A: YES! YES! I'm always open for commissions, unless I say otherwise.

Q: I need this done at a certain amount of time, can I get to the head of the line?

A: Absolutely, if you need it done by a certain date, you will get first priority.

Q: I haven't heard from you in a week, everything ok?

A: Yes, it could be I am busy with other things, or my computer went down, or the apocalypse happened! (hey it could happen right?). Check in with me periodically

Q: Can I like buy you lunch for getting a sketch from you?

A: While appreciated, I CANNOT afford to work for free. Even if its for a lunch or whatever

Q: Do you do requests?

A: Again I cannot afford to work for free. I love requests and I love doing art for art sake...but like everyone else I have bills to pay.

Q: I love your character! He's so awesome/hot/etc Can I (or someone else) draw you? I want my character in the picture too.

A: ABSOLUTELY! As long as I get credit, I have no issues with that...in fact I encourage it!

Q: Your (insert type of commission) is a bit out of my budget, do you offer discounts/payment plans?

A: Yes, I can totally offer you a payment plan, and as for discounts I can do those too but its on a rare basis.

Hey yall...just letting you know I have finished most of the outstanding commissions still. I will be sending you a note soon (to those who still have commissions with me) I haven't posted them because they are not ready to be posted. Stay in touch and hang tight, I got a lot to sort through still.

I will be making a new commission policy change in the near future. This is in the light of some rather indecisive and difficult peeps.

Also a tip for commissioners: don't be condescending to artists.

As you all know by now, we lost two furs  ponybird and  lokiblackfang yesterday in a car accident. I didn't know Loki, but I've talked to Vex a time or two, and he seemed to be a really great guy (somehow we kept missing each other at FC2010 and FC2011).

I am still in shock over this, and really sad. I lost a good friend to a car accident 8 years ago (dunno if you guys remember Tamewolf)

Whew what a con! So many people I got to meet finally, met up with some friends I haven't seen in a while. The new location has a few issues, but I figure it wasn't going to be perfect since this was the first year in the new location.

As for my art, sadly only one piece sold. though I noticed that with not just my art, but a lot of art that you'd think would get bids got zero bids.

This has been the best, and probably the most exhausting FC yet....and I wouldn't trade it for the world. Thanks for the great time! See y'all next year and for some of you at Frolic and possibly MFF

Okay, so redoing things here

Just send payment as a service, Paypal will take their fees out and thats fine. If you get a badge and its $20.00 so be it they gotta make money too (they would regardless but I do not want my account locked...I was not aware of them possibly locking your account if you ask your customers to compensate for fees....mah bad! so just send whatever you get (ie Badge $20) and let them take their fees out.. Sorry for any confusions folks or whatever.

Just and FYI, I apologize for delays in art! Just know that I am working on them, but life has been getting in the way. Please be patient.

So I thought id do a Do's and Dont's for commissioning me guideline....a lot of artist I would think would agree with this.....

*DISCLAIMER* the following is not directed at anyone in particular....any comments containing drama/butthurtedness will be deleted...

1:) DO send me as much info on your idea and character(s) as possible - Having more info about the drawing and the characters makes my life easier. Granted, I can work off minimal info, it just allows me to focus on the drawing.

2:) DON'T harass me by asking if the commission is done - asking me every day or every hour if it is complete will further delay the commission.

3.) DO communicate with me - contact me every so often for updates.....I get busy with other projects and I also get distracted easily.

4.) DON'T color/alter my art without my permission - It may be your characters, but I own full rights to the art. If you ask me if you can color your drawing that's fine, I may say yes or no....most likely yes. I prefer that you don't color my art period, but im a nice guy. If you wanna do it to practice, im all for that! If it is good enough, I may post it! DEFINATELY do not take credit for the art piece.....this is very very rude and unprofessional.

Also you don't need my permission to post or show others...as long as you credit me.

5.) (This one isn't a Do or don't) BE RESPECTFUL and PATIENT! - I have a busy life and I can't always focus on one specific art piece all the time....so be patient with me. You can usually see where your status is in my journal footer.
