Going to make this short but to the point.

I'm doing my best to get everyone that's owed something, what they are owed.
Art, refunds, whatever it may be. I'm honestly trying to make it happen.

For me, artwork isn't something I just spit out and it looks great. I spend hours on just a rough sketch, usually have a friend redline, then spend another few hours real etching and finishing the piece.

I don't have a lot of free time. I have two days off(sometimes 1) from work. That doesn't leave me with a lot of free time. I have a house(actual house, not apartment) to care for, pets to care for, an health issues to care for.

As far as money and refunds go. It takes me a while to save up enough.. I have so many mandatory bills that with gas and cheap food, usually ends up even. Meaning I have none to spare. I don't go and spend my money willynillylike on art commissions, eating out, nothing. All goes to bills, grocery, my pets, and gas money to and from work.

So please, I know a lot of people have high expectations of commissioners but please remember that we're people too and have lives that can get real ahitty, real fast. But I'm trying.

A few days ago my tablet stopped working but I'm going to try and work on it again tonight to make it work so I can finish a commission or two today-tomorrow.

Okay. All those things I posted today..... I did today. Im really trying to get everything on my to-do list done art wise.

I have had ZERO time for sitting down and actually working on anything.
A few people I know IRL know this but I had something big emotionally happen and it was like my mind spun.

So as some people might remember, my mom and I had a GIANT fall out last year in.. July? (11') and we stopped talking all together when she had been my closest family. We could talk about anything, and after that giant fight I threw away the phone I had that was my only contact.

Well Thanksgiving day, I got a facebook msg from her saying "I miss you, and I love you. I'm sorry" kinda thing.
I kinda broke down, took a few days to return a msg, then let her call me. Turns out she bought a plane ticket to FL to try and fix things. And well.. I spent a week with my mom trying to rebuild and learning how life has been. She left to California again then a day later, 's mom flew in from California.....

UGGGGH.
And she was here until the 14th.

Then we got new roommates who I found on craigslist then later found they were furries........ LOL I've taught them of FA so people should go say hi to  tendaji &  simisan :D <3 they're pretty rad!!

SO. Finally....
Today has been the first day I've had to sit down... and work on my to-do list.
I know everyones been waiting a while for their commissions.. I'm really trying my best. But rebuilding the connection to my family is far more important than anything so people can hate me or w/e for being slower than I had hoped but if anyone knows my life; shit happens. And I have priorities. Family will always be at the top of that priority list.

I will try to finish one more piece tomorrow in the afternoon. Just depends on when I get home. I've learned im no longer going to try and keep expectations that people will get their art in case stuff comes up that takes my time instead. But I will try. :c

As many know, I broke my collarbone a while back and couldn't do normal work. Well I went the the dr and got new X-rays an stuff and was given the ok to return to Tomorrowland! So with this, my hours of working have changed suddenly an blah blah I will be having more time after work now to try and finish everything shortly!!

Alright.. I need just over 40 bucks to pay my car payment..

Sorry guys.. I only get like.. An hour and a half to draw after work.. I'm trying guys.. Working with my depression how it is right now is tough.

Even with the bit of help I got, I still can't make all my bills.. I have like.. A total of 28 cents in my account I think..

I hate this.

I work almost everyday.. And never get anything from it, it seems. I need a haircut BAD. My shoes for work are falling apart, one I can stick my big toe out the front. We have barely any food.

I'm glad tho we have tons of dog and cat food at least.

I just gotta keep my head up..

So I've been pretty down in the dumps about life lately. I feel like I want to DO something.. But couldnt figure out what that something was..

I really thought about it today and finally it hit me.. But I can't do this alone. It'd need to be a collaboration between myself and furry artists.

I want to get into my own company. I want to make and sell items like shirts, tote/messenger bags, bandannas, etc. With "furry" artwork on them. Be it a simple chibi of a ghsep gnawing on a ball or W/E.

But I know MY art isnt that desirable. BUT I know many people would enjoy more "furry" themed items.

So my question for all the artists out there..
Would you be interested in making artwork for items like that? Thats all you'd need to do and you would get a percentage of the profit from each tshirt.

I mean, I know there are sites like redbubble and all that jazz but as artists you dont get much profit from them.. Plus you can only sell them online. We are planning on going to conventions and buying ad time here on FA..

But tell me if this is a good idea? or a bad idea.

Cause thats all it is right now.. An idea. I want to know honest opinions ;3;

updates.

Life is life. Nothing big, nothing small. Trying to figure out what to do as far as career.. I am thinking about going into the entertainment section of my company :D so.. might try for that as soon as my shoulder/collarbone heals.

SPEAKING OF.

So that sprain that occurred back in May? So the pain and everything started to go away by the beginning of July, right? Well late July, it started to get a little sore. I told my managers and they filed the reports. Well two weeks after I started hurting I had to run an intrusion, which in disney-speak that means someone got out of a ride mid-motion which is dangerous and stops the show/ride. I locked the captains console down and took one step and felt a really strong pull/pinch. I ran(well walked) the building making sure everyone was sitting and safe. Got back to the captains console and called for a manager. I couldn't do anymore. My shoulder was killing me.

I called out of work the next day and decided to go to health services even though a manager had told me just to take it easy.

Health services sent me to a specialist. A week later, x-rays were done.

I might have a fracture in my collarbone. :D

How someone does that without FALLING, I have no clue.
But I have an appointment on Thursday to go over MRI results.

huzzah.

But to make things a bit better, over the weekend we had two smelly dogs staying with us( chibbums &  stylo)
We ate burritos and too much queso, went to didney worl, and imagined a fat man with a rape whistle every car ride.

All and all, was an awesome weekend.

I need to motivate myself to sketch more. I feel art is so relaxing to do and I do want to get better..

I don't want to be some AMAZING artist, that isn't me.. but is like to explore more.

I need some ideas that I MUST do. I am going to start sketching again hopefully everyday.

I always talk about things I want to do but now I really want to make a change and actually do things.

Drawing practice and learning a second language are at the top of that list.

Give me ideas.. characters.. scenarios.. anything! I need ideas to get the creative juices flowing!! ;;

So what color of faux fur would you get for Mao, my kittysona?

I have no idea if plain orange from distinctivefabrics would be too bright?
Is there anyplace that sells a more mellow orange fur that would match Mao better?

So much has been going on.

I'm still trying to recover from tearing a ligaments in my shoulder at work.
So most the time, I come home, take meds, then pass out.

Never tear your shoulder.
It sucks. So hard.

Also, my dad is buying us a house.
It closes on Thursday! :D

I've really been lacking ALL motivation...

For art, me, everything.
I cant seem to draw anything that isn't crap. Im sure it doesnt help that my arms in a sling but still D:

And myself.. ugh.. I can't explain how disappointed in myself I've been lately. From getting hurt at work to my weight.. I've just been so... bleh on myself.
I hated it when I was 150... well now I weigh a good 180... Its disgusting to me but I can't seem to find anything to help me lose the weight. I've been working and walking a lot and I cut my diet down but it seems like I'm stuck at 180lbs and I feel gross. Not saying that being large is bad, but I dont like ME weighing that much.

Anyone had a struggle with losing weight? Were you able to find a way to fight it down? Idk ;; Any tips?

It's so hard to type with one hand so I'm making this short.

I sprained my shoulder bad. My arms in a sling and it causes me quite a load of pain.

I'm on modified duties at work which is boring but hopefully its gonna help.
I go back to a doctor on the 1st to see if I can return to work or not :c
