.
She kicked me out cause I physically was in too much pain to be in class.
She straight up said "If you have a job that will interfere with this class, drop this class"
And I actually have to take this class to graduate.
But between working 8 hours a day at two different jobs plus this class.... I'm running pretty low on energy.
And.... I possibly strained my foot....
So that brings us to....
Art
I swear that I am working on art.
I am just working very very slow.
Simply because I have a total lack of energy.

It's a mix between having no energy and trying not to fuck up my wrist again.
Which finally beings us to...
Health
Health wise I have been doing.... okay?
I've had a low grade fever for about three weeks now.
Basically equivalent to 101 *F.
Which isn't too bad for me, but it's still like.... I takes a lot out of a person, you know?
I've just been exhausted lately.
TL:DR
I'm working as fast as I can but I'm working 8 hours a day and my teacher is a bitch.
Please be patient with me.
And I'm so very very sorry.

Mostly cause I feel like there's no one really to talk to here on FA anymore.
But...
Health update for the people I owe art.
I'm working on it... very slowly but I'm getting there.
My wrist is doing a lot better.
I'm just moving slowly cause I don't want to fuck it up again.
But.....
I got sick.
It's a very low grade fever and hasn't gone above more then 1 or 2 degrees higher then normal.
But it still sucks.....
And makes it hard to work.
So I'm working, I swear.
Just moving very slowly.
